4.0 rating based on 88 ratings

Black Myth: Wukong is an action RPG rooted in Chinese mythology, featuring 36 trophies on PS5 and 81 achievements on PC. The A Family Finished Trophy is obtained by defeating The Scorpionlord before beating The Duskveil in Chapter 4. To unlock the trophy, players must defeat the minor amourworm, Webbed Hollow: Cliff of Oblivion, backtrack down the hill, defeat the worms in that area, and Fungiling.

The game offers 36 trophies on PS5 and 81 achievements on PC. On PS5, there is one Platinum trophy, four Gold, nine Silver, and 22 Bronze trophies, with three exclusive to the PS5. The full achievement list includes 81 achievements, including A Curious Collection, A Duel of Destiny, and A Family Finished.

Achievements like A Family Finished are only available on PC and can be missed if players fight The Duskveil boss before The Scorpionlord. To unlock the trophy, players must give each under boss 3 districts each and complete their side missions. Some players have reported issues with certain trophies being glitched, and players have tried killing each NPC once and allowing them to resurrect until they get the trophy.

It is suggested that players check if they have completed all necessary tasks to unlock the trophy. The IO is investigating these issues and will roll out a fix in a patch. The game offers plenty of exploration and unlockable achievements, including A Family Finished, A Curious Collection, and A Duel of Destiny.

What To Do If A Trophy Is Glitched?

Restarting the game can help when dealing with glitched trophies, as the game may crash unexpectedly. Players have reported issues with trophies not unlocking either at the right moment or at all, especially on PS4. Trophies often stop popping when disconnecting from the internet, opening the PS menu, or placing the console in rest mode. A specific trophy requires unlocking 50 skills in the DLC, but it seems glitched as all skills are unlocked. Players have noted numerous glitched trophies, including from games like Quantum of Solace and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.

Some suggest backing up save files, replaying from new files, or even abandoning the game until developers fix the issues. Various tips have emerged: disconnecting the internet, restarting devices, or checking trophy lists offline might help confirm achievements. Recent patches have resolved some glitches, but significant issues persist, particularly with specific trophies, like those in Saints Row 4.

Interventions include reporting problems through gaming platforms, playing through campaigns with no chapter select, and ensuring all requirements are met for trophy unlocks. Community support through forums is encouraged for finding solutions to recurring trophy problems.

How Do I Reset My Trophies

How Do I Reset My Trophies?

To delete trophies and reset achievements, you can use the Steam Client Console and the Steam Achievement Manager. For Steam games, open the console, find your game on the SteamDB webpage, and download the Steam Achievement Manager zip file. Extract it, run SAM. Picker. exe, then double-click on the game to access its achievements menu. Uncheck achievements to reset them. Unlike Steam, PlayStation does not allow trophy resets. You can delete trophy lists for games where no trophies have been earned, but trophies are tied to your account indefinitely.

If trophies have been earned, the only option is to hide them or create a new account altogether. If you suspect trophies are glitched or want to replay a game from scratch, you’ll need to start anew since trophies cannot be deleted or reset. For PS5 users encountering trophy issues, signing out of your PSN account, rebooting, and signing back can help. Overall, the options for managing achievements differ significantly between platforms.

Why Are My PSN Trophies Not Working?

To resolve the issue of PlayStation 5 (PS5) trophies not displaying, start by rebooting the console into safe mode and selecting the option to rebuild the database. This may take time, but it should display your trophies correctly locally afterward. Manually syncing your trophies will then ensure they appear on the mobile app. Recently, some users have experienced troubles with trophies disappearing after being offline. When reconnecting to the internet, trophies earned offline may not show, nor will there be any sync options available.

To troubleshoot, ensure your internet connection is stable, as PS5 requires consistent access to the PlayStation Network (PSN) for trophy visibility. If trophies aren’t loading, check your trophy settings and progress updates, as syncing issues often occur. Users have reported problems with trophy percentages not tracking correctly, and trophies may not appear if the account is hidden or if the proper earning conditions aren’t met.

In some cases, you may need to manually refresh your PSNP account to update the trophy data. Always verify that you completed the requirements for trophy unlocks, and consider possible networking issues that might delay trophy recognition. For persistent problems, refer to online resources that provide additional guidance.

Can You Fix A Broken Trophy?

Don’t despair if your trophy is damaged; expert restoration services can repair it using Venetian glass replacement parts. If a wing or arm is broken, high-tech adhesives can securely reattach the pieces. Trophies often become worn, scratched, or faded over time, but skilled craftsmen can restore them to their original beauty. This may involve repainting, polishing, or replacing missing parts, including bases and plaques. While various restoration methods exist, challenges arise with pot metal trophies, particularly those made after 1960, which may be irreparable due to the solder’s inability to bond with the metal.

However, many older trophies can still be repaired successfully, especially at vulnerable points like ankles or legs. Is There An Autosave In Black Myth Wukong Trophy?

Black Myth: Wukong is an action hack-and-slash game similar to God of War, featuring a fixed difficulty level equivalent to the normal mode of that title. The game does not support manual saving; instead, it utilizes an autosave feature that triggers at specific checkpoints—typically when players enter a new area, defeat a significant enemy, or unlock a Keeper's Shrine. As a result, players need to explore thoroughly to find equipment and level up efficiently.

There is only one autosave slot available, limiting backups. Players must be cautious before starting New Game Plus (NG+) as it is necessary for collecting certain items and can be initiated by choosing "Enter a New Cycle."

The game includes 36 trophies for PS5 players (including 1 Platinum, 4 Gold, 9 Silver, and 22 Bronze) and 81 achievements on PC, some exclusive to the PS5. Many trophies are linked to the main storyline and are unmissable, while others require specific actions related to major plot developments. Players are encouraged to aim for 100% completion, as this approach will naturally help unlock most trophies throughout the game.

In addition, there are unique collectibles called seeds, totaling fifteen, which are necessary to earn specific trophies. The game's autosave feature is described as reliable, often saving after significant player progress or changes, ensuring a seamless gaming experience even in challenging moments.

Why Are My Achievements Not Popping

Why Are My Achievements Not Popping?

If your Xbox achievements aren’t popping up, common reasons could be internet connectivity issues, disabled achievement sync settings, Xbox Live outages, or needing to restart your console or game. Many users, including those playing AC: Valhalla on Xbox Series X, report that achievements unlock but don’t display notifications on screen, instead showing as alerts in the guide menu. This issue seems widespread and might be linked to recent updates affecting the Xbox Series consoles.

Achievements may not appear immediately after unlocking as the Xbox service needs to validate them, potentially causing delays. To troubleshoot, you can adjust your notification settings: go to "Notifications," disable, then re-enable the "Notify me when I unlock achievements" option. If that doesn’t work, try closing and restarting your game, or hard resetting your console. Also, ensure that you’re connected to the Xbox network, check the Xbox service status, and maintain a stable internet connection. If issues persist, it might take a few hours for achievements to finally appear on screen, so don’t worry—many have experienced this and found solutions by following these steps.

Should I Throw Away Old Trophies

Should I Throw Away Old Trophies?

Recycling or donating old trophies is a great way to declutter while being eco-friendly. The Nationwide Trophy Recycling Program, a nonprofit based in Wisconsin, refurbishes old trophies into new ones for donation. Donation centers like Goodwill and the Salvation Army accept trophies, as they can be repurposed or sold. For those who wish to keep memories, framing medals with relevant photos is an option.

If you’re connected to your trophies but don't want to keep them, consider removing the plaque to preserve the memory while discarding the rest. Experts suggest that minimalism should not force you to throw away items with sentimental value. If you’re not crafty and don’t want to trash them, donate them to local organizations or turn trophies into props, particularly in theater settings.

For those with trophies that hold little significance, disposal is an option, but most are not recyclable. However, some can be sent to recycling plants where they are processed for new manufacturing. The key is finding a suitable way to declutter while either recycling or donating them responsibly. You might also consider photographing trophies before donating, allowing you to keep memories intact without physical clutter.

  • If you’re playing with the newest patch (Version 1.12), the only way to get the glitched trophies is you must do it all in ‘one sitting’. Every time you shut off your console or quit to the main menu, your counter resets for how many racket bosses you flipped/killed so the trophy won’t unlock. The good news is you can utilize rest mode on your console so you don’t actually have to do it all in one sitting, pause the game after you flip a few districts and put it on rest mode. Of course you still run the risk of the game crashing or a power outage which would void the run and you’d have to start over. From my experience playing it on PS5 is the game only crashed once on me because PSN went down while I was playing and I was still online at the time. Game immediately crashed but luckily it happened about a half hour after I already flipped the last racket boss so I was still good and already unlocked the trophy. When I did the kill run, I played completely offline. This time the game didn’t crash on me but I got an infinite cutscene that I couldn’t get out of and completely broke the game and obviously voided that run. Again, I got lucky and this game-breaking bug happened early in the game during the prologue so I only lost about a half hour. The 2nd attempt went perfectly and I now have the platinum. Once you unlock the final 3 districts (French Ward, Southdowns, and Frisco Fields), don’t do the final missions for any district until you’ve completed the racket bosses for the other 2.

  • I’m on Xbox 1 original back from original launch and I tried this method deleted my save from everywhere including the game and I can confirm that it does in fact work the glitch itself is in those updates once you have completed your requirements (always a little better to do a extra 20 for shh,shh.4 for wrecker.etc) go back online wait for the updates to start about 5-10 seconds your achievements should start to unlock it worked for me I’m also going to do it again for trap game strong no loose ends and pop pop.

  • Thankyou for the article man it was my fifth playthrough and how I did no loose ends was a single playthrough played offline and if I needed to go sleep just enter rest mode on ps and it puts your game in suspend mode and when you need to continue you will be back where you left of so yeah got my platinum

  • I only started playing it again a week or so ago before it became the remastered version (I downloaded the game when it was free online a few years ago) I’ve unlocked every trophy except new boss. I’m halfway through the game and think I’ll delete the save and play offline, do you recon it’s worth deleting the game as well- so done with this game 3rd playthrough !

  • I will have one more go, I have just reinstalled the game After I deleted the saved profiles of the lot. If I play offline now and all the way through and if a error kicks me out of it, or does not work, stay posted because the next article on my website will be seeing the game getting roasted by an oxy torch. Not joking I am so over this shit.

  • I was able to get no loose ends within one straight play session, couple deaths, 1 reload of checkpoint. I started by doing the delete save game data, deleting all dlc and offline. This was all on series x and i was very worried that i would be wasting time 🙃 but it all turned out good as soon as i turned the internet back on. For some reason i did not have quick resume for my mafia 3

  • Hopefully someone will see this quickly.. I’m trying to get both flip 16 bosses and kill all bosses and from my understanding it’s just play offline, and do it all in “one sitting” but I’m playing this on PS5 and when people say the game “crashing” does that mean the game quitting out completely? Because when I killed the bosses in my last play through I would get the broken camera glitch and have to reload my save. Is reloading saves allowed?

  • Just finished my second playthrough flipped all my first time NO Trophy then I played offline fully 2nd playthrough KILLED everyone and again NO trophy WTF this is a 4 year old game how are these not fixed bu now … I guess my only option now is to play the game a 3rd and 4th time in one session each hopefully putting the ps4 in rest mode won’t mess with the progress

  • I’m playing mafia 3 and in order for me to reach platinum I have to play the game without dying or resetting my console but I can’t do that Cause game keeps crashing and I keep getting error code CE-34878-0 if anyone can help me I’d appreciate it I contacted Sony they told me to clean the inside of the ps4 from dust and I still keep getting that error code ):
