In our current situation, that means that Prince George, the eldest son of Prince William, automatically became a prince, but not Archie, even though they are both great-grandsons of the Queen. It was not personal and both of them know this.
I used to have a bit of time for Meghan, but she’s lost me here….I mean come on, you’re an intelligent woman, the British Royal family are not your normal family – everyone knows that!! Two thoughts on this from me. One, it’s only a big issue because they make it one. ‘Couple fall out with in-laws’ – hardly groundbreaking stuff or unheard-of phenomena. If they wished for public attention to be drawn away from the issue and themselves (be “left alone”), why are they on Oprah?! Secondly, it’s really hard to feel sorry for two people who can leave their (literal) palace in England and move to a huge estate in the US, (and have absolutely NO money worries at all), when I’m worried about whether I’ll have a job next month, where myself and my family might be living, and so on.

Markles lack of protocol is ridiculous. Harry should have known and corrected her. Only the monarchs children and grand children can be prince or princess. When Charles became monarch Archie and Lilibet became entitled. As a direct heir to the thrown Williams children are all entitled as will George. Archie and Lilibet children will never be titled. If every child born into the royals, got the title Prince and Princesses, their children get it, and then all their grandchildren, and so on and on, start counting, how many do we end up with? I come from Denmark, but I live in the UK, it is the same in Denmark and many other royal houses, it is only the child of the one in line to the crown, who gets the title, Prince or Princesses. It has nothing to do with anything about Harry and Meghan, it is not a racist act, (which makes me feel ridiculous just write out) that’s just the way it is.
The part about not receiving a prince title or security being against protocol is just not true. Archie is the queens GREAT grandchild, great-grandchildren have never received titles or public funded sercuity, unless they are the future monarch children (i.e Williams children). I feel so heartbroken for Harry. No matter what’s happened, it’s an awful feeling to be ostracised. At the King’s coronation, I’m sure he would’ve had a stab through the heart and a feeling of regret as to how things have worked out. It wouldn’t be called racist if a question like ‘do you think they’ll have red hair like their father or black hair like their mother?’ or ‘will they take after their father and have blue eyes or will they have brown eyes like their mother?’….I wasn’t there I suppose, so I could very well be wrong.
I think this interview should have never happen. They should have never done this interview. Because the truth involves everyone, not just Meghan and harry. I think this should have been handled behind the scenes. And why did Meghan mention the race situation but Harry decline to further explain. That part is a bit disturbing and disconnected.
Meghan felt suicidal but her husband, a crusader for mental health, was too ashamed to ask anyone within the Royal Family for help….Ashamed????? Harry, if your wife collapsed and lost consciousness would you be too ashamed to call for an ambulance? Never mind asking you should have demanded help for your wife and if that failed you should have organised help yourself by contacting your GP or a private consultant psychiatrist yourself. Everyone in the UK, even Royals, have a GP.
Just wow. I don’t dislike either of them because I don’t know them. So why do I feel like they’re absolutely milking every situation to seem like victims? I don’t believe a word either of them say. I dunno why. I just don’t feel they’re being genuine. They both act like they know how to play with the public. That interview sounded so scripted. I understand maybe it was to a degree. They want to be left alone but they’re speaking on tv? The royal family are racist but they won’t say who? I dunno, something feels fishy. I don’t trust either of them.
Meghan, I sympathize with your experiences, but in this interview you are not very elegant at all. When you accepted Prince Harry as your husband, shouldn’t you already know the consequences and responsibilities of marrying a prince? Then when you can’t accept it or live it you run away from it all and then blame other people / parties? Your actions are not wise at all, don’t you think it will impact Prince Harry, he has a very close relationship with his brother Prince William, 2 brothers who went through sad and hard times who had to lose their mother tragically. After this interview their brotherhood might be destroyed. Do you think about it. ?
I can’t believe he can do that to his own family…he just met her and he believes and takes her side more than his own family that raised and loved him…i can relate to the royals on how they felt..cause our family went thru it to cause one of my brothers married a narcissist just like Megan..no offense but what she has been doing and said reminds me of that btich and she manipulates my brother, destroyed our bond with him, especially my dad and him and some of us siblings…she acts innocent infront of ppl and the social media and ppl believed her..but what they don’t know is that she was the monster and a wannabe just like Megan…she even named her second child after our dad who is not happy and doesn’t want to do anything abt him anymore …and all because of her…it’s hard thinking abt it and he has to figure it out and see what and who his wife really is…🤦🏻♀️..so yeah, I dislike her cause she reminds me of those ppl too..poor Harry he’s so weak..just like my brother…🤦🏻♀️ 😏✌🏽✌🏽
I have stayed as far away as I can from these people but I want to know WHO is asking about the color of the baby when Harry is pink, and Megan is day 3 of me in the sun without sunscreen. What exactly color baby they think is going to come out! I don’t believe for a second that anyone said anything like this to him.

Harry won’t allow anything bad to happen to his family . He was traumatized by her mom’s experiences. I find the courage in him and I admire these two for choosing their peace more than the tiaras, the title and the tax. They’,re not the only one who did this, learn from the experiences of the abdicated King, Fergie and the other royals who chose their privacy and happiness more than anything else.
At the time of this interview Queen Elizabeth was the monarch therefore any children of H and M would NOT have been entitled to the styling of Prince or Princess. William’s children were an exception bc he is the heir to the throne. How sad that this was lied about in this interview. It only served to stoke the fires of racism. Ironically now that Charles is King, guess what? Both H & M’s children have received the aforementioned styling. Harry simply married the wrong person and that fact has devastated his life.
Maybe Oprah should have done her homework about titles etc…or maybe Megan should have…..When he says he did not know how disfunctional things were until Megan showed him, instead if turning to Harry and holding his hand, she turns to Oprah with this smug look, at that point I had enough…seriously he had a public forum with William and Catherine on line…
