To get the RV back, players must use the radio to scan frequencies until they come across a transmission about a guy bragging about finding a RV. The quest can be found on the Steam forum and requires a fully refitted van.

After 100 days in the current shelter and the RV is fully assembled, the player can complete the Extended Family quest. After fixing the camper van above the shelter and scanning frequencies with the radio, the player can unlock the quest. It is unlocked after the camper van is repaired, and at least one family member has survived on the 100th day. It is now possible to increase the number of layers available for their Shelter by moving shelter via the Extended Family quest.

What Happens When You Live A Sheltered Life?

Sheltered individuals often have limited exposure to diverse perspectives and experiences, leading to challenges in adapting to unfamiliar ways of thinking and behaving. People who grew up in overprotective environments, such as restrictive religious households, may struggle with social interactions and navigating conflict. Signs of a sheltered upbringing include difficulty making decisions, fearing failure, and lacking independence. This upbringing can contribute to anxiety or depression in adulthood, as sheltered individuals may have internalized strict adherence to authority figures without learning crucial life skills.

While growing up in a sheltered environment may preserve a sense of safety and comfort, it can hinder an individual’s ability to cope with real-world challenges later on. Recognizing signs of a sheltered life is essential for fostering effective communication and empathy towards oneself and others. Key traits such as limited social skills and a tendency to view others’ experiences through a narrow lens often emerge from this upbringing.

However, it is possible to overcome such challenges by stepping out of one's comfort zone and seeking new experiences. This journey of personal growth is vital for building awareness about life's realities, enhancing confidence, and developing critical skills. Recognizing and addressing these issues can lead to a more fulfilling and balanced adult life.

How Do You Move To A New Shelter In Sheltered

How Do You Move To A New Shelter In Sheltered?

To move shelters in Sheltered, first, complete the "Extended Family" questline by waiting for 100 days, avoiding accumulating more than three yellow quest icons on the map. Once completed, click on your camper van and select "Move on." You can only relocate with your family and pet; if the last family member dies, it's game over. Moving to a new shelter grants you one additional family member and allows you to transport around 50 resources but prohibits returning to the old location.

The process includes repairing the camper van, finding parts to make it operational, and then relocating. Upon moving, all non-family recruits are left behind, along with any crafts and items not taken. The new shelter offers a deeper floor level and requires you to manage crafting and space efficiently. Ensure your workbench level is typically around 2 or 3, as you can lose tools but not blueprints when departing.

During gameplay, maintain your shelter and family while sending members out to scavenge supplies. After the quest, upon reaching the quest giver, the reward is automatically granted. When the camper shows the "move on" option, you can relocate your family, filling 72 slots in the new shelter, which feels like restarting with some items and resources from the old place. Prioritize essential crafting components and backpacks for the journey, as food storage at the new shelter should suffice. Overall, moving shelters is a strategic move that resets aspects of gameplay while offering new opportunities.

How Does Extended Family Work

How Does Extended Family Work?

Extended Family is a concept that encompasses a family structure beyond the nuclear family, which consists only of parents and their children. It includes relatives such as grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, who may live together or nearby, creating a supportive network. This family format is prevalent in many cultures, wherein extended families serve as a social safety net, ensuring that members do not feel isolated and have emotional support during challenging times.

In an extended family, responsibilities are often shared in raising children, providing guidance, and offering assistance in daily life. Such cooperative arrangements can alleviate emotional and financial pressures. While the nuclear family structure is more common in Western cultures, many societies maintain extended families that incorporate multiple generations, allowing for deeper connections and shared traditions.

The collective nature of extended families contributes to emotional stability and shared resources, fostering interdependent relationships. This setup can be beneficial for caregiving, childcare, and managing household responsibilities. Ultimately, extended families not only enhance familial bonds but also play a crucial role in preserving cultural values and histories across generations. These networks ensure that familial legacies are upheld while supporting individual needs.

Can Legendary Fish Reproduce

Can Legendary Fish Reproduce?

As of update 1. 6. 9, players can now add Legendary Fish to their fish ponds in Stardew Valley, but these unique fish come with specific limitations. They can be introduced into the pond similarly to other fish, but unlike regular fish, only one specimen of a legendary fish can be placed in a pond. Upon addition, the water color changes to reflect the species introduced the following day. Legendary fish do not reproduce, which makes them less versatile in fish pond management compared to standard fish.

In fact, if players attempt to add legendary fish to breed, a message will notify them that these fish would be unhappy in a breeding environment. While players can catch legendary fish multiple times, only one can reside in a pond at once, and they cannot produce roe or reproduce. Other species of fish, such as Tiger trout or fish from the Night Market, can be placed in ponds and will breed. As a result, players often opt to store legendary fish in chests or fridges until they're ready to utilize larger aquariums. The five legendary fish include the Crimsonfish, Angler, Legend, Glacierfish, and Mutant Carp, with each only available once per save file.

How Does The Extended Family Quest Work?

The Extended Family quest is initiated after 100 days spent in a shelter, once the camper van is fully repaired, and after scanning for frequencies. Upon reaching the quest giver’s location, you learn they have seen someone resembling you, potentially a family member, and they offer their location for a fee. This quest, available at Qi's Walnut Room, involves catching rarer variants of legendary fishes, which are said to be relatives of the original legendary sea creatures.

To accomplish this, you need to catch five specific fishes: Ms. Angler, Glacierfish Jr., Son of Crimsonfish, Radioactive Carp, and Legend II within three days of receiving the quest. Successfully completing the quest rewards you with 20 Qi Gems.

You may only need to catch five family variant fishes during the quest; however, catching doubles across quests may not be necessary. The process involves maximizing each fishing trip’s efficiency while securing these fish that have the same sell prices and healing effects, making them catchable in any season or weather. Additionally, it is confirmed that you do not need to have caught every legendary fish prior for this quest to appear in Qi's offerings. The quest allows players to reconnect with the beloved figures of the sea, challenging their fishing skills in pursuit of these hard-to-find relatives.

What Is The Son Of Crimsonfish

What Is The Son Of Crimsonfish?

The Son of Crimsonfish is a legendary fish in Stardew Valley, integral to Mr. Qi's Extended Family Quest. Sharing similar attributes with the Crimsonfish, it has the same sell price, healing effect, location, and hooking chance. However, it can only be caught while the quest is active, although multiple catches are allowed during the quest. The fish can be utilized as a red dye in dye pots found at Emily’s and Haley’s house on Willow Lane.

Catching the Son of Crimsonfish requires accessing Pelican Town Beach, where it behaves like other legendary fish, which can typically be caught once per save file. Players should repair the broken bridge on the east side of the beach to reach it. You have a three-day window during the quest to catch several legendary fish, including Glacierfish Jr. and Radioactive Carp.

While attempting to fulfill the quest, players often comment on the challenge of catching the Son of Crimsonfish, particularly how it seems elusive during events like the Night Market. With an item ID of 898, cheat codes for this fish function across all platforms like PC, Xbox, and PS4. In summary, the Son of Crimsonfish plays a vital role in the quest while presenting an engaging challenge for players.

How Do I Get The Extended Family Quest?

In the Walnut Room of Ginger Island, Qi offers a fishing quest titled "Extended Family," where you must catch the family members of legendary fish within three days. The quest involves locating five specific fish: Ms. Angler, Glacierfish Jr., Son of Crimsonfish, Radioactive Carp, and Legend II. You begin by assessing the locations where these legendary fish are commonly found; for example, the narrow waterway north of Joja Mart for some. To successfully complete the quest and earn 20 Qi Gems, all five fish must be caught in the designated time frame.

Tips for catching these elusive fish include using lead tackle to minimize the "bounce" during fishing. It’s important to note that you don't need to have previously caught every legendary fish for this quest to appear. The quest is repeatable, allowing players to try again even if they fail. Many have experienced issues, such as the quest disappearing from their menu before completion. Players should be prepared to maximize their fishing expeditions and anticipate potential movements of the fish to increase their catching chances. With patience and strategic fishing, you can successfully fulfill Qi’s challenge.

What Is Extended Family In Sheltered?

The Extended Family quest is a crucial goal in the game Sheltered, as players strive to locate additional family members in newly discovered shelters. This quest becomes accessible once the camper van is repaired, and at least one family member has survived for 100 days. Upon embarking on this quest, players have 72 slots to fill, relocating all surviving family members to a new map while leaving behind any extra items, the original shelter, and other recruits.

The new shelter offers an opportunity to acquire an additional random family member and a chance to find a new pet. For players to activate the Extended Family quest, they must first scan frequencies with their radio after the camper van is functional. The journey requires resources, typically including 100 water, 10 petrol, and 25 canned food, with growing demands for subsequent moves.

Furthermore, experiencing bugs such as lack of communication from expedition parties has raised questions among players regarding the quest's reliability. The quest is designed for maximizing survival in a post-apocalyptic world, where players manage a family in an underground shelter after a nuclear disaster. Completing the Extended Family quest allows players to transfer special items and family stats to a new shelter, providing the chance for new adventures and additional family dynamics, including possibly expanding the family further with another member.

What Happens When You Catch All 13 Legendary Fish?

In Stardew Valley, catching all 13 Legendary Fish is a challenging but rewarding quest. Once you successfully catch and mail these rare fish, you receive an invitation from Jeremy Gill. He invites you to join him for one final fishing trip, marking the conclusion of your fishing quest. This experience is highly anticipated and adds to the excitement of your fishing adventures.

There are five special Legendary Fish available, with specific prerequisites to catch them, including reaching a certain Fishing Level. The five legendary fish include the Legend, Crimsonfish, Angler, Glacierfish, and Mutant Carp. Each fish appears in a designated season and time, and catching them requires skill and strategy.

To optimize your chances, you may need to craft or purchase magic bait and upgrade your fishing skills. For instance, the Legend can only be caught in spring while it's raining, and you should aim for specific times of the day. In "A Family's Legacy" quest from Assassin's Creed Odyssey, players embark on a journey to locate family members who have taken refuge in new shelters. This quest becomes available once the camper van is repaired and at least one family member survives beyond day 100. Players can then scan for frequencies to initiate the quest. To tackle the Thera mystery, players must sail to the southeastern Volcanic Islands, mooring their ship at a dock and using Ikaros to locate a chest containing the Family Heirloom.

Completing the Gig quest chain from the Fixer in Westbrook is necessary to acquire the item under patch 1. 5. The quest involves solving a mirror puzzle by removing wood blocks that obstruct the mirrors to open a door. Additional tasks include completing four quest lines before accessing The Gates of Atlantis, which requires finishing the Unified Front quest and others. After conversing with a father figure, players return to the modern world and dive into the ocean to navigate an underwater cave system.

Various gaming elements also entail quests related to family, such as Jack Marston’s side-mission in Red Dead Redemption or unlocking characters in other games through quest completion and resource collection.

How Rare Is The Crimsonfish?

To catch the Crimsonfish, players must meet specific requirements, including achieving at least Fishing Level 10. Each cast offers an 18% chance of hooking a Crimsonfish (25% with a Curiosity Lure). Although it cannot be caught again after being snagged, players can obtain multiple Crimsonfish using Challenge Bait. This legendary fish is a maroon color with red-orange fins and can be used as red dye in the dye pots at Emily's and Haley's house. It sells for a base price of 1, 500g, with higher values for silver (1, 875g) and gold (2, 250g) quality.

There are five legendary fish in total—Angler, Crimsonfish, Glacierfish, Legend, and Mutant Carp—each requiring unique fishing levels, locations, and bait.

  • I also have some tips to add in case you guys care; Soap is by far in my opinion, the best currency in the game, it’s easy to find and it can acts as 10 value. So say, instead of saying 1 gas which is 30, sell 3 soap that is 30. Taking the RV with you means you don’t have to bring a rucksack, since it is 50+ storage. You can find parts for the RV in Scrapyards, wait a day or two then head to as many as possible. Lights, even though I use them for article use, can actually make your generator burn more fuel. Pressing Subdue isn’t always enough; you need your character having a weapon with a Str requirement under or at it’s level. The horse is better; although the cat looks nice; the speed and saddle are way better. Rebar is nice, and as far as I know, better so this one might but false.. BUT in my own personal opinion; I use an axe or a shotgun butt, the melee accuracy is better = more likely too hit. Please enjoy if this was helpfull.

  • Uh can you please make a guide for all the other youtubers on, “How to make guides”? I’m not sure what to do with all the free time I have now after perusal this article. Perhaps I’ll practice making Star Trek door noises with my mouth..Or.. maybe, memorize the Gettysburg Address, in 5 different languages.. I mean.. the possibilities are endless… Amazing guide mate, well done!

  • Quick tip for early expeditions, no matter the difficulty, GRAB THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITEMS THAT TURN UP, drop any cheaper items in a building for when you return. Trading within the shelter is a much more abundant source of crafting materials when you have expensive items, where crafting materials outside of the shelter are much more limited. Also, once you have recruits, send them out for the most dangerous missions, there’s a reason why the family members are colour coded. And last but not least, always prepare to move bases with the Extended Family quest, especially if any family members die.

  • I’ve studied the game by myself and came up with my own strategies, this article shown every one of it. they were all accurate! just to add dogs were op in expeditions, he basically kill almost everyone. if you’re looking for stat increase don’t bring him along but in far and crowded places with tons of encounters, it is very recommended.

  • the cat is a great pet for beginners new to the game, as they have to learn resource management. then upgrade to the dog, which requires daily feeding, but is a really good companion for fights especially early game. i will eventually switch to the horse, i just hate exploiting the game mechanics by the fact that it doesnt require any food while travelling but consumes 3 if it is in the shed i mean how lol.

  • This was really helpful, but I think they fixed the Subdue action working 99% of the time, because I just tried it in my first fight and I lost my only fighter on like day 7 to an unarmed person who just kept resisting and blocking. Does it only work if you have that specific weapon? Or is it supposed to work with anything?
