  • Awesome vid! I live in Canada n ordered mine a few weeks ago. I’ll get it in April when all the snow n salt on the roads are gone. Got the dct cyber grey, mud flaps n undercoat. I will def be getting an awesome set of winters for this thing I’m sure it’ll be fun in the snow with nice tires. This will be the fam car but only for a yr or two, my wife wants an suv.. maybe the Kona N 😏

  • Sorry late to this hopefully you are still reading comments. Love this car and color. On the summer tires, saw the comments below about driving in winter. What made you stick with the summer tires in winter? Are you going to switch to a winter or all season? If so which ones? I can’t find a community for the N so can’t find any info on tires. And none of these YouTube reviews mentions them. Bravo on that. Great review!

  • I’ve searched and even called a Hyundai dealer and no one can tell me if the DCT has Auto hold. Which is a feature you can engage or a button you can press that keeps the car from rolling forward when you’re at a full stop like at a red light. I have it on my Golf R and it’s something I couldn’t live without. One DCT owner told me that it takes long to engage as it’s deep in the infotainment, and it also turns off every time you turn the car off, and then he also said that it doesn’t work very well. Which to me, makes me think he doesn’t know what feature I’m talking about. It either works or it doesn’t LOL. I asked him what does not working very well mean? Will it just start rolling forward while you’re sitting at a red light? Anyway I was just wondering if you knew if the auto hold feature is available on your Elantra N DCT. Thanks in advance

  • 1. Those tires should not be used below around 45 degrees F. My Pirelli’s are still on the rack waiting for warmer weather. 2. My wife actually tells me to open-up the exhaust and hit it. I usually drive it in N custom or Sport. 3. You do not need to fill it up with premium gas. The performance and mileage hit is pretty small. I can get over 30 mpg on my VN using 87 octane, but I make sure that I don’t 🙂
