You can remove a listed driver from your car insurance policy if they no longer reside with you or use your vehicle. However, it’s advisable to keep children away at college or temporarily moved out on your policy to ensure they’re covered during breaks. To remove a driver, you typically need to contact your insurer, although some companies allow online or app-based removal. Key documents may include proof of new insurance, proof of new residence, and a signed removal request.
Similarly, when dealing with drivers in Windows operating systems, you can utilize Settings or the Device Manager to uninstall drivers. Begin by opening Settings (Windows+I), then navigate to "Add or remove programs." If the driver appears in the list, select uninstall. For a comprehensive list of drivers, PowerShell can be employed using the command: Get-WmiObject Win32_PnPSignedDriver. To fully remove a driver package from driver storage, utilize the pnputil command, which ensures that the driver is not reinstalled automatically.

Windows 10 and 11 offer multiple straightforward methods to uninstall drivers, including using Control Panel or Command Prompt. 📹 How to Get the Most Out of Your AAA Membership
Wedding insurance, vacation packages, travel discounts – the American Automobile Association offers its members more than …
AAA is an afterthought until you actually need it, at which point you are very thankful you paid for a membership. Every time I have needed help in the 7 years since I have had it, they have always had my back. It is nice having that kind of peace of mind, and for what they charge I consider it a bargain.
Just after midnight of Dec. 23/24 I couldn’t get my car to start so I called AAA (Premium member since 1999) and to make a long story short it took them 12 hours to route a tow truck to me. After 8 hours of waiting in the cold for their asses I called a towing service on my dime and they had a truck at my location in 20 minutes. In 23 years it was only the second time I had needed them and they DID NOT come through. Tow truck driver told me that AAA will blow you off late at night like that since it costs them more during those hours to get a tow truck. I nearly froze to death waiting.
I had AAA. Last time I needed them I waited FOUR hours. Finally I see a tow truck and the driver looks me in te eye and clearly sees me and my car. What does he do? Pulls into te bar across the street. After another hour, comes out and helped me out. Asked him why he did not help before and he said “I didn’t see you. I told him he looked right at me and he just said “I didn’t know it was you”
It’s only a good deal if you use the service. I had AAA for 4yrs and only needed the service once. That being said, AAA was the saving grace in that instance. I had my young daughter on my plan who lived on the other side of the state. Her car broke down about 20 miles from home and she didn’t have money for a tow truck. I reminded her of the AAA service and she was able to get home. If you’re smart you’ll take advantage of the other benefits that come with AAA membership, like all the discounts.
I have been a member for 33 years and every year it has been worth the cost. You only have to broken down on the road in Texas in summer to have it pay for itself when you need a flat changed. They are tons of benefits that you may not even know you have with the membership. I am a premier member which pays for itself every year with the benefits. Would not travel without.
Absolutely not canceled my roadside assistance and insurance today. Room rates are higher with the discount so it’s not a discount first time I use them for a tow. They locked my keys in the car killed my battery and then tried to sell me on a lockout today they called me an hour after they’re supposed to be there on the side of the roadfor a flat tire and tell me they’re 2 1/2 hours out goodbye AAA
Don’t walk run away from AAA the worst my father who is 83yrs old and a diabetic had his car stalled. He told them his condition and they assured him that within an 1hr they would tow. 4hrs and nothing I got out of work to bring food for him THE WHOLE REASON TO HAVE AAA IS FOR EMERGENCIES. They came finally @ 6pm. I’m done don’t let me this happen to you they are other car clubs which have way better service
I’ve been with them since 2006…used them several times for towing mostly…once when I locked my keys in the car…they were responsive… I have had the PremierPlan now so I can’t say how the respond to lessor plans… I’m at a crossroads roads now whether to renew…over the last couple of years the cost of my Premier Plan went from around $100 to now receiving a bill for $155…I didn’t even use it lately for anything….I am now working from home and drive infrequently…I don’t really travel or need their other service discounts as I have get most of them through AARP….. I pretty much would use them as a what if scenario & safety net for towing…..what to do …what to do 🤷🏼♀️ Tried to “talk” to someone in Customer Service not related to Roadside Assistance and there is no way to connect to anyone…no email, no chat…nothing…this alone is concerning
Do you know if AAA members get any kind of priority over other drivers who need a tow truck? My vehicle insurance has full service roadside assistance, but it can sometimes take 2 or more hours to get a tow truck to show up. Things like lock-outs and jump starts are usually handled pretty quick because they don’t require a tow truck. Multiple times I have been told by my insurance roadside assistance that a truck will be out “tomorrow.” Say WHAT?!?!😲😲😮😮 Or maybe we just don’t have enough tow trucks in the Denver area.
AAA, w Very reputable company indeed. Dey only allow 4 calls per year. Dey do not count calls unless dey r able 2 fix ur car. Sadly dey were unable 2 fix my car. D stirring wheel has been 🔒- i did not do it. I called dem once dis year 😉 but as mentioned by d rep, it’s not counted. I purchased a new battery from dem w/ warranty. So, God villing vill call dem to replace it, & dey vill fix my car? Never lose hope ppl.
AAA ISN’T WHAT IT USED TO BE……….without any notice sent to me I could not figure out why I never got my membership card. THEY DON’T SEND CARDS ANYMORE……..you’re supposed to load it to an app on your phone. Oh that’s smart. My battery dies out on the road and maybe my phone isn’t fully charged and if hours go by, phone dead and they still have not attended to me I have no proof I belong . They are saving MILLIONS by not issuing cards YET they are not passing that savings on to the customer. I had to call them and demand a physical card that takes a mere 4 WEEKS to get. They claim they are going green. BULL. They could have issued a permanent card with no expiration date that you could keep for YEARS…..and if you don’t pay they should just shut your service off. WHAT A STAB IN THE BACK after being a loyal member for 30 years.
