William P. Barr, an American attorney who served as United States Attorney General in the administration of President George H. W. Bush, is currently serving as President Donald Trump’s attorney general nominee. Barr married his wife, Christine, in 1973 before working at the CIA. They have at least one child, Mary Daly, who heads the Department of Justice’s opioid enforcement and prevention efforts. Barr joins John Crittenden as one of only two people in U. S. history to serve twice as Attorney General.
From 1982 to 1983, Barr worked on the Domestic Policy Council during U. S. President Ronald Reagan’s first term in office. In 1989, he left private practice to join the U. S. Justice Department. U. S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts administered the oath of office. Barr’s new book, “One Damn”, explores his early days and views on the role.
With the completion of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference into the 2016 presidential election, attention now shifts to Attorney General William Barr. The Department of Justice ended up conducting no formal investigations of voter fraud, but as part of Barr’s informal review, he asked the U. S. Attorney in Michigan about it. Barr’s time leading the U. S. Justice Department ended with a combination of vocal obeisance and support for efforts to restrict access to abortion and secure taxpayer funding for Christian schools.
The Barr family business is breaking up, with Barr’s son-in-law Tyler McGaughey leaving his job in the Justice Department to avoid thorny work situations. Mary Daly’s husband works in the Justice Department’s national security division, and Barr’s daughter Mary Daly is a senior Justice Department official on opioids.
Borr received his AB in government from Columbia University in 1971 and his MA in government from Rutgers scholar Elie Honig.

Until there are SERIOUS consequences for breaking the law, these hearings are a slap on the wrist. No one will ever be afraid to break the law, unless there are long prison sentences given to those who do so. In my humble opinion, I believe that this will continue to happen as the norm. It is not enough to just step down, or to resign from your post. When you break the law, you should go to prison like any common person in this country does.
Impeach Barr, then Trump! Way to go Kamala! You just moved up a notch in my primary decision. This is what I want to see from my next president. No more BS, call them out aggressively! This is what needs to be done. No more petty politics. No more being scared of losing potential voters, just follow the existing fucking laws! No more corruption!
Sometimes the Chinese way of Judiciary Committee questioning is much better, because if they cannot give straightforward answers without deflecting and showing contempt to the panel then their testimony is forfeited and depending on the said questioning/hearing of the crime against the state they’re imprisoned for life or executed immediately…
