To add a family member to your Airtel postpaid plan, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Airtel Thanks app on your smartphone.
  2. Select the manage tab.
  3. Tap on the Invite Member button. Enable permission for the app to access your contacts.
  4. Log in to the My Airtel app with your phone number.
  5. Click on “More” on the bottom right.
  6. Tap My Airtel > Manage account > Your phone number.
  7. Tap Bills and Plan > Family Usage > Family.
  8. Enter the registration code ‘08123456789’ to add family members.
  9. Switch to the Airtel Postpaid Family Plan, add up to 4 connections and enjoy the convenience of a single bill.
  10. Only the parent has the rights to add or remove child numbers, change bill plans, and buy more data for the family plan.
  11. If non-payment of bill occurs, services for the entire family group will be affected.
  12. Under the 499 plan, customers can add more family connections at a chargeable amount of Rs 249 for regular-UL calls + 10GB data + 100 SMS/days (thereafter 10p/SMS).
