Never really thought about it this deeply but this exact mindset got me through most of my life. Ive been saying it since i was about 13. “No reason being sad all the time. You never have to do anythinf you dont want to do. If life ever gets too hard you cam always end it.” Needless to say my family thought i was insane.

I didn’t make any new friends (which meant I was completely alone the entire year) I didn’t stay on top of all my grades like I was supposed for every second of both semesters I didn’t talk to my crush that I’ve been struggling to get over for awhile now And lastly I didn’t make any meaningful decisions at all, not even in the slightest I felt like a failure that night and promised that after perusal this along with some other depressing articles that I’d make some improvements to myself.. ..only to barely make any at all, 9th grade for me ended on a hollow and empty note and tbh I feel like I wasted one of the best years of my high school life
