4.0 rating based on 58 ratings

Demi Tebow, a former professional football quarterback, and his sister Franje, who was born with an underdeveloped cerebellum, were invited to the first-ever Night to Shine event in South Africa by Tim Tebow. The organization’s goal from the start was not to spark controversy, but to celebrate family and life. On February 7, 2010, during the first quarter of Super Bowl XLIV, Focus on the Family’s “Celebrate family, celebrate life” commercial aired for the first and only time. Pam Tebow appeared onscreen, reminiscing about her “miracle”. Most callers to Denver’s 850 KOA expressed support for the quarterback, with one gentleman suggesting he’d rather Tim’s top priority be.

Tebow made a choice regarding her pregnancy with Tim, and she chose not to have an abortion. Dr. James Dobson delivered his final broadcast for Focus on the Family, but Focus spokesman Gary Schneeberger waited until today to comment to the public at large. Tim was born in the Philippines and grew up traveling around doing Christian ministry with his family. Demi-Leigh grew up in South Africa in a small town focused on sustainable farming. Today, the two live with their three dogs.

The Tim Tebow Foundation provides for the physical and spiritual care of children who have been left homeless or abandoned, as well as resources to create Tim Tebow and his mother. Compassion for kids with special needs brought Tim and Demi-Leigh together and shapes their outreach as a couple as they move forward.

Demi-Leigh and Tim have openly shared their parenting philosophy, which is deeply rooted in their Christian faith. They believe in nurturing Timothy Richard Tebow, an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for three seasons. His latest project is helping Down syndrome families in Guatemala. Since 2010, the Tim Tebow Foundation has been dedicated to helping children with special needs in their community.

  • I have a really cool story – speaking of role models! i am a single mom and when my son was in grade 8 and playing football which he loved, I was sitting across the room from him and thinking to myself that I wished he had a christian male role model. Next thing I knew my son started telling me about this football player Tim Tebow (I didn’t tell my son what I was thinking). He was telling me all about his Christian influence in the sport and with tears in my eyes, I thought, Lord, You have provided a Christian male influence!

  • Tim and the Tebow family are much loved in the Philippines. The legacy of love and care in the missionary work they nurtured in the poor communities in Mindanao will leave a lasting memory of God’s enduring love of our country. To the Tebow family, you are always welcome home here in the Philippines in the bossom of our family.

  • I can’t believe some of the responses here. “Is Tim Tebow respecting other’s religion.” Is he DISRESPECTING them? No. Honestly, it’s refreshing to have someone practice what they preach. He’s a stand up guy and obviously loves God. Simply by living that, he might influence someone else. He isn’t forcing anyone to do anything. People voice their beliefs and opinions every day. Believe what you want and be done with it. Anyone who has an issue with that is simply afraid of the truth.

  • Love this Message. The commercial didn’t even touch on this. If you wanted to know what the commercial was about you had to come and watch this article. But I am willing to bet in order for Focus on the Family to even get that commercial on National TV this is what they had to do. I am sure the networks told them to tone it down. Puhleeeze. What Tim’s father said at the end says it all. Don’t kill your baby! Amen. Thanks for the message.

  • I can only imagine having had parents like Mr. n Mrs. Tebow(Queen)you are a blessing to your husband and your children🙏You are Gods greatest example of Real Parents/Family🙏Because God lives in you….the miracle of Tim Tebow blesses the world and chose an Angel, like his Mom–to be his wife,Amen 60y Momstrong been following” His”plan only…I’m leaving it all👩‍👧‍👦👪in Gods hands-Perfectly Imperfect Sinner Me(Nonna Angie)🙏The world is a better place because of The Tebow Family✌❤

  • I have the same goals for my children, to have eternal values and to be loving and giving and to look beyond the immediate rewards. I’m not Christian and I’m not following any doctrine to tell me I should do that, or how to do that. I live with love in my heart in just the same way, and wish all people could promote that and not their religion.

  • Thank you Jesus nothing is a coincide. I’m perusal this as a confirmation of my own testimony right now, I’m also going through the same situation, few weeks before I was schedule for hysterectomy surgery due to a large fibroid and multiple cysts I founded was pregnant of 2 months, I been bleeding from the beginning is been days going to the hospital heavily bleeding thinking this might be it then God shows his powers and stoped it this is my promise baby my last one a miracle maker working in my womb sparing the life of my little Israel, Praise God because I have this confirmation perusal This faithful loveliest parents sharing a story of the birth of an amazing godly young men .

  • Every Child is a Supernatural Miracle of the Almighty God. Thank you Mr. & Mrs Tebow for raising your Children in God’s fear!! Though I was a Branco’s fan( once upon a time!! ) I first saw Tim or heard him at the Memorial service of Dr. Ravi Zacharias. God has truely Blessed him with so much love & compassion & Boldness to stand for his faith in Jesus. May the Lord Almighty continue to touch many many precious lives through your family!!

  • I feel like I must have been a part of your parents love while in the incubator, because I have a deep love for both of them. I still am amazed at the story about how I designed my first home to match Father Baker’s vascilica called Our Lady of Victory. My first home was designed to match the sanctuary which I never went to physically until my son and me were separated in 2013. However I designed my first home in 2000.

  • I love the Tebow family they’re inspiring and their whole hearts belong to God… Come to Jesus all who are ready this message…Matthew 11:28-30 28″Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

  • @WHY ARE THEY HATEFUL COMMENTS? LOOK AT THE HATEFUL COMMENTS DIRECTED AT ME ON THE VARIOUS TEBOW VIDS FOR MY POSITIONS I DONT FEEL TEBOW HAS AN NFL ARM I DONT SEE HIM MAKING IT AT QB OVER THE LONG HAUL IN THE NFL I COULD BE PROVEN WRONG THATS JUST MY OPINION! IRESPECT TEBOWS WILL TO WIN HES A WORKOUT WARRIOR JUST LIKE MYSELF ALTHOUGH IM 30 YRS OLDER THEN HIM I KNOW HE PLAYED ON A BROKEN LEG IN H.S. WELL BACK IN THE MID 1970’S I PLAYED ON ATORN KNEE DIFF POS I PLAYED NY BUT AGAIN I CAN RELATE

  • Telling people about your faith and forcing it on others are two different things. One can tell you about his or her faith and you can choose to either accept or reject what someone believes. We all have choices. But forcing people to accept your faith only brings trouble. I’m sorry if some of you met people who tried to force you to believe in something you don’t believe in. In my opinion, retaliation brings more problems.

  • @saintmichael82 im an atheist and i dont hate tebow in fact its the opposite great athlete great heart desire will to win workout warrior like myself(close to 30 yrs older then him) respect his clean living no drugs booze other vices hes a real good guy just somewhat brainwashed but that goes back to his religious fanatic parents his arm was much improved in steelers game has all other tools just might make it at qb wish him the best and he knows it give your parents my best tim also good luck

  • @carey579 Sin brought about imperfection. God sent his only son to die so that our sins were forgiven. Therefore, we have a chance at eternal life. Our life on earth is only temporary because there is an even better life in heaven, thats why life on Earth can be so cruel and unfair. God wants us to reach out to those in lesser served areas so that they too may hear the good news: that God will return one day once again

  • @carey579 Ok, to be honest, I thought about the meaning of “misogynistic” and thought I had the wrong definition, but I looked it up, and I am now seriously wondering why you used that term for me. Please, I beg of you, explain why you called me that. If you’re right in calling me that, I will aim never to be like that again, and I am sorry. But anyway, did I not just say God cannot be explained? I meant it. There is nothing I can say to you that will convince you of God’s existence, guaranteed.

  • , breaking that same perfect world and bond with GOD that had intentionally created with and for us. Read the bible and youll see this in the first 3 chapters.. Studying and experience leads you to fact.. the same word that is MANMADE! Your profound comments i must add will lead you nowhere. So please when you read this and i know you will and i intend on recieving more of this Profound commenting, tell me of your beliefs, and let me proove YOU and your doings wrong. ACTS 1 verse 8. read that a

  • i meant his workout ethic workout warrior like myself though im 30 yrs older then him clean living thats great im not for the drugs drinking all the other nonsense going on out there but might life viewpoints are from the science realm not the religious one if you cant deal with that thats all your problem

  • carey. i would enjoy hearing your beliefs on life. Being that your probably one of those evolutionists or athiest or home-made believers believing in an earth dating back Millions of years, life without no Biblical Flood, believer it more then one race it would be quite sad to attack Christianity. Im sure i read a comment to you that stated Jesus died for our sin, the very sin stated in Genisis that destroyed the perfect world GOD handed to us all. ( answering a question you asked numerous time

  • Now Christianity is the most converted-to religion in the entire world! Thats a bold understanding you must come to realize, from seeking truth this is why people convert! Because the bible is the farthest dated Eye-witness historical document of GODs word in mans interpritation, i would gladly school you on some biblical events and statistics. I read your statement about why would GOD have all this starvation, and need in the world.. The answer to that is Quite simple, MAN sinned against its

  • @DEWEY510 PLAYED NT RELATE WITH TEBOW ON SOME AREAS I JUST THINK ITS OVER DONE WITH THE RELIGION ISSUE IM A NON THEIST MY VIEWPOINT IN LIFE IS FROM A SCIENCE VIEW NOT RELIGION I DONT BELIEVE IN THE SUPERNATURAL ALSO STUDIED WORLD MYTHOLOGY AND CAN SEPERATE MYTHOLOGY FROM REALITY I DONT FEEL TEBOW CAN

  • A lot of what they say is good, but they didn’t impress upon Tim Tebow just how much God hated him endorsing the company named for the false goddess NIKE while kneeling to pray to God in front of everyone. I am the guy God had communicate to the Tebows how wrong it was… but Tim refused to quit… and he ddi not spend much time in the NFL because of that. He even grew up with a verse in his home that had to deal with not serving other gods and goddesses… some lessons are learned the hard way.

  • I’m completely fine with the Tebow’s stance on pro-life, but the fact of the matter is both Tim and his mother are very lucky to have survived what they did. I have nothing against their religion, but when they use their religion and beliefs to influence young girls who are being told by a health care provider that they could possibly die if they don’t have an abortion, then yes…I have a problem with this.
