Kristen, Did You Quit The Royal Family?

4.0 rating based on 177 ratings

Kristen Stewart, who plays Princess Diana in the upcoming biopic Spencer, has admitted that she was educated on the royal family by the two child actors playing William and Harry. The film is set to release in November. Stewart, who is the first choreographer teaching at the Royal Family Europe Winter Camp, hosted in Sofia Bulgaria, from September 29 to October 1, admits that she was unaware that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are now California residents.

Kristen Dodgen, a talented dancer-influencer hailing from New Zealand, is part of the all-female hip-hop dance crew ReQuest, which is one of seven crews within the Royal Family. When asked about the decision of Prince William and Prince Harry to leave the royal family and the rota system, Stewart said she could “see where they would be fed up” with the way things were.

Despite her role in Spencer, Stewart was not familiar with the royal family’s history. She expressed her anxiety about portraying Princess Diana in the film and couldn’t open her mouth for two weeks before shooting. Many other OGs dancers in the Royal Family, including Stewart and Ling, have left RF, but they do work with them on a project basis sometimes.

Kristen and Ling are still members of the Royal Family Dance Crew, and their journey within the dance community began in 2011. Their obsession with the royals began when they watched Prince Charles and Lady Diana walk down the aisle as a little girl. They have worked with prestigious all-girl dance crew ReQuest and have been involved in numerous projects, including destroying Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Oprah interview.

How Many Nannies Does The Royal Family Have?

The royal family typically employs one royal nanny to care for their children, even when they have multiple offspring, like Prince William and Catherine. Their full-time nanny, Maria Borrallo, looks after Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, who was welcomed into the family recently. Although parental involvement has increased, royal nannies historically served as primary caregivers, providing essential love and support during childhood.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's experience with nannies was different; they reportedly dismissed their night nurse early on and preferred not to have a live-in nanny. In contrast, Borrallo, while influential in the children's upbringing, will not reside with the Cambridges in their new home in Windsor. The British royal family has a long tradition of employing nannies, with many trained at Norland College, which has a prestigious reputation. These nannies have played a vital role in shaping the emotional wellbeing of future royals.

Nannying within royal households has evolved, but the importance of nurturing figures remains constant, as evidenced by various royal families employing multiple nannies for their children while adhering to specific guidelines for royal care.
