What Happened To Julia On 'American Housewife'?
Julia Butters, a young actress known for her role as Anna-Kat Otto on ABC's "American Housewife," left the series after four seasons to explore new opportunities in film and television. Butters, who began her role at the age of nine, became a breakout star during her time on the show, which debuted in October 2016. Her departure in 2020 surprised fans as she had portrayed Anna-Kat since the show's inception. Although the official reason given for her exit was to "pursue other opportunities," it was evident that Butters had gained significant recognition and success, leading to her decision.
Following her exit, the production team smoothly transitioned and recast the character, bringing in 13-year-old Giselle Eisenberg from "Life in Pieces" to take over the role in Season 5. This shift marked a significant change for the series, which had already faced challenges with cast dynamics. American Housewife continues to evolve, now navigating this casting shake-up. Despite her departure, there seems to be no animosity between Butters and the show's producers, suggesting a respectful parting. Thus, while Butters' time as Anna-Kat has concluded, her future in the industry remains promising, with fans cheering for her next endeavors.

Julia left her ultra-Orthodox Jewish community in Monsey in 2013, reinventing herself as a fashion mogul and star of the reality series. Their legal struggles have become prominent, with Julia's assertion that her removal from Elite World was unauthorized. 📹 #RedefineParentingPodcast “OPEN LETTER FROM A TEEN” BY JULIA VETTLER
RedefineParentingPodcast When was the last time you talk to your teenage children? Can you still relate to or understand what …
My grandma was called by the Ellen show on her birthday and they talked to her live on the phone. It was so funny when Ellen had been talking to her for awhile and my Grandma June asked “who am I talking to again” and the crowd went nuts. So the show flew her out the very next week and she was on the show, they brought her out and talked for a while, funny stuff. During it they brought her out a keg of Jack Daniels as a gift, live on air. She returned to her little North Woods town in Wisconsin and was so happy to be able to live up a little micro celebrity shine. Well when she heard the local animal shelter was needing donations, she used the chance to donate the keg of Jack Daniels to the shelter for an auction to raise money. Well come to find out the show never intended on giving her the gift and my Grandma died feeling she lied to the animal shelter. Kinda sucks, she was my favorite relative, I want to make it right some day.
I found out my mother was dying from cancer. My girlfriend at the time, and I went to the Ellen show to smile and get my mind off things. Before the show we were instructed (as an audience) that no one was allowed to speak to “Ms Degeneres”. (Oooo, so untouchable, important.) As the show went on, we all applauded like good little minions when her staff held up signs instructing us to. ( I guess she didn’t want to leave it up to an actual earned applause.) We stood when told to stand, and danced when instructed to dance. All the while I’m thinking, what a joke. I actually thought this would be fun. I’d watched her show many times and was naive to think that the audience was actually doing all that they do of their own volition. It was just free labor for her. Finally, during a break one of her staff tapped me on the shoulder and said that Ellen had asked that I be moved to the back of the audience because I wasn’t active and excited enough to remain where I was seated near the center of the room and walkway. Mind you, the woman who replaced me in my seat never stood or danced even once. It changed everything for me in reference to her in an instant. So all these years later I for one am happy to see that she is finally being seen for who she is. Arrogant, pompous, self righteous, self-important, and a bully. Ellen didn’t make me smile that day. On that day… she felt like a bully. It actually felt as though she sensed I was weak in that moment and went ahead and gave me a good kick.
I always thought she was a fake. I always thought her jokes were not jokes towards people. She did cruel things to them. If they had a fear she made sure that she used those fears against them. I liked to when she was a comedian. Somewhere from there to here, she changed. Her facial expression when somebody joked back with her. You could always see the anger. I could see her abusive trait. I knew the face all too well. A person just like her treated me that way all through my childhood and adulthood. Until I finally shoved it all out of my life.
My husband had an encounter with Ellen in Chicago. He saw her in Watertower Place, and said “hi Ellen” and she acted completely disgusted by him addressing her. He’s not even a fan, just said hi, no approaching. What if he were a fan looking for an autograph? She would have Ben him. In comparison, Paul McCartney acknowledges EVERYONE who says hello, and has conversations with his fans. She’s not even on the same planet as Sir Paul.
3 more things. 1. Kept asking a neighbor if she could walk their dog, then wanted to buy their dog, and didn’t understand why they wouldn’t just give their own dog up to her. 2. Adopted a rescue dog, signed the adoption contract, then violated the contract by secretly passing off the dog to somebody else when the dog “didn’t work out”. 3. Then sicc’d her followers on that dog rescue just because they tried to fix the mess she had caused. The rescue actually had to vanish and take down their website. 🙁
I always loved her UNTIL she started out her show once with an electric seated chair that elderly people use to go up and down stairs. It was set up hooked to one side of her audience chairs, with the seat near the stage, and she rode it up the aisle a ways. As it VERY slowly took her up the aisle she looked toward the camera with a straight face, and the audience went wild with laughter. She smiled as they laughed. Those electric seats have made it possible for elderly people to stay in their houses instead of a rest home, and have saved many elderly people from falling down the stairs. I started out smiling when Ellen entered the stage to seating there so hurt for all the people elderly and younger that rely on that system. Right then I said out loud, why am I perusal someone so insensitive get a laugh at the expense of others. I changed the station andnever looked back.
We all saw it happen before our very eyes. There was a very clear change in Ellen’s demeanor as her show grew more and more successful. As she gained more power she wielded that power in a very mean spirited snarky way toward her guests. I can only imagine what employees who depended on her for their paycheck endured.
Here in Hungary we have a celebrity who has been caught in a scandal for abusing his power. Her name is Enikő Eszenyi, former director of the Vígszínház theatre. She regularly humiliated actors, screamed at the top of her lungs and often physically abused them. When this came to light, because nearly 100 actors had written a petition against her, she did not even apologise. The only thing he did was to voluntarily resign from his job as director. This woman reminds me of that woman.
I never liked how she made fun of Sofia Vergara’s accent. Does Ellen really think it’s funny to tease someone that has an accent? I’m sure Sofia felt humiliated whenever Ellen would try and talk like Sofia or tease her on her annunciate of words. I really looked up to Ellen and after hearing how she was a bully. I now have no respect for Ellen.
My grandma and I used to watch Ellen together everyday after school and I loved the show but always felt weird about Ellen. Her attitude towards literally everyone bothered me. She’s always SO sarcastic and I almost felt like she didn’t genuinely care about the person sitting in front of her. She looks at people with such disgust I feel like idk
I worked on her show for about a year back in 2013-14. One thing I noticed was during commercial break, she wouldn’t interact with the audience. She would stay far away on stage. Once the show was over she would jump in her Porsche & speed off, never stayed behind to talk with fans who waited months or years to come to her show. Other shows I worked on the celeb host were very engaging & stayed to interact.
I stopped perusal this show several years ago because she was so cruel to her guests by trying to scare them, sending that poor young man into Halloween houses when she knew it terrified him and would laugh hysterically at his fear. I felt that she was sadistic. It didn’t surprise me when all of this information started coming out
Man – she had me fooled!! Years ago – I thought she was so kind & generous. Then, while perusal her show one day, she was interviewing a celebrity (don’t remember who), and she got a nasty look on her face for a split-second & then it was quickly gone. I started wondering then if the person she shows the public isn’t the real her. Not a long time later, her employees’ statements started to come out.
I remember years ago perusal an interview her and her model wife did with someone, I don’t even remember who. During the interview, Ellen was talking while moving her hands, raising her voice, and lifting her hands in the air as she spoke louder because she was having fun. I remember perusal her wife’s face as Ellen’s hand was raised above her head… it was a millisecond of terror, and she physically flinched – that’s ALL I have ever needed to know about Ellen.
I was always uncomfortable with the jokes on Ellen. It always felt like there was an underlying “joke at your expense” vibe. It felt like child guests were cute moving objects and celebs were fair game to tease and humiliate covered by a few hollow compliments and platitudes to keep everyone from complaining with the plausible deniability that it was all just in fun. Like a bully in school humiliating someone and gaslighting them if they complained telling them “you can’t take a joke” when it’s obvious the bully cares nothing for the kid’s feelings and is just using them for their (and their friends) entertainment. It has ALWAYS felt exactly the same to me on Ellen with staff and celebs fake smiling and joking back with her because they had a job to do. The audience seemed to be genuinely enjoying themselves and liking her but I always felt like Ellen had contempt for them, taking the piss out of them and then only looking more genuine when she was directly looking at them. This switching on and off was reasonably subtle but is a red flag. I’ve always felt awkward perusal her when I occasionally wanted to see a particular celeb or had nothing else to do in that moment (home sick, perusal in a waiting room). I was also always left wanting with celeb interviews as they were so shallow and more about what Ellen was doing or saying to them than than anything about the celeb. The show needs to be replaced with something better anyway.
You can tell she doesn’t like kids and probably likes to do the whole “elite thing” to them… ya know? She just kind of screams that all around. I watched the way she handled them doing something accidentally funny or messing a simple thing up that adults wouldn’t mess up and it really shows where kindness lies.. Js. I think there’s a good soul in everyone but hers has stopped burning and the evils of the world have grabbed hold of her too tightly. Whatever happened to her turned her sour.
I always thought she’s a miserable person. She “laughs too much, act like she’s always: funny, happy, hilarious, joyful, but that’s just an act.miserable people put on; that’s why she’s mean to people because she is not comfortable and happy with herself. She’s like punishing people for her unhappiness!!!🤷🏽♀️ my opinión.
When you have a big staff for a very successful talk show, you have to be nice to your staff ! The staff are the people who are responsible for your success . Most people who have made it big, are nice to their staff . When you are a fair, no nonsense boss, you get the respect and production from your staff . Staff can always leak hurtful information and it only take one or two to mess you up !
Praise God! I’ve had a terrible feeling about her for years and years and YEARS…… 🤢 Edited: amazing how many “bigot” comments (puppet heads) are posted. Lol they’re all the same insult over and over… as if I’m not supposed to being God into it…. I did bring God into it and I’m grateful he’s keeping his promises… idk what god they are trying to defend but the God of the Bible hates wickedness because he loves His children. Any parent understands righteous anger… I know they’re just weak trolls I know they’re not worth responding to. But I’m not writing this for them…. The God of the Bible hates the wicked. Hates. Keyword = HATES….. thank God that the fake accuser is being put to shame as God PROMISED in His holy word. And I’m just surprised that so many people actually think I care about their negative opinion… I worship the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob… idk what god they’re defending or why that makes me a bigot… but I’m so thoroughly grateful that this IDOL is being DESTROYED. I’m so glad for that. And it really makes no difference if that upsets anybody.. lol I swear I think the bigot comments just come out of the same beasts’ rear end of a head lol so dumb
After all of the complete nonsense she’s been doing for YEARS, her show still hasn’t gotten canceled! Just because someone is funny doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be held accountable for their actions. There are MANY people that have had horrible interactions with her, the majority of those interactions have been filmed and watched by millions of people. Why do people continue to excuse her childish behavior? Makes me sick
Entertainers, musicians, trumpet players, comedians arent community “Leaders!” Malcolm X commented laughingly about a racist system which “bestowed” such critters on the black community, while cowardly ignoring true cultural and political leadership. The ersatz “Leaders” enjoyed the noteriety, and the money, and preferred not to question it.
I can’t believe she would bully a child- despicable! When I was a kid (11 or 12) an adult neighbor tried to “fat shame” me. I was skinny but all that started to change after he called me a horrible name and then his family started to do it to. I never thought about food, weight or body image before until that happened. It does something to a kid when you do stuff like that. Especially when I was already being bullied at school. Now an adult next door and his family was picking on me. I often thought” what is wrong with me ?” What is wrong with people?
They say never meet your heroes, and I imagine it would be soul crushing to know what scumbags Ellen degenerate and oh free Winfrey were, however I have the honor of meeting for of my heroes who were famous, Penn and Teller and the two Johns from the band “they might be Giants” and those four guys were definitely the exception because I could write a short novel on hell much class and how cool and approachable these guys are even though they are all mega famous now. Like I said when I met these guys they took time that they did not have to give after performances when they were obviously drained and tired and still they stuck around and talked with and took pictures with and gave autographs to every single person who wanted to meet them and they did not leave until every person was greeted and personally connected with.
She’s a bully. There was the time she put an audience member in a corner with a dunce cap because the lady took more swag than she was suppose to. Ok, call it stealing but she should never have embarrassed that lady in national TV. Why the lady went to the corner and not walk out of the studio I can’t figure. Maybe she was in shock. The people in charge could have asked her to give back the swag privately. That’s not being KIND
I contacted the show on wanting help in having a dream come true. I thought at the time- who better to ask then Ellen? Boy was I mistaken. Her show contacted me in the final season that it was on the air for the 12 days of giveaways- which is what I did not ask for. I did not respond to the email that they sent me and I know the staff was probably okay- but for Ellen- I want nothing to do with her or her brand. After I found out that the allegations were surfacing- I knew that she was responsible for the good majority of what was going on. Fame, money and power truly show what people are and how absurd they can be- however- this is not everyone in the entertainment industry- but this can be a good majority of people.
I heard stories from her hairdresser about how difficult she is to work with her. Bumped into her once on the lot at WB studios. Literally turned the corner and bumped into her. I just said hi and she said hi back. In a friendly way she said I’m going to tape my show and kept walking. I believe she has two or more faces. One for the public and one for the people close to her.
Was an eye opener for me as well as how she treats Andy in a DerOgatory manner on a daytime show…an example on HOW NOT to treat others!!! Also when she was using Andy to repeat the word “COCK” numerous Times to teach the kids staying at home perusal her show, during COVID! Her actions and her choice of words Speak VOLUMES!!! TRUE COLOURS eventually are shown.
that time she gave little naff gifts to her audience after a show and put a camera in and saying take one item only, knowing someone would be tempted to take more than one item, thats entrapment and a nasty thing to do, shes rich the audience are not, of coarse someone would be tempted to take more than one item, and it was all cheap tat anyway, why not say one of each item for everyone, mug t,shirt, cap etc, then she humiliated that audience member infront of the whole world, why would you do that that ? this is typical of psychopathic personalities, this is why i believe all the people who spoke negative about her, plus her attitude and manipulation when a guest says something and she stares direct at the camera as to say look at this guest, her behaviour on the show was enough to convince me that people were telling the truth about her .,
I met her around the time of her going on the Tonight Show w/ Johnny Carson. I was sitting in my car waiting for my date who never showed up. Ellen came over to me & felt bad perusal me sitting in my car & asked if I want to go in with her. We sat at the bar, had a drink, & I remember asking her what she did for a living. She said she was a comedian. To me that was odd. To me that isn’t a career unless your successful. A bit later Sandra Bernhardt came over. Ellen introduced me to her & usually that woman is very rude, but very nice to me that night. I noticed the circle was getting bigger so I left. I thought she was a very nice person.
I have really enjoyed Ellen and her comedy since her sitcom days and even though I wasn’t the kind of fan who scheduled my day around her show I thought the variety show was a lot of fun. I had admired her success very much. Unfortunately, I saw the show the day she gave away trinkets like hats and coffee cups with her name on them to her audiences members in the lobby before the show started. There was a hand written sign asking people to take only one item. This activity was secretly article taped and although I’m sure more than one person took two items, one part of the tape was shown to the audience. I was HORRIFIED by the way Ellen pulled ONE person from her seat and brought her down front and thoroughly humiliated her on national TV, providing a small stool for this large woman to sit on for the rest of the show. Ellen said she was stealing and called her a thief. It was NOT FUNNY, it was DISGUSTING and that MEAN and HATEFUL act by ELLEN will ALWAYS be what I remember most about her. She took a little trick way too far!
I can remember when her sitcom was canceled due to Ellen coming out on the show. I felt horrible for her as I liked the person she was and felt she had the same rights as everyone else . I was ecstatic when she got her own talk show thinking she persevered and came out a winner. So many people stood behind her and she had the support of many celebs and fans alike . To see her turn into someone even her old sitcom self would not have approved of is truly sad . Like Icrus she flew to high on gossamer wings . She forgot the reasons she began and the support she had . She turned into someone even she couldn’t recognize it all went to her head.
I used to be proud of her you know how she was fighting to live her dream, but like with a lot of people that go to Hollywood they get lost, they get sucked in and they change… greed and everything else all the deadly sins brought her down. Not one person in this world (and we the people are like the grains of sand” that is greater than anyone and anybody that thinks they are “above people” will be brought down by God ! Basically a reality check, it’s God saying… CHECK YOURSELF BEFORE YOU WRECK YOURSELF. STOP DRINKING THE DEVIL’S JUICE.
I was on her show after I helped save a boy in a fire in The Bronx, her staff told me before the show started that many donations in cash form were sent to her show for me and that i would never get it from Ellen, when I asked her staff how much money do you think it was ?, I was told. “let’s put it this way, you would never have to work again”.
This is the longest anything I have watched concerning this woman. The 3 or 4 times I listened to her didn’t last more than a minute …. the hate coming out of her is almost tangible behind the veneer of a smile. What do so many people see in her apparently wisdom and discernment are seriously lacking …
In Ellen’s early days as host of a talk show, Ellen did some truly wonderful & heartwarming things for ordinary people. (costs of which were paid for by advertisers) She was fun, funny, and the show seemed like a perfect fit for her. She seemed really happy and always danced her way through the audience down to the stage at the beginning of each show, but gradually the more money she made, the more she began to change. In 2019 her net worth was believed to be somewhere in the $330M range, and rose exponentially to $414M in 2020. She went from hilariously in all fun scaring her celebrity guests, to bullying them, and horrendously forcing them to face their real life fears with total disregard for their feelings. Then she began being downright mean to her staff, to her guests, to her don’t touch me, don’t talk to me, to don’t even look at me. She turned into a narcissistic mean person. Because of her fame, her money, or was there something else going on in her life? She alienated her entire fan base, and consequently lost advertisers, and lost her show in the end. Ellen is 65 years old. She had an overall successful run on TV, and in previous movies. Her retirement came at the perfect time, whether she was ready or not. She owes a lot of people some really big sincere apologies. Whether she actually does it or not remains to be seen.
I am so happy her show was cancelled and, I would’ve been a lot happier if she faced criminal charges, considering the amount of harassment her staff endured from her! I’ve always been a very good judge of character, from the first moment I saw her, I could just tell she was an absolutely nasty, horrible person who would screw over anyone to get what she wants. Much like the previous post, an old family friend (I didn’t know her personally) went to go see her show, and was pretty shocked when the entire audience was told, nobody is allowed to touch her or even look at her unless she addresses them first. Who in the hell does she think she is, the queen of England? After the show was over, she would apparently totally ignore the audience, and walk off the stage, without even saying thank you, but just by pure coincidence, the person I am mentioning, was walking out of the building, the same time Ellen was, and bumped into her by mistake. This person was an elderly woman With a walker (she passed away a year ago), so what did Ellen do? Called for her security guards to kick the lady out of the building and pushed her over onto the ground! True story! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬When I heard that I was so angry, but Hollywood is a vicious, evil monster, no matter how much this person tried to get Ellen to apologize for her behavior, she totally denied it, and because there were no witnesses that saw Ellen push her to the ground, she was completely ignored and dismissed.
It’s Sad that Someone that Always Practiced “Be Kind” Treats Others So Badly! SMH! I Had Heard Yrs Ago when she had the Christmas giveaways from a person that went there. That when she danced you were not to touch her or talk to her. Unless she asked you a question that was the only way. They couldn’t believe how rude she was in person. Anyways. I guess fame goes to some people’s head and it changes there values and ways. This Breaks my heart! People need to remember we all get in our pants one leg at a time! JS. Stay safe to All! ❤️
She may be a bad person, or she may be a good person. The truth is that we do NOT know her personally well enough to even talk good or bad about her. Who are we to judge her, right? How would you feel if someone you don’t even know talked about you like this? Let’s just all step back and worry about our own lives and people we actually know.
So all of you people think that a person’s livelihood should be ended because you don’t like their personality? The child that Ellen bully looks older than her. People change every two years. Does not mean she’s still a bully to this day. I know quite a few movies of the 1990s who are great people now. There was no serious allegations here to end her livelihood. People are far too sensitive these days and are worried about the wrong things. That could be the very reason that she doesn’t want anybody to talk to her before she starts work. So she doesn’t have to start work feeling negative because someone else is feeling negative. But that’s my opinion y’all have a blessed day worrying about other people’s business and their attitudes
Ellen could have ended all this crap her employees had to go through a long time ago but she’s not a good person. Imagine being able to have the power to make people love there job and truly enjoy going to work and have a wonderful environment. You’d have to be the opposite of a good kind person to not choose that option and instead Having a rule that her employees and interns are not allowed to look her in the eye is insane! Also not being allowed to say hi to Ellen and having to chew gum before entering her office because she has a “sensitive ” nose is not what I would call Kind. Be kind Ellen!
Even a while before the allegations against Ellen started coming up in the media I turned her off and I was a huge fan of hers. I often would watch the interview she would do with everyday people who were doing extraordinary things and wished that I could someday do something that would end me up in the seat next to her. Now I can honestly say I just don’t like her and I couldn’t be more happier she’s getting exposed for who she is. All that being said it started around the time she started filming from her house once the pandemic restrictions started rolling in. I watched her in one clip I watched as she actually had andy that was only allowed to stand outside the big Windows she had behind her in the part of the house where she was filming and asked him to start cleaning the windows with a rag and solution she left in a red bucket while continuing on with the segment. I thought that was a little odd but I continue to watch anyway then a few days to a week later I saw something again that kind of bothered me where he said he was hungry and she only offer him a plate full of peanuts she left out for the squirrels and the local wildlife around her house. Then the last segment I’d ever watch of her was when Andy was thirsty now remember she made Andy stand outside and the only way he was on camera was behind the big Windows she had in her house sitting outside of her house. In this particular clip Andy was thirsty and Ellen said the water hose is right there and then continue to refuse Andy’s request for something like a bottle of water.
I could never did get past how fake her eyes were in how she smiled. I know that they tell you to imagine your audience as nude to make yourself less nervous when public speaking. But she looked like she imagined everyone as garbage beneath her feet to be ridiculed for her benefit when she smiled. It’s one thing that I hate is fake people
Being someone who was a victim in life, I would benefit if the people who hurt me gave me an authentic face to face and public apology…and give opportunity for everyone to hear what they did did to me in life. So, that’s what I think she should do if she hurt people. Honestly, everyone has a human right to overcome their wrong doing though and be seen as human, if they do so. But, everyone is on their own path in that process … and it’s not for others to judge. They are really only contradicting themselves by doing so. And, should instead focus on themselves and how they truly live their own life.
How people get canceled when “people’s” idea of them changes because of something they do no one is perfect not saying Ellen shouldn’t be responsible but people need to realize that people make mistakes and we should not have a perfect idea of someone like Charlie for example she’s probably one of the sweetest perfect kids but that’s our idea of her that’s what we want to see if she changes or if she does something are whole idea will change of her and she could be canceled along with the rest of YouTubers
This is nothing new. Even when she was a guest standup in the Carson era, other comedians talked about what an awful person she was. She was disliked even then. But you couldn’t say anything publicly, because it was known among those in the industry she was a lesbian and it was un-PC to say anything bad a lesbian. So she got away with a lot because of her privilege.
“Wow, that happened.” I would love to enter the giveaway for a Macbook pro because currently I have a 5 year old, barely working macbook air. The battery takes forever to charge and frequently shuts down. I once lost a 13 page school project because of this. My family also does not have enough financial status to help me purchase a new laptop and I really need one for school, and I really hope to be able to start my freshman year off with a stable, working macbook pro.
Having been around celebrities most of my life because of my dad’s job, I’d say about 85% of them are horrible, nasty, sometimes cruel and vicious people. The level of narcissism and egocentric plays a huge role in that and you’re not allowed to say no to them or deny them their demands. I’d say the other actors, from the golden era of television were always nice to me and my sisters. Really big stars like Jack Lemmon, Jimmy Stewart, the late Sean Connery, James Garner, Frank Sinatra and Bob Hope were much nicer people then the younger generation of actors. They were more humbled. Most famous people are not nice people. They actors generally playing another role in interviews. Same thing happened to Rosie O’Donnell, another horrible, nasty, angry, arrogant celebrities.
I was reading somewhere about people getting in trouble about brevment time being take after a family member died, well here is one for you. I don’t work for the show but just incase they think they have it bad. When my son of 19 years died in 2009 my work sent people to the funeral just to check to see if he had really died. 3 months after I asked was I to be paid for the 3 days I had off for his funeral they rudely said o you didn’t get paid? The following payday i was told that the money was on the this payday. They took me in the office and fired me. I mean wow I busted my back for this company that I was working for. Just 8ncase the people at ellen think they have it bad there’s always someone else.
does it even matter anymore? She’s made her hundreds of millions already, she’s already an old woman, she should have been canceled YEARS ago. She’s not even that funny, she’s famous for being a lesbian on TV and being “slightly” funny at times but that’s it. How did she even get as famous as she did. Once she came out and that episode ended, her TV show TANKED, but they still gave her a freaking talk show; where was Ed O’Neal’s talk show who was WAY funnier and who’s show (Married with Children) is far more remembered then Ellen ever was (minus the coming out episode).
Why people worship celebrities I don’t understand. They are for our entertainment. We make them their popularity and most of their money. If we didn’t pay to see them and promote them they would not going anywhere. My niece is a beautiful high school graduate and she is sweet and shy. She was asked why don’t you try to be a model or an actress you would surley make it. She’s said, “No, those people are “fake” and shallow. I don’t want to ever be like that.” I thought what a smart and deep sweet precious young lady she is.
I have never been a fan of Ellen Degeneres. Her actions, as described in this article, are bad but most of them fairly common. There are people in show business who have been far worse and they remain unscathed. The real reason Ellen has come under fire is probably unknown to the public. Perhaps she didn’t genuflect or bow low enough to a Hollywood mogul. That’s usually the reason celebrities are taken down.
I don’t live in the US. Don’t have a TV. Don’t watch TV shows or web series. 95% of them are trash produced for mass consumption and dumbification. Even so, a few of her short clips popped on my YouTube feed. Checking them out I got a vibe that this woman is ‘portraying herself’, and appears pushy. Never felt drawn to ner show. Never. I may be right or wrong but always look at the vibe a person gives off, not their appearance or achievements.
Johnny Depp v Ellen (Bare with me here) Both had allegations against them (arguably Johnny’s was worse) Johnny had his name cleared and reputation restored. There are no negative stories coming out about Johnny post court case, however Ellen can’t seem to shake the numerous allegations against her. This would lead me to believe Johnny is a good person, a great role model. Ellen is just really not a good person. Just my opinion.
Ellen will never be fulfilled. I noticed the progression over the seasons. She wants it all, but the newness wears off, and she loses interest. Then, it’s on to the next thing. (even tires of her homes) The last couple of seasons, she definitely wasn’t into it. She is mos def a Narcy. Always showcasing herself and filling her ego. The best thing to come out of her chat show….HANDS DOWN….NATE SELTZER!!!!
The first few years when she came out…I thought she was funny and genuine! However, after perusal her show and witnessing how she treated lovely guests and audience members sometimes made me raise up my red flags 🚩🚩🚩and I totally lost interest! I mean…who needs to be triggered? So I changed the website and found some truly kindred spirits still exist! 🥰
Union workers are guaranteed work. I understand her hiring extra non union workers to help during Corona issue because nobody could find work. She still paid her own staff. Why not? Whats wrong with that? She is a comedian I think people have lost their ability to understand humor and prefer to whine and virtue signal. I like Ellen.
I think Ellen has the talent to be a great comedian, however I’ve seen a few shows where she’s forced her work crews to do athletic time or day, messy geeky stunts,&been was posh with a guest off&on! She sounds like trying to work with Bette Davis before she decided she liked you or not,&then You were welcomed, but you earned it as she was PROFESSIONAL to her toes&expected others being paid to be prepared as well as she was! I stopped perusal when she began having kids on briefly because THEY loved her so much&I hated all those get smeared games! She quit being a comedian&appeared to try to “act” like one.Big difference!
Oprah is still doing many good things. Many times in silence as the Bible says so. The media finds out and she speaks out only if she really needs to. She does many things for charity and why dont you speak to some of the people whose lives changed because of her. Nobody is perfect. She is often here in South Africa, quietly doing her thing. I will always admire her. Many people are still not used to black, rich and powerful women.
You can clearly tell Ellen is on some type of Opiates. Your pupils don’t become pinpoints like that for no reason. I don’t know if she’s prescribed them, but the way her behavior has changed over the years, it can easily be caused by opioid addiction. Trust me, I know. I wasted 10 years of my life on that garbage.. 6 years clean and sober now.
