Obama’s main family growing up was his mother, his maternal grandparents, his Indonesian stepfather, and his half sister. He never spent more than four years in the United States, and his mother-in-law, Marian Robinson, and their daughters Sasha and Malia, along with First Lady Michelle Obama, have been a source of inspiration for many.
