Derek’s father, Robert Michael Chauvin, is a CPA at Chauvin and Associates Ltd. in St. Paul, Minn., where he currently resides. He married Carolyn Marie, and they have no known biological children.
Kellie Chauvin has two children from her previous marriage with ex-husband Kujay Xiong. It is too early to determine whether Chauvin’s wife, Kellie Chauvin, is asking for more than half the couple’s assets due to divvying up marital property. The couple met in 2010 while Kellie was working as a radiologist at a hospital.

Ex-wife Kellie Chauvin, 48, made the comments to the Daily Mail in her first interview since then-husband Derek infamously knelt on Floyd’s neck during an arrest. It appears that the loner Derek Chauvin lacks family members or at least any who love and care about him.
