Your cow is gorgeous. The rabbits are too, here in Queensland Australia it is illegal to keep them as pets as they are classed as feral pets. I love living vicariously through your eyes seeing the snow and living in a beautiful home and the state of Alaska. In winter here where I live the lowest temperature that I have experienced is -4 degrees Celsius the temperature at 7am is 25.8 with 81% humidity. Probably the best place to sort of match Alaska in terms of climate would be Tasmania our smallest state. I have never seen real snow but once in a while a town down near the border of Queensland and New South Wales called Stanthorpe gets snow so one day if I’m lucky not to have work I might get to drive a couple of hours to see it. Hi Jessica, Aaron and sweet family! Wow, the moose are beautiful…but I’m sure they could be dangerous. We have bears, coyotes and wolves that we have and an occasional panther. I hope Aaron gets the warm clothes he needs. Aaron is so funny, great sense of humor. I glad you both had a wonderful day together and grandma was well taken care of. Dinner looked really good. I just ate homemade egg rolls that I freeze and then cook when I want a couple for a meal, so good. Have a very blessed day everyone!
Every year after Christmas I would go to Kmart Walmart and keep an eye on the outside decorations, I found a big Tiger and the group for 75 % off. We used to get a 8 foot live tree and get it flocked blue with a little white over the top, once it was purple my daughters favorite color but they got to experience $180.00. We bought a 8 foot per-lighted, one piece tree. It lives in the 8 1\\2″ box it has not seen a Christmas since it was taken down in July of 2009.The year my husband passed away. It seems like living in Alaska costs a lot more than living in a big city and I don’t mean the cost of food, because the prices are similar, but all the Equipment, the constant maintenance on the house, gasoline, cars, repairs in and outside the house, etc……and the freezing temp doesn’t add to anyone sanity. Educate us what is thrill living in Akaska, not to be able to save or live comfortably somewhere else.
