📹 Family in mourning after son killed in North Bay Village domestic homicide
Two parents’ lives were torn apart Monday after their son was shot and killed by his girlfriend’s ex in North Bay Village.
I live in Bracebridge. We got well over 1m of snow but we were warned in advance and I, along with most other residents apparently, took it seriously and prepared for it. Our roads haven’t been plowed yet as they are working on the highway and main roads but who would want to drive in such conditions anyway if they didn’t have to? Winter in Muskoka! Love it!
They caused more trouble by closing off roads and highways instead of letting the people move freely. Basically people who could drive through this were stranded and away from food, water and facilities. Also, these truckers who probably came from a certain country need to stay off the roads when it snows.
Ok I’m 66 years old and this is the second time in a year they got it right about snow storms starting the winter. Last year they said a big storm and I laughed but OOPS it actually happened, now this one again the got right. So if the weather reporters are going to start getting it right does it mean they will be fired for that??
NOVEMBER’S SNOW STORMS, ROOFTOPS, & STREETS -2024** Over the heads of all I meet Falls winter’s life giving snow. Upon the rooftops and the streets Filling the sky and earth below. Dancing, swirling, skimming along, Like the snows of yesteryears. There’s lots of ice on the windows As my lashes freeze over with tears. It’s so cold; it’s too cold to snow Yet the snow continues to fall. The land is covered blanket white As the winter winds wail their call. There’s a red-hot fire awaiting me That will thaw out my every part. It’s not the glow of a fireplace But the love that dwells in my heart. By Tom Zart
Greetings from oakville Ontario thanks for the presentation my family owns a cottage outside of huntsville ontario on lake of bays but highways 60,35, 117 are affected by the system hit by gravenhurst and bracebridge but people in the cottage communities are very resilient to unfortunate weather like this cheers
