Do you know why the judge gave her life? I know why? Victim impact statement. She took no responsibility for the crime at all. She showed no remorse for the crime at all. She blame Jorge, his family, the criminal justice system, she was the only victim in this case and nobody else was. She is a true narcissist. A malignant narcissist at that. She kept repeating she was reading an edited version, and by the swiftness with which she turned the pages she read from, it gave me the impression that 80 percent of what she wanted to say was redacted, perhaps by her lawyer, who maybe hoped that this way he could prevent the maximum sentence to be given, by removing the most of the words that would appall the judge because of her ´notorious´ lack of remorse?
She really did cut off her nose turning down the plea deal. She couldve been out in less than 10. I have to say though, im so so so glad she didnt take it. Her victim deserved more. This was one of the most difficult victim impact statements to hear, because their loss is so great and they are clearly devastated. It was also one of the most difficult defendant statements to hear, because it was so ugly and spiteful, filled to the brim with self-pity and a total lack of empathy or accountability. So on Sarah’s side of the ledger there’s a Chaplian, a cell mate, a jail buddy, the psychologist who evaluated her for this case and a pen pal. With the exception of the psychologist*, all others stated how helpful Sarah is in doing chores or filling out forms. What’s missing is anyone who knew her prior to her incarceration, any family member or even a distant relative who could speak to her character or even someone she considered a friend. In her testimony/letter Sarah read today, she mentioned the concern of neighbours and friends and yet none of them spoke today. Their silence speaks more than any words of support could’ve. Jorge was loved by many and if your words today are a reflection of your love for Jorge then it’s clear how toxic your love is for Jorge and you’ve done his memory a great disservice. * the psychologist had only a professional relationship, she did 8 interviews with Sarah. To put this into perspective, she spent approximately 8 to 16 hours of actual time with Sarah and a large part would be administering the different standardized test.

She’s literally being poetic in relation to herself. She belongs in prison for a long, long time. Poor Jorge’s family HAS TO LISTEN to the BS. SHE did not FORGIVE Jorge. Very pathetic when NOBODY ACTUALLY BELIEVES HER GARBAGE WORDS victimizing herself while demonizing Jorge. LIFE IN PRISON IF I HAD A VOTE. And….this is EDITED,? What a joke. She must have read the “Salvation Army Handbook” to find the words about helping others.
This is why defendants shouldn’t have a statement their act that got them jailed tried and convicted IS their statement. Furthermore i doubt if she had been stabbed that no arrest would have been made. Either they arrest someone or it’s self inflicted. This is 2024…and women do not have an excuse nor a reason to stay in a DV relationship but women choose to stay bc they don’t want to go to a shelter don’t want to start over on their own they don’t want to give up the house the car etc., there are resources but you need to make that choice of starting from zero. My mom did it back in the 80s no resources no family in this country didn’t speak the language didn’t even know how to drive was homeless no job but my mother is alive and she did it she lives in peace. Thats priceless.
I don’t think she regrets not taking the plea deal. I think she is completely at peace with doing life in prison, and the biggest part of that is due to her narcissism. This woman is so addicted to playing the victim that she gets high from fabricating lies, and stories in her head. It’s like she can’t live without trying to garner sympathy from those around her. I think she will love prison! Prison is exactly what she deserves, for the rest of her life! She is cruel, and I don’t think she will ever see the error of her ways.
She was not remorseful at all. I don’t believe she has this great love for Jorge or that she ever did. I didn’t see in any of the articles that she was ever actually scared of Jorge. Did they hurt each other? Yes, I guess they did. But was she scared of him? No, she was scolding him like a mama all the time! And she showed no remorse today. It’s all fake, but it was all about her, poor her.

The sisters statement was heartbreaking, this is one moment for all of you viewers court ect but to the family it’s forever 😢 using something simple like a suitcase is triggering to her is horrific I’m so sorry for your loss and to all who loved Jorge . Sarah deserves life without parole she should also have to pay damages for pain & suffering to family she should never to able to make obtain money for canteen in prison . Rest In Peace Jorge 🙏 p.s it’s very telling that the only people to speak on Sarah’s behalf were inmates themselves or worked in the prison church services lol 😂 she helped me with my case 😂 her “friend that called in speaking on Sarah helping disabled dogs in prison is laughable, that was a privilege in prison not something to brag about that women is nuts .. offering her a kidney lol she’s insane .
Wow, she didn’t hesitate to not only blame Jorge and his family. She went on a rant of how she forgives Jorge for all these things he supposedly did to her. Crazy when she was the one who stayed with him, drank with him, and “played hide and seek” with him which resulted in his demise…no shame for her part at all. I’m not surprised she is the poster child for narcissism! My word that was hard to listen to her complian incessantly about how she is the victim in all this!
