Ivana Trump Received Alimony, Right?

Ivana Trump, a Czech-American businesswoman, socialite, and model, was the first wife of former President Donald Trump. The couple’s highly public divorce settlement included $14 million for herself, $650, 000 a year in alimony and child support to raise their three children, a 45-room mansion in Connecticut, an apartment in Trump Plaza, and use of the mansion. Ivana received no alimony.

Despite the tumultuous years fraught with infidelity and breakups, they were reported to have a strong friendship in recent years. However, Donald’s Midas touch may be tarnished, as after his public divorce from Ivana Trump, he continued to fuel a casual relationship with Marla Maples. In 1993, Maples got pregnant with Tiffany Trump, and according to reports, Ivana had repeatedly signed a nuptial agreement that put a $25 million limit on what she could take in a divorce settlement.

In their final divorce agreement, Ivana was given $25 million plus their mansion in Greenwich, Connecticut, and had the option of a $22 million cash payment.

Ivana Trump had four marriages throughout her life, but none was more publicized than her years-long union with former President Donald Trump. The couple’s high-profile marriage and messy divorce made headlines over. When the news broke in 1990 that one of New York’s premier 1980s power couples had called it quits, Ivana Trump—the first wife of a man known as “the Donald”, a phrase she used to say—was blamed in part on the entanglement between Ivana and his business. Trump blamed the divorce in part on the entanglement between Ivana and his real estate empire.

Ivana Trump received a $14 million deal while Marla Maples lost out. A Manhattan townhouse, a Miami Beach condo, a French property, and her dog Tiger Trump are among the items to be split between Ivana Trump’s assets.
