5.0 rating based on 88 ratings

Sharing with a member of your Friends and Family plan is the same as sharing with any other Dashlane customer. You can securely share individual items or all of your Dashlane data, but only when you choose. As the admin of a Friends and Family plan, you can invite new members using the link in your Friends and Family Dashboard, which is only available in the Dashlane web app. Other members of your plan don’t have access to the sharing link. Simply send each member a sharing link from the Family Dashboard. They will keep all the data they’ve already saved in their individual accounts when they join the family plan. If they have a Premium plan, their billing will be paused.

To share your passwords with your family using Dashlane, you need to connect your account to one of two membership tiers. Once you’re part of a Dashlane family plan, you can use the Yes, every user’s vault is completely independent and no other members of the plan can see their passwords. There is no “family group vault” (but any member can share passwords with other). Dashlane’s password manager includes a secure password sharing portal that allows you to transfer credentials to friends or family members securely without increasing your vulnerability.

All Dashlane Business users get a Dashlane Friends and Family plan for free.
