Is Todd Nepola Married?
The real estate broker Todd Nepola has filed for divorce from "Real Housewives of Miami" star Alexia Nepola, citing their marriage as "irretrievably broken." The couple, who married on December 16, 2021, had previously signed a prenuptial agreement shortly before their wedding, though its details remain confidential. Despite the divorce filing on April 11, Todd and Alexia’s relationship has been under scrutiny, as Alexia expressed her shock and heartbreak over the separation.
They initially postponed their wedding due to COVID-19 restrictions, and their ceremony featured significant moments, including the appearance of a sea turtle. Although more details about the split have emerged, Alexia continues to state she is still married and is not currently dating anyone. In a recent podcast appearance, she shared insights about their situation, mentioning that they are attempting to work on their marriage despite the divorce proceedings. Alexia and Todd began dating in 2017 after her previous marriage ended in 2016. Many fans remain curious about the circumstances that led to their divorce after almost three years together.
Did Mariah Carey Have A Prenuptial Agreement?
Mariah Carey, 46, is reportedly demanding $50 million from her estranged fiancé, James Packer, correlating to an amount agreed upon in their unsigned prenup in the event of a divorce. In a February email obtained by TMZ, Packer expressed frustration at his legal team's delays in processing the relevant documents. Despite internet speculation, it's confirmed that Carey did have a prenuptial agreement when she married Nick Cannon; they managed to work out a property settlement agreement prior to their divorce in 2014 and included a confidentiality clause to protect the details of their finances.
Carey and Cannon have twin children born in 2011, and they both disclosed their incomes during their divorce proceedings. Although Carey is pushing for $50 million from Packer, questions linger about her actual entitlements, as their prenup was never executed, rendering it invalid. The agreement was rumored to stipulate $6 million for each year of marriage, equating to about $151, 385 weekly. Ultimately, whether Packer and Carey’s prenup was finalized remains debated among insiders, but the contentious nature of their negotiations hints at a complicated end to their relationship before it began.
Does Bill Gates Have A Prenuptial Agreement?
Bill and Melinda Gates did not sign a prenuptial agreement before their 1994 marriage, despite Bill's significant wealth at the time. Instead, they prepared a separation agreement prior to announcing their divorce on May 3, 2021. Divorce documents indicate that their marriage is "irretrievably broken," and Melinda is not requesting spousal support. The separation agreement details how they will divide their assets upon separation. Notably, there is no mention of a prenup in the legal documents, confirming speculation about their lack of one.
This separation contract serves to dictate the financial aspects of their split rather than the protections typically offered by a prenup, which safeguards assets brought into the marriage. Bill and Melinda have spent decades together managing the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which has contributed billions to charitable causes. The revelation that the couple, despite their substantial wealth, chose not to have a prenup raises discussions about their mutual trust during their 27 years of marriage. Ultimately, while the couple's divorce has attracted attention, it is clear that no prenuptial agreement existed, only a separation contract outlining the division of their considerable wealth.
Is Signing A Prenup Biblical?
The Bible does not specifically mention prenuptial agreements, but it provides principles about marriage that suggest such agreements may not align with its teachings. Marriage is presented as a sacred union where a husband and wife become one flesh, implying total trust and commitment. While prenups are modern legal constructs and the scriptures do not address them directly, they can reflect a lack of trust or commitment, which contradicts the biblical view of marriage as a lifelong covenant.
Some argue that prenuptial agreements may be justified under certain circumstances, especially to protect assets, but there is a concern that they can foster mistrust. The biblical stance emphasizes shared responsibilities in marriage, suggesting that financial matters should be fully integrated between partners. While the modern legal framework for prenups is increasingly common—many single individuals express intentions to request one—Christian couples might find that reliance on prenuptial agreements undermines the foundational trust and unity essential in a biblical marriage.
Overall, while prenuptials aren't condemned, they are often viewed within the Christian community as unnecessary, as the underlying motives for such agreements may not align with the ideals of faithful partnership. Ultimately, each couple must evaluate their reasons for considering a prenup in light of biblical principles and personal convictions.

Todd's decision to file for divorce marks a significant moment for the couple, who exchanged vows on December 16, 2021, after several years of dating. Currently, both parties have agreed to postpone their divorce proceedings for 90 days as they navigate this transition.

Although the complete details of the divorce settlement remain undisclosed, Lisa has discussed the agreements on the show. They had previously entered into a prenuptial agreement, which Lenny acknowledged in court documents.
The couple, who married in 2009, had begun divorce proceedings in May 2022 after Lenny was spotted at a nightclub, leading to speculation about their relationship. A judge recently ruled in favor of Lisa, solidifying her legal standing in their ongoing dispute. In June 2023, they reached a marital settlement agreement and later established a parenting plan in November 2024. Did Katy Perry And Russell Brand Have A Prenup?
Katy Perry and Russell Brand's marriage, which lasted just 14 months, ended in December 2011, and they reportedly did not have a prenuptial agreement in place. This absence of a prenup would have entitled Brand to half of Perry's earnings made during their marriage, which totaled approximately $44 million. Interestingly, despite this entitlement, Brand is not seeking any financial compensation from Perry following their divorce.
Perry signed the court papers with a smiley face in her last name, highlighting a lighter moment amidst the divorce proceedings. Brand had filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences," and sources revealed that their separation was unexpectedly communicated to Perry via text message on New Year's Eve.
Despite the lack of a prenup, Perry expressed trust in Brand, believing he would not take advantage of her wealth if their marriage ended. Brand, meanwhile, moved on and is now married to author Laura Gallacher, with whom he has three children. Perry has since begun a relationship with Orlando Bloom. Reflecting on their marriage years later, Perry noted that she had not spoken to Brand since their split, and Brand himself acknowledged in a 2012 interview that while he loved Perry, the relationship was ultimately unworkable. Their brief relationship became a subject of discussion, especially regarding the absence of a prenup and what it could have meant financially.

As a divorced gal setting forth into my second marriage, I agree that a Prenup is as important, in fact more important, than any other wedding detail. Divorce is not a cake walk. You can loose EVERYTHING if the person wants to take it! A woman should put as much thought into the legal side of marriage as she does picking her dress & trust me that is a fucking task! On happy days you think ‘we don’t need that he luahs me’. But on those bad days, the blow outs, you realize.. shit I better be careful just in case. If you never divorce then great, but if you do, then it won’t be the end of your world. Just your marriage.
Why are people tripping about the house? Newsflash: all the $ you make and the assets you buy with that money before you get married are your separate property. Why should your spouse get a piece of that? Especially if they had no hand in helping create the wealth? Kandi is making sure that her assets go to her DAUGHTER and not to a grown-ass man who already has a job and can take care of himself. And stop tripping about him paying the taxes and utilities…..That’s money down the drain that the couple would have to pay regardless. Kandi has already made a significant financial contribution to the marriage by paying for the house outright…. That’s a huge mortgage that neither of them has to worry about.
kandi has every right to protect herself. thus far todd keep saying whats fair, I would like to know what he considers fair. people who are divorcing usually one person leaves the house very soon its called a separation…..didn’t quite understand all the fuss about the 30dys. he spent his savings cause kandi didn’t want him to work due to travel. he made that choice why should she be responsible for that. todd is definitely looking out for himself and looking for kandi to pay him something WHEN things don’t work out, that was very evident. he like if you die I gonna get something not nothing lololol she better be careful
Do I watch too much Lifetime or should you question any man who wants to take out “if you die he gets nothing” out of a prenup? I personally would run if a man wanted to take that out of the prenup. I also think any man who wants to live with me beyond 30 days and we are no longer together is a freeloader. I think Kandi is desperate and can do better, but all this is just my opinion.
At the end of the day it’s THEIR marriage and obviously he’s ok with it whether it was on camera or not their married and clearly in love. Don’t see why outsiders would be bothered by somebody else’s situation as if it’s affecting their lives in any way shape or form. Wish them the best and tend to ur own life lol
Don’t know why this would come as a surprise to anyone Kandi’s smart and she’s a business woman she bought that house pre Todd why would he or should he have a right to it should they split up we’re not talking the average 2 up 2 down here it’s a multi million pound property although I don’t like prenuptial agreements as a rule in the celebrity world you need to protect yourself from all angles you just never know trust isn’t something that comes easy when your at Kandi’s level but it’s a big price to pay for fame if you ask me from lovers to friends to agents to employees there would always be that seed of doubt
She should protect herself but damn!!! If she died he wouldn’t get a dime. If you loved him and you passed away why would you want him to get nothing??? She’s a smart business woman but also cheap! You can’t take it to the grave with you. I hope Todd got a better deal than what they aired on the show. She’s not all of that to be putting up with that nonsense and to add the monster in law from hell!!! He can do better than her. She would wear anything as long as it’s free!! (No shade Rico, you’re fab!!) Todd, Good luck with your prison sentence and Momma Tucker, you rock!!!! Put ratchet Grandma in her place. She needs to stop counting Kandi’s money! She counts it on her own! I’m not feeling Kandi after that prenup. She should just be alone to count her coins! Because she doesn’t spend a dime on clothes or hair. She’s the corniest housewife in the show next to Cynthia! So glad she pulled her nose out of Nenes behind. That was a real “friends contract! Now Nene can breathe!
