If you have a copy of the stereo version then stick on a pair oh headphones and listen to not only a beautiful song but possibly one of the best use of stereo effects I’ve ever heard. The mix between left right and centre is absolutely stunning and had it been done by say the Beatles or Pink Floyd would be hailed as simply a fantastic piece of electronic genius. Bravo to the producer and artistes!
Albert Hammond is a fantastic clever musician,,this song I’m not sure would be allowed now, school girls dating, daughters mating,I’m not sure that’s right, now,but in late 60s no one thought any different, but the biggest thing about this song is how big a star is Albert Hammond the man is a genius, and to think he started on this song.
