In the show, Angela died from swimming less than 20 minutes after having eaten. The series poignantly addressed Fisher's passing in an episode that featured Peter giving a heartfelt eulogy for Angela, serving as a tribute to Fisher herself. Why Does Lois Voice Change In Family Guy?
Lois Griffin's voice has evolved over time, originally characterized by a slower pitch, as voiced by actress Alex Borstein. Seth MacFarlane, the creator of "Family Guy," requested Borstein to speed up and raise the pitch of Lois's voice. This change contributed to the more upbeat voice we recognize in later seasons. Borstein's portrayal of Lois has been consistent since the show's inception, with the character first appearing in the episode "Death Has a Shadow." Although Lois was initially portrayed as a typical television wife and mother, her voice shift represents the character's evolution alongside the show's broader changes.
Borstein's work extends beyond just Lois; she has a diverse career in improv and stand-up. The animated series, despite facing numerous cancellations, has become a staple of television, reaching significant milestones like its 250th episode. Alongside Lois, other characters, including Brian and Peter Griffin, have undergone noticeable voice changes over the years, affecting viewers' experiences with the show.
Critics argue that these changes, along with character developments, have diluted some of the original charm of "Family Guy," leaving newer portrayals feeling less authentic or impactful. Ultimately, Lois remains an iconic character, continuously evolving with the series.

I have a question kinda off topic. When Joe told Peter that Kevin died in Iraq, when the hell did Kevin even leave for Iraq? Was that an episode, or just some random story the writers threw in? I’ve seen every episode of Family Guy at least once and I don’t remember them dedicating an episode to Kevin, but I just want to be sure. I know Kevin comes back in the Thanksgiving episode though. I wish they never added that “Kevin died” story, though. Joe already puts up with enough crap as it is. He’s handicapped, and that’s hard enough. On top of that, he has a wife who doesn’t love or respect him. Hell, she doesn’t even see him as a man. And she’s openly admitted that she wants Joe dead and that she has had an affair with random guys on the internet.Bonnie is the worst character in the show. Worse than Brian.
