Meri Brown has been living independently from Kody and the rest of the family since before their divorce announcement in January 2023. Are Meri And Robyn Still Friends?

Meri Brown's relationship with Robyn Brown and her ex-husband Kody Brown has significantly changed over the years. Meri shared that while she occasionally sees and communicates with them, her focus is on moving forward with her life. The friendship between Meri and Robyn, once depicted as harmonious on "Sister Wives," has become more complicated, leading to questions about their current bond. Though they were portrayed as close friends sharing a unique sisterhood, their interactions have diminished, primarily limited to filming or holidays. Robyn has previously advocated for Kody to reconcile with Meri, but Meri now admits that she no longer views Robyn as a sister wife, especially after leaving her 32-year marriage to Kody.

Currently, Meri appears to be more concentrated on her own life rather than her past ties. Recent updates suggest that she is distancing herself, having mentioned she has had months without contact from Robyn or Kody, solidifying her independent path. Despite past assertions of a supportive friendship, recent dynamics indicate a cooling in their relationship. Who Left The Brown Family?

Christine Brown, recognized as Wife No. 1 in the TLC reality series "Sister Wives," separated from Kody Brown after 25 years of marriage, officially announcing her divorce in November 2021. Following her departure, she relocated to Moab, Utah, taking their daughter Truely with her. The family dynamic shifted significantly after Christine's exit, with Janelle and Meri Brown subsequently leaving, ultimately reducing Kody's household to just himself and Robyn Brown in a monogamous setup.

Throughout the series, the Brown family experienced numerous relocations, initially moving from Utah to Las Vegas and later settling in Flagstaff, Arizona, which was intended as the site for their future homes but remains undeveloped.

As the show's narrative unfolded, Kody expressed that "recent developments" marked "the end of this family," highlighting the fractures within the marriages. The repercussions of these separations became noticeable, notably between Janelle’s children and Kody. Meri and Kody's relationship had already been strained since he married Robyn in 2014. Their relationship deteriorated after Kody's marriage to Robyn in 2014, leading to significant strain. Meri expressed a desire for an apology from Kody and needed accountability for his actions. Despite their history, Meri and Kody have maintained a plain but peaceful communication post-divorce. Meri's decision to leave became more evident after witnessing Christine's ability to exit the relationship, ultimately leading her to start anew.

  • These women have covered for this man for 30 years. He is mad that they started to actually not hold his manipulation behind the scenes. He lost it when she called him out for screaming at her “choose your loyalties or you won’t have a husband”. I am sure it’s not the first time he has treated them that way, but it’s the first time they didn’t hide it from the cameras.

  • Kody is such a narcissist and he DOES flip everything back on the other person. It’s “you, you, YOU” with him. It’s ALWAYS the other person, never him. The rare moments when he does apologize, it’s a backhanded apology. “I’m sorry for the way I acted but YOU….” Thank god these women wised up. Life is too short to spend it being miserable.

  • His narcissism was in overdrive during COVID and it showed. He likes acting like a victim when he is lazy with his kids. He acts like he didn’t chose this type of relationship and it comes with known burdens. I am so glad the three wives decided to live him with the only ones he he actually wanted, Sobyn Robyn. Narcissists deserve each other. When it was just 3 it worked because one was the legal one and the one who got them together, then Janelle was provider and helped them all money wise, then Christine was the support system, the mom of the family. Like it usually happens, when the mom has enough, the house breaks apart. Thank God they are all happy now.

  • Even his greeting: “are you going to give ME a hug?” vs. “Can I give you a hug?” Kody is always all about Kody. He’s become more patriarchal and narcissistic as his children have grown and are no longer adoring and deferential. Fundamentalist Mormons have a long history of discarding adult male offspring because they are competition for the elder men. Kody may have been a shinier modern version of polygamy but he’s increasingly showing the dogmatic extremism of this faith tradition.

  • Kody is one of the most arrogant narcissistic people I have encountered it’s always about him his wants his needs his desires he doesn’t care about anybody he cares about Robyn because Robyn is exactly like he is they both had an agenda and they have finally managed get what they both wanted!! The way these other wives were treated and the older kids is just both short of disgusting! Kody your obligation as a parent doesn’t drop as they get older it’s just different the problem is that you do not like that your older kids see through you and Robyn which I believe has more to do with being in the public then it really does as a real family you just don’t like that these strong individuals are all finally done

  • I no longer enjoy perusal this show It acually makes me angry to see Kody blame the wives for EVERYTHING that is wrong with him and Lil Mrs perfect Robyn playing the “Oh Poor ME” no one likes me card…(truly no one does) 😅Unless he gets new young wives and have Robyn be the new left out Mery…🙅🏻‍♀️ Not perusal this show anymore🙅🏻‍♀️

  • He wants a polygamist thing to work, he needs to cater to the womens needs and children not him self. It has nothing to-do with him but to give his wives respect as if they were only one, That’s it! Or it won’t work. I feel for you ladies ❤way more love when you find the one, Instead of someone who wants to Control.

  • The reason Janelle needs to be separate from him right now is so that she can keep her mind straight and the facts clear. I know from experience that a narcissist will keep your head spinning to where confusion sets in when you’re around them. Pretty soon they have you all twisted up and you can’t think straight! They like to turn the tables in an argument by gaslighting you. The goal is to make you don’t yourself until you’re just emotionally and mentally defeated. They win and according to them it was YOUR fault. She’s doing the right thing.

  • I’m sorry..what? “I didn’t overreact, but I think I went to the extreme with my emotions”. Well that’s a weird way if describing OVERREACTING Kody. Why won’t he just listen to her? The conversation between them cut with his confessional is extremely jarring. I don’t know what she thinks, I don’t understand, she thinks this (when it’s completely wrong). This man could frustrate buddha. Oh and finally: SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT WAS FULLY ONBOARD LIVING TOGETHER IN ONE HOUSE!! SHE WAS MORE FOR THE IDEA THAN EVEN HE WAS! ok now I’m done 😂

  • I see Kody’s point. The fact they all had their own houses is what led to a lot of this. He’s one man. He can’t possibly live in four homes at one time. So, I think I understand a lot better why Kody is so angry over this. Christine, Janelle, and Meri living completely separate home lives is the problem. And Kody just needed to put that forward in a more constructive way. You can’t have four families. You only get one. And all four of them would have had to make it work under the same roof.

  • When he says he wants plural marriage think about it he wants to prove a marriage cause he wants to have sex with other women he don’t want to have sex with the other 3 now he wants Robin and maybe 2 more numerals because what is the scenario of this if you still believe in privilege when the others go away one is left 1’s almost gone the other 1’s hanging on as the first wife what did hes gonna go get to 1 of the women because Robin told me she wanted to be and then Robin to be back where she where they are it’s like a vicious cycle I’m laughing cause I can’t stop laughing Ha haHa ha

  • And he doesn’t need a therapist because hes so psychologically controlling hes a narcissist and it’s so deep I need a donut for so long Women stopped realizing that it wasn’t this trance I thought it was going to have a fit But he is so not non God like this has nothing to do with God the commitment to God it just doesn’t actually is the opposite

  • Boy Cody acted like a child yelling at her and slamming the door as he walked out🎉 and he’s such a fake he wanted those children 18 of them and he’s turned his back on his older children and they’ve dismissed him as their father so keep it up Cody it’s sad what you have done not the ladies. And cody your the only one to blame

  • The thing is it’s all coming to a head now he loves Robin but he loves the others because they enabled him to treat them like for a match financially too now it’s breaking apart God never met man dad more than one woman that was man’s doing and you can never satisfy the flash and he can’t even satisfy no more than 1 woman

  • Puzzling to me is the first wife the very first wife keeps Chaplin mass she’s not dealing with reality I feel so sorry for her I think her brain is broken she needs to go to a psychiatrist go get some therapy and wake up because Cody don’t love her he didn’t pretty much told her matter what if I could did tell her and she won’t accept it so she’s walking around like a zombie because all she wants to do is have a physical relationship with him hes not having sex with nobody but Robin and if I was them say I could be relationship i’d be like when you’re going to have sex with me Ha ha ha ha ha or am I really rolling

  • I have been perusal this show for yrs . He was a good father from what I seen. But then when they all moved to my state an the cov 19 thing happened he said Fuck you to his kids an his other wife for Ribbon an there kids . He walked away so happy that this other wife moved on and picked their kids over him .
