When you separate from your partner, you don’t have to go to court unless you can’t agree with each other. It can be cheaper and quicker to figure out the arrangements yourselves, but even if you do, you can officially end your marriage or get a legal separation instead if you want to live apart.
If you live with your partner and the relationship ends, you usually have the right to stay in the home if you are married or in a civil partnership. If the property is only in your spouse’s name, you may still have a right to stay in the home. Divorce law can be complex and vary from case to case, so here are a few broad guidelines that detail commonly asked questions when leaving a spouse.
If you are renting a property and both names are on the current title deeds or tenancy, you will usually have the right to stay in the home if you are: married or in a civil partnership. If the property is only in your spouse’s name, you may still have a right to stay in the home. To protect your interest in the marital home before your divorce and financial interests, you may need to apply for a court order – an occupation order will allow you to stay in the home and make your ex-partner leave.
When you separate from your partner, you need to reach an agreement about your children, money, belongings, and the family home. Forget the housework, concentrate on the children and look after yourselves. Try to rest and sleep. If you want this to be legally binding, you must apply to a court before finalizing legal paperwork to divorce.
To move on after a relationship, it is important to focus on your children, focus on your finances, and seek counseling to heal from a divorce. Contact a solicitor to discuss your rights and options, including child custody, financial support, and the division of property. If you want this to be legally binding, you must apply to a court before finalizing legal paperwork to divorce.

What Is The Husband Abandonment Syndrome?
Spousal Abandonment Syndrome occurs when a husband unexpectedly leaves his marriage without any warning, explanation, or discussion with his wife. This sudden departure leaves the abandoned wife feeling betrayed, confused, and emotionally devastated. Emotional abandonment refers to the sense of being sidelined and unheard when a spouse withdraws or avoids interaction. Although spousal abandonment can serve as grounds for divorce in fault-based states, the experience is deeply personal and traumatic.
The affected spouse typically moves through several stages of grief. Initially, there is confusion and disbelief, as nothing prepared her for this life-changing event. Such emotional trauma is profound, stemming from feelings of desertion by a crucial partner. Spousal abandonment syndrome indicates a lack of communication about dissatisfaction in the relationship, often contrasting with cases of infidelity.
Wife Abandonment Syndrome, a specific manifestation, occurs when a man abruptly leaves his wife, shattering her belief in a stable marriage. Spousal abandonment can also impose financial burdens, such as unpaid bills, leaving the remaining partner to navigate an unexpected reality. The emotional fallout includes a complex mix of anger, loss, anxiety, and fear, as abandoned individuals grapple with the unexpected loss of their partner.
What To Do When Husband Abandons Family?
If your spouse has abandoned you and your child, you may have grounds to seek full custody or relieve the abandoning parent of their rights and obligations. Marital abandonment refers to a spouse intentionally severing ties with the family without intent to return, including neglecting financial responsibilities. Upon discovering abandonment, several steps are crucial: first, ascertain your spouse's status and then consider filing for full custody, proving the child has been abandoned, abused, or neglected.
Protecting yourself financially is also important. Understand the implications of abandonment, which can take forms including emotional, financial, or even criminal. In North Carolina, for instance, three elements must be established for spousal abandonment: an unjustified departure, absence for a specified time, and evident intent to abandon.
Seek immediate support from family and friends, and consider consulting a family law attorney for legal options, such as filing for a legal separation—known as divorce from bed and board—which may entitle you to alimony, as well as child support and custody benefits. Document any evidence of abandonment by contacting authorities if necessary. Focus on your recovery; lean on support networks, avoid self-blame, and allow yourself to grieve. Learning about marital abandonment can help you cope and navigate this challenging situation. Taking proactive steps will allow you to secure your future and the well-being of your child.
What Is The Walk Away Husband Syndrome?
Walkaway Husband Syndrome occurs when a husband unexpectedly leaves his marriage, causing confusion for his spouse. This sudden departure typically comes without any prior indications of unhappiness. A common myth is that only wives can reach a breaking point, but husbands can also experience deep feelings of despair and disconnection. The phenomenon, often termed "Neglected Spouse Syndrome," can lead to significant emotional turmoil when one partner feels unappreciated or ignored.
Women frequently initiate divorces due to prolonged dissatisfaction, feeling unheard despite attempts to communicate their concerns. The Walkaway Wife Syndrome describes a scenario where a wife, experiencing emotional disconnection or mistreatment, ultimately chooses to leave when her needs go unmet. This can stem from a sense that her partner minimizes her feelings, resulting in emotional withdrawal.
Both syndromes illustrate how a partner's emotional neglect can culminate in unexpected separations, leaving the other partner astounded. They highlight the importance of mutual communication and emotional acknowledgment in maintaining a healthy relationship. Ultimately, when one partner disengages and feels unsupported, the relationship's foundation can crumble, leading to isolation and departure.
Do I Have To Financially Support My Wife During Separation?
Spousal support, commonly known as alimony, is a vital legal responsibility requiring one spouse to provide financial assistance to the other during or after separation or divorce. For those pursuing spousal support amidst a legal separation, proof of financial need and the ability of the partner to pay is essential. The complexities of managing finances during separation can be overwhelming, encompassing responsibilities like child care, shared debts, legal fees, and the establishment of new budgets.
Despite remaining legally married in a separation, the court delineates property and debt divisions while ordering financial support. The dependent spouse has the inherent right to spousal support to maintain their quality of life. Historically, the financially responsible partner—often the husband—was obligated to support their spouse. During this transitional phase, operating with financial independence is advisable.
Applying for post-separation support can offer critical assistance, and while spousal support is often associated with divorce proceedings, it can also arise during legal separations. Eligibility for such support requires demonstrating financial dependence. However, without a court order, the obligation to provide financial support does not exist unless specified by law. A thorough evaluation of shared finances and professional advice is recommended for both parties during this process.
Can I Ask My Partner To Leave?
If you're uncertain about asking your partner to leave, consult a family lawyer who can clarify your rights regarding separation. It’s not advisable to approach this without guidance. When both partners want to separate but disagree on who moves out, you may have the right to compel your spouse to leave, provided certain legal conditions are met. North Carolina divorce law does not offer straightforward mechanisms for this.
In this context, it’s vital to understand your options when your spouse insists on staying. If negotiations fail and your partner refuses to leave, legal action may become necessary. Begin by directly asking your spouse to vacate, being firm yet non-confrontational, and set a reasonable timeline for their departure. However, in cases involving domestic abuse, legal action such as an occupation order may be required to enforce the move.
Before initiating your departure from the marital home, consider your financial obligations—mortgage, utilities, and other costs—while negotiating temporary living arrangements. If your lease is at stake, reviewing the lease terms might present options for assuming the lease alone or securing a new roommate.
If you wish to regain your space, it’s pivotal to plan the conversation with your spouse thoughtfully. You might also seek professional legal assistance to navigate the intricacies of your situation effectively. Ultimately, communicating clearly and calmly can aid in managing this transition. Remember, understanding your legal rights and responsibilities is crucial to making informed decisions during this challenging period.
How To Live With A Husband Who Doesn'T Care About You?
To address feelings of neglect in your marriage, it's vital to communicate openly with your husband. Use "I" statements to express how his actions impact you, like saying, "I feel neglected when…" Establish clear boundaries and expectations for the care and acknowledgment you need from him. If he dismisses your feelings or insists he is always right, it may create an emotional chasm leading to resentment. If he doesn’t show physical affection or care about your loved ones, these too are signs of emotional disconnect.
Consider engaging a relationship coach for guidance, focusing on actions you can control. Positively influence your relationship by rekindling romance, giving sincere compliments, and rediscovering affection. Instead of sliding into isolation, remind yourself of the qualities you cherish in your husband and articulate these to him. Initiate loving conversations and model respectful communication to foster a more supportive environment.
Address the possible reasons behind his behavior, and don’t hesitate to suggest marriage counseling if needed. Understanding and dealing with the emotional aspects of your relationship can help restore deeper connections.
What Happens If You Leave A Family Home?
Leaving the family home does not forfeit your rights regarding financial settlements or property access. If your spouse denies you re-entry, you can seek legal recourse through the court. When considering moving out, having the other spouse’s consent may help mitigate allegations of abandonment, so open communication and legal advice are crucial. In the U. S., there are 17 no-fault divorce states, which may affect your rights upon separation. You retain property and custody rights as long as your name is on the deed or mortgage, regardless of who moves out first.
Situations may differ by state regarding abandonment, which typically involves a spouse leaving with the intent not to return. While moving out is legal during divorce proceedings, it could complicate future claims to the marital home or custody of minor children, thus discussions with your spouse are advisable before leaving. Leaving due to issues like cruelty may constitute constructive abandonment.
Although you maintain rights to the property, leaving could hinder negotiations for financial settlements. Both parties can sell the home and agree on dividing profits. Additionally, moving out might also incur future tax liabilities, warranting further legal and financial advice.
How To Cope When Your Husband Leaves You?
When dealing with the emotional upheaval of a spouse leaving, it's crucial to take certain steps for healing and support. Start by acknowledging your feelings and allowing yourself to grieve the loss of the relationship. Seek support from trusted friends or family members who can provide emotional comfort. Establish boundaries by limiting contact with your husband to create necessary space for yourself. Avoid begging or drastic actions, as they can lead to further emotional turmoil.
Instead, focus on practical solutions like selling items you don’t need or seeking loans from family. Remember, it’s important to document everything related to the separation and to protect your family’s stability. Give yourself time to process your emotions, and find healthy outlets for grief, whether through writing, therapy, or physical activity. Engage with friends and family or explore new hobbies to help shift your focus. Life after separation can be challenging, but it’s essential to approach it with patience, compassion, and determination.
Lastly, remember to care for your physical health, eat well, and rest whenever possible, as self-care is vital during this difficult time. Ultimately, it's important to recognize that you are better off without someone who disrespects you. Embrace your newfound independence and focus on your well-being.
What Does My Husband Have To Pay If He Leaves?
In divorce situations, understanding financial responsibilities is crucial. If a home or lease is solely in one spouse's name, that person is responsible for paying rent, mortgage, and bills, regardless of occupancy. The spouse who moves out remains liable for their share of any joint debts, including mortgages, car payments, and property-related expenses. Typically, the spouse whose name appears on the bills is responsible for timely payments. In cases of joint debts like mortgages or credit cards, both spouses are generally liable.
If a husband leaves the marital home, mortgage obligations become significant, often relying on the mortgage agreement's terms. During divorce proceedings, various expenses must be addressed, such as housing costs, utility bills, and other familial expenses, which usually depend on whose name is on the accounts. Some states mandate shared responsibilities for necessary expenses, even without explicit agreements. If one spouse refuses to cover expenses, especially after a separation, the other may seek legal recourse to secure payment.
Moreover, any pre-marital debt typically remains with the individual, and spousal support may be considered, based on income disparities. In complicated financial situations, keeping thorough records of all communications and accounts is advisable for effective management and negotiations.
📹 10 Things You Must Know Before Separating From Your Husband
Relationships #relationshiptips #marriage 10 Things You Must Know Before Separating From Your Husband 00:05 How do I begin …
Currently going through my partner cheating on me while I was about 2 months postpartum after having our daughter. He’s admitted to it happening twice but I don’t believe that it didn’t happen more than that. It’s literally the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life. The ultimate betrayal. Ive always wanted my daughter to have both parents together like I did my whole life but I’ve now come to realize that doesn’t mean it has to be with her father if it’s toxic. I’m now in the stage of taking time and healing, trying to move on. God give me strength 🙏🏻
I have gone through these comments and l feel so much for any woman going through this. It is quite scary the world we live in right now with these red pill men who think cheating is their right as men. I pray that every woman can find love and acceptance in God and within herself before she finds it in a man.
I still cant fathom how other women can forgive cheating husband. I know its hard because wife can face financial struggles after separation or divorce. Especially with kids involve. Being cheated on means a chance for you to find love somewhere else. Or just be finally happy with yourself again. For real. I might be wrong but women deserve to be truly happy after cheating.
Answer from an overcomer> just be as quick as you can and forgive!!!!! And do not get bitter/ have high expectations and walk in faith/ love yourself and make sure you are better then you were before the break up!!! Inside out/ just make sure you are the best of yourself without hatred without gossip without bitterness/just go into prayers and make sure you do not do anyone wrong/ even pray for that cheating @guy@ and stop saying he is yours….Just cut off all contacts and save yourself from worsed.
This is excellent advice for someone who is sincerely apologetic & able to mature from past mistakes and move forward. But if you’re married to a habitual or pathological liar…you need to accept the fact that you had red flags long before now…and that the only way out is to separate yourself from the deception & ongoing toxicity, altogether. As much as it hurts, when it’s time to divorce….do it or you will subtract from your own self worth, peace and genuine happiness! Sorry.
Why should anyone stay with a cheater? They don’t care about your feelings or else they never would have cheated in the first place. I have never know a cheater who didn’t cheat again and again. they may be sorry they did it but it won’t stop them from doing it again. I have been with 3 different cheating men. All of them I tried these things with in this article to try to work it out. All of them cheated again. One of them I didn’t leave until after the 5th time he cheated on me. They don’t stop. They just get get more clever on how to hide it so you won’t find out. Yes, you love them but they don’t love you back the same way or they wouldn’t cheat. Leave them and save yourself years of heartache. There are people like you out there that won’t cheat. I finally found one and we have been together for 14 years now with no problems like that. Once they have cheated you will never trust them again. You will always wonder why they are so late getting home from work or why they spent 4 hours at the hardware store buying a hammer or why they sit in the bathroom for an hour texting. Why their phone is locked, why they have cologne in the car, why they get up a leave the room when their phone rings, why they don’t want dinner that night after getting home late. The list goes on and on and you know all the things I am talking about. Don’t put yourself though all the pain and heartache. Leave and then throw yourself into making yourself happy. Find a job you love. Find a fun hobby, Go out with friends.
This happened to me today my husband was texting another woman and I felt like I was worthless. I got so upset that begged him not to leave and when he left i started cutting myself like I used to when I was little. Now that I think of it I feel stupid for crying for a man who doesn’t deserve to be with me.
How in the world do I even try to get over this pain!? It’s been 10 months that my husband cheated and left me for a younger woman. I hearts desire is to reconcile our marriage, but he’s out there living his best life and acts like I do not exist. I don’t know how to fight for my marriage or if I should even try to? I just need this pain to stop.
The pain of discovering infidelity is like no other. My husband of 27 years cheated on our marriage for at least 1 year with his married coworker. MY FAMILY AND I DISCOVERED THEIR AFFAIR WHO.E WE WERE ON OUR FAMILY VACATION! His mistress was following us! She was in her home in Salmon Arm Canada and we were in NEW ORLEANS! SHE WAS FOLLOWING WHERE WE WERE AND WHAT WE WERE DOING!!
1. Get a skilled divorce lawyer. And yes, no revenge, no using kids. Judges hayride that. 2. Get a private detective to obtain evidence of cheating. 3. Have an exit/escape policy that focuses on your bodily well bing and your. financial position. 4. Only communicate with the cheater if your lawyer is present and it is recorded. 5. Do no try to reconcile before the divorce is final. If you want him later, you can get remarried. Forgiveness does not mean no consequences. 6. Don’t protect his reputation. No need to broadcast it. No need to hide it. You did not ruin his reputation, or shame him…he did. 7. Never be alone. Ever.
LEAVE HIM!!! Don’t stay with a cheater!! Don’t give them another chance in my honest opinion. Especially once they kissed, or had sex with the other person. RESPECT YOURSELF AND SAY GOOD BYE TO HIM! Then let yourself heal. Divorce is an option, you are no forced to be with someone who showed you that they don’t care about you
I definitely sought revenge. I cheated back. It made me feel a little bit better and felt like i didnt just get ran over. He cheated so many times. But i didnt know yet. And theeeennnn he threatened to leave me. I had to even the score to not feel completely cheated. Cheating is not even in my character but i did it out of spite. Ill be remaining Celibate until i get remarried again if i even do. Clearly so many dont respect and value marriage even if they say they do. Divorce makes marriage so obsolete. If you can opt out of a til death do us part vow. What’s the freaking point.
I got married in 2015 to an 8 yrs older man. I trusted him, I liked him and I married him. But since the marriage he’s been cheating on me for his ex and prostitutes. He’s alcoholic he takes drugs. I’ve a 5 yrs old daughter. I’m raising her right but I’m completely broken and shattered. I have lost my life and he didn’t even care. It hurts more than anything.. and I don’t know what to do 🙁
I am nine months pregnant and because of my insecurities I am just troubling my baby .My husband finds more intrest in chat webs I have deleted more than twice bt he find chatting apps more convincing so he keeps on downloading .I left my parents n siblings .my family was against our love n now every single day I regret y I chose this path
a lot of people say once you cheat you’re always a cheater but the devil is a liar 🤥 if you can mention God you must know God can clean anyones heart and heal anyone and can answer our prayers. a cheater is confused or just wants a poly relationship and feels that they cannot openly have that and they can. if you believe in God don’t condemn others and believe the best not the worst
My soon to be x is definitely and narcissist ontop of that, he cheated and I have physical proof and text messages. He’s very vile and abusive and that’s why I left him. I’m 350 miles away and refuse to go back. This is my time to repair all the damage and thank god, we have no kids together. I wish you all the best.
Thanks so much my brother and your team for helping couples in their relationships the most dangerous game in our lives please women let’s not force ourselves in relationships which doesn’t work if we want our relationships to work it must be both of us not only 1 person let’s be careful of third-party in our relationships or marriages 💖
My husband is being very dishonest with me. It’s as if everyone around me is laughing at me because of my marriage. He tells others his half truths/omissions yet he continues to lie to me and abuse me. It has broken the trust and I don’t even know if we can be friends after the breakup. I don’t think I ever did anything to him to deserve such horrible treatment from him. I only tried to help him yet his goal is to try to hurt me. It’s as if he is blaming me for his sins. I can’t trust him with my children either.
I just found out my husband cheated for the second time. The first time was 2019 and I forgave him for the kids sake. I jsy found out a few weeks back he cheated again and the sad part of everything was that i suspected something was off but due to the fact that he lied i believed him until the wife of the other women phoned me. Its still so raw and I have supa mixed emotions I feel like divorcing him at this point but I can not tell you how much the kids love him. I threw him out when I found out and for the 2weeks he was gone they were sad and broken along with me and kept asking for him. He is now begging me back. He is even seeing a psychologists and was diagnosed with bipolar and heavy depression. I went with hm for a session friday. He is now trying to save our marrigae he is working so hard on convincing me that he is sorry ect. But im now so done and over him my trust is broken and beaten. I neva suspected he would do it a sec time cos this time we had no probs at all. I am praying for God to give me some kind of miracle in how I can solve this so my kids can heal and have their dad but for now i feel supa supa sad and I cannot forgive him. WHAT DO I DO?????
I am perusal this because, I thought I have a perfect man. He has been cheating on me before and after he proposed to me and our wedding is in 2months. He told me everything I couldn’t have suspected anything…. I am really broken but I still talk to him and act normal but I really don’t know what to do…
My ex lied, cheated, abused me and the kids. Since I did not see him cheat with my own eyes he said Well if you don’t catch me cheating how can you say I cheated, don’t I come home to you at night? Dude was fake. He still acts like I was wrong, he was not from God. Thank God for divorce. No going back.
So don’t share with your support group (family, friends or family) he can cheat and destroy the family but don’t have a support system! Cheating is a character flaw! Cheaters don’t change. If they are a narcissist they won’t change but cheat again, they don’t change! Don’t try to fix this brokenness because they will do it again.
This is the common problem most of the women’s r facing..At present time I feel that marriage is a very bad decision…because after marriage each one of us facing one or other issue regarding relationships..on one is satisfied…so why I should spoil it while life after this…it will be better if we spent our time with oneself n find out what really we want to remain happy throughout the life…once we get married we r stuck in many emotional family dramas n responsibility..n have to live depressed life..so enjoy it one life rather run after this uncertain life in relationships
My partner cheated on me because we are unable to get pregnant we were so pose to get check out if there is any problems and he toke this woman in our home to have sex while I was at working,I found out because she texted me to say she is pregnant and she makes him happy and pictures in the bed them out together she went as far as leaving underwear at the house,I was so broken but God has been my peace .
What do you do if the relationship has always had lies and it has grown into more poor behavior over a few years . When you give the other person enough time to make it better and they don’t then start trying to get attention from other women now and go out to the bars by himself . How much expectance and time to make things better should there be . I have not changed myself, I have not done anything different or anything against him . I don’t go out, I take care of everything, and don’t have friends at this point that I talk with . This has turned into a one sided relationship where I communicate all the time and he doesn’t .
I am 8 months pregnant with 1. 8 years baby girl I just came to find that he has been cheating with different ladies but when I caught him and told him about it he kicked me out of the house ..I just feel heartbroken, used, but am trying to be strong for the sake of my kids but it’s hard sometimes I feel like crying throughout, it’s hurting me alot
What if he keeps deleting there text msg? Then tells me i don’t have the right to look at his phone even though we’re married? His phone is always stuck to his hand, he’s texting someone when we’re perusal movies. When i asked, no response. Or he would just get mad and start yelling at me . I’m not angry or crying anymore . I’m numb and my tears comes when I’m alone .
gave my man 11 years, thought it was forever only for me to find out he is cheating, he left me to “heal” himself. but he doesnt wan to stop talking to these women because he doesn’t want to be alone. smh we are living in the same house till december. what can i do to show him i am moving on? and not need him?
After 13 Years marriage, He cheated on me. He is 10 years older than me, and in relation with someone 20 years younger than him!! He is so kind to me. He is with me and he is not. In every look and moment of his life, he missed the other one. I have tried to take it by myself for 10 months and did not talk to him, may he got tired and back, but not. Even when I told him, I knew, He did not deny or accept. He did not apologized. He continued to see her. What should I do?
My live in boyfriend of 8 years got busted yesterday, he was searching on google for a woman he cheated on me with 6yrs ago. He likes to drink so I poured out most of his apple crown royal and replaced it with water, bbq sauce, soy sauce (for color) and orange juice…does that count as revenge 😎✌️ If so guess I flunked lol.
So what do you do if your completely done and don’t want to give him anymore chances? He is a narcissist as well and because of this on top of his cheating I’ve decided I’m done. He wants me to be ok with everything and understand. He has become very bothered that I’m not bothered by what he has done and he is bothered that I’m moving on and I’m not devastated over him. I’m pretty glad actually.I haven’t been in love with him for a very long time and I was just hanging in there because I didn’t want to hurt him.had he told me I would have been happy about it and there wouldn’t have been any drama at all. I feel so empowered now that I know I don’t have to be with him anymore. He seriously underestimated me. Lol. At least this can end without me being an asshole like he was. I also have all the evidence I’m going to need to sue him for alimony.
I just found out my partner has been cheating on me. We are not married yet, planning on getting married ending of the year though. I am so broken right now, we’ve been together for 8years and he has always cheated, we have talked about it several times and I forgave him. Just tonight, I found out he is into it again. I am not ready to talk to him about it right now, I just packed my clothes and left his house.
Hi all I have a question to ask all men out there, including the coach please. If you catch your wife or girlfriend chatting/ meeting other people and lying to you, what would you do? Will you do? Will you leave her, give her another chance or will you take revenge? If you do give her a chance, will you start to control her like keep track of everything of hers, check on her every hour and if she does not respond then you accuse her off cheating, create issues and punish her just because of what she did in the past? And to all the women- would you tolerate these kind of toxic and controlling behaviour from the guy? Looking forward to the answers Thanks
I tried seeking revenge when i found out about the child that only hurt me. I though we managed to salvage that part and move on but then he was not remorseful at all for what he did then he expected me to get over it, now he is on a high horse throwing even more disrespect. I suppressed my feelings for 5 years few nights ago I popped off and Lord knows I wanted to knock the shit out of him that’s when I noticed this relationship is really over. I am finally done, I have had enough of the emotional and mental abuse because now I am turning into a verbal abuser I feel anger I shouldn’t and pain I can’t even explain. I am now seeking a way out this situation with my son getting little to no hurt from it.
Cheating is a bad decision? No. It’s the breaking of an oath. It’s more than a bad decision. If you reconcile, you will be living with a cheater, sleeping with a cheater, choosing to trust a cheater. Reconciliation can happen. I’ve seen it. But it never happens or lasts if you both don’t call a spade a spade. Cheating is a bell you cannot unring, but you can admit to hearing the siund, every day, but if it’s not rung again it will quiet down…but it will always ring, and if you ignore that it’s at your own peril.
It’s really hard to swallow when you find out about their affair! It destroys you inside and very hard to heal from even though I divorced him didn’t make it any easier, just said now you can do whatever you want. If they do it once, they’ll do it again, then you find out there’s been more…mostly one night stands, but his affair lasted 4 years or longer,,so I filed for divorce. Such jerks! Especially when you’ve been loyal.
How do you trust someone who’s cheated&lies to u for many years.? When he puts a code on his phone & tells me I’m to nosy&that he will keep the code on his phone.hes online talking to women on dating sites, says he divorced on Facebook & has me blocked on facebook.what would u do? I’m fixing to leave him he has no respect for me&behind my back he talks badly about me.
So tempting to air out your problems because it doesn’t cost you a cent. Now you need to pay for a therapist (who may not even be compatible for you) to air your pain and wait for weekly appointments while there is someone (family or friend) ready to take your call even at 1AM in the morning…very very hard
My partner of 20years, he never married me, and just 3weeks ago, I found out he’s been seeing and sleeping with someone else! He admitted and told me he’s not stopping! He wants to continue seeing her and eventually leave me!! My world crumbled down, my heart aches! Just don’t know how to deal with this tremendous pain!! And my 2daughters, 13 and 17 are suffering also!!!😢
A husband cheats then notices his wife eye is on him,he tries to be good for a while making settings with the different lady & again proofs his good to you,you then later start trusting him, but after a while its the same, talking in public i just messaged her or i just called her this does not mean am cheating he says & all justification blaa, blaa, …this happen every few days its like breaking your heart every time & then getting it plastered its horrible….I have been with him for 13years & i dont understand how to save my marriage
Wow I wish I watched this before taking revenge on my cheating boyfriend…. it let to a change in my character i starter fighting back as a result i became violent… I break his phone, laptop, after seeing his conversations …he slapped me… I hit a fan on him…. gradually i became a violent young lady….laat week i shoot a glass at his face☹☹… cheating has ruined our relationship what hurt me was because I was 100% all about him
I am married to this man for 8 years. Got two beautiful sons and last week I got to know he is cheating on me. And firstly he was denying and keep arguing with me and today he accepted when I got the proof that he did it. What should I do he will change if I give him a chance or keep cheating me in future.
I can verify what you have said. Fortunately the relationship I witnessed had the best outcome even though it took 5 years for trust to be rebuilt and 10 years later is strong, healthy and fulfilling for both partners. It is better than before. I pray that those dealing with this can trust God for help knowing that he is at work in the relationship no matter the outcome. You will get through this and will live in happiness once again. 🏆
My husband, a police officer, had, and is essentially having an affair, with a woman (that I know/knew, from dispatch, and he left me for her. I worked amongst both of them, as I am a correctional officer. I work around both of them. He tricked me into be okay with him moving in with her, as a friend, because the cost was cheap and I thought he’d come back. Turns out, he cheated with her, on me, for months and months. He pledged his undying love for me our whole relationship. I have been unable to move past this. We work around each other and he had a double life for who knows how long. Advice, please.
I’ve been cheated on June 2020 because I cant bare a child anymore. I ask him to choose and he choose me and ive forgiven him. Dec 2020 he cheat again with a different woman, he ask forgiveness and i forgive… I love him so much… just last night ive read a convo of him in viber with 2 different girls… he is cheating again… i don’t know what to do now. 😭😭😭
Am with this guy 2 years now, my biggest mistake was to tell him knew things that I have been true with other relationships and I told him what I hate about men who cheat and the things that I have been true And i don’t want it with u and the things them that I warn him about . That’s what he’s doing. And it coming like am reliving my past
I guess I’m the stupid person enought to love and forgive this dauchebag who’s been cheating on me the whole time in our relationship he left us alone when my son just 2 year old. And finally now I’m learning to live only just me and my son.. finally I got tired of trying to understand this stupid shit. Now time for me to rebuild and back into life God please help me🙏🙏🙏
Okay so my gf cheated on me 5 times i had to find it out myself and talk about it with her she told me she “forgot” to tell me. plus she always used to tell me that she doesnt like sexual stuff.. and i talked about it with her bsf she said that she was really into me which i dont believe at all, because if she did then she wouldnt have done this lol, she replaced me and expected me not to care is okay but when i did it, it means i never loved her, like excuse me? idk man its just shitty

I just found out my partner’s infidelity. He’s been cheating for 3yrs. Sleeping wd countless women. It’s been a month since I found out. I’m having trouble accepting what he did. I chose to stay coz I’m pregnant now, and our eldest daughter is so into her dad. We are trying to work it out. But it hunts me, what he did specifically there are convos and articles of lewd stuff. I need help to go thru this. I’m worried about my baby, my pregnancy. I’m so mentally and emotionally drained.
Thank you for the article. I work full-time, committed wife, and I’ve been married to a military service member for 13 years. He cheated on me physically 3 times, is a pro at gaslighting, he lies, doesnt wear his wedding band, creates different social media pages for himself (not mentioning his wife or kids), BUT he does anything I ask, buys whatever I need, pays the bills, cooks, cleans, we are a good team, but the lies and cheating are always there. (Not to mention, I’m a Christian and he’s not.) What do I do?
What about if the trust keeps being broken? Like he did cheat, then 2 years pass and you’ve gained his trust all over again….only for him to cheat again. But this time it was on his phone on a dating app. So now the trust is broken, again. And now his phone is a big factor. I can’t exactly take it away…he needs a phone for work. This all just happened within the last 2 weeks so I understand it’s going to take more time….but dammit every time he picks up his phone I was to lunge across the room and smash it against the wall 😑
I am confused right now, I been married to my husband for 17 years, and we have 4 children, I been faithful to him, and the return just cheated on me, it was last year, I caught him flirting with a woman overseas through online, they been chatting probably for 4 days and I confronted him, and he just say sorry to me and promise me not to do it again, it’s kind of difficult for me to forgive him because I trusted him so much and this is what he did betrayed me, time to time I’m fighting with him, I think I did not forgive him yet, I felt like leaving him right now, but I am also thinking about our kids, I just couldn’t trust him anymore…any advice that would help….
I’m cheated by two people who I loved most 1st I loved a boy he left me because he said I’ve been hurting him, eventhought it’s not true I made apologise from Jim But he left me for another girl who is more beautiful and thin than Me After that I fall in a relationship with another boy he loved me unconditionally But we met through online When we met he left me because he felt that my appearance is not good enough I just searched love But they two cheated on me It’s painful 😭😭😭😭
my bf lies to me when we met, he told me he is single, but after two months, I found out he is going to Japan to meet his ex(or maybe they didn’t break up at all), he saying he is afraid of losing me so he could not tell me, he said he was visiting his ex in Japan just to verify if he really mentally get rid of her or not because he was confused, then he texted me on airplane WiFi flight to japan that he regretted, and he did not enjoy the entire trip, then he came back to me stating they are over, he loves me. later after another 2 months, I found out he has someone engaged in his hometown Egypt (in fact he visited Egypt one week fire japan trip, Dated me in between these trips too) but he was saying he was forced by his family to take “family responsibility” since he has been single for years after previous devoice 6 years ago, otherwise he will be kicked out of the house, he told me he does not love that person at all it’s just for the sake of she is taking of his mom in his home town, then I could not stand for this, we broke up, but after one week we are back again, now, after another 4 months, recently I just found out he has been using online dating tool and met one Taiwanese girl who travelled here (nothing happened though) and they chatted for 3-4 months long, I found out via that girl on social media (she was innocent didn’t know anything), in fact it’s the first time he decided to end their relationship as its long distance, he and posted me a ring afterwards. I received the ring 1 day before I found out about Theus girl.
Frankly, I’m tired of taking”the high road”! I want him to hurt just like he hurt me! All this preserve your character mumbo-jumbo and taking time to rebuild trust just sets you up for more hurt. Whi!e you’re being about character, he’s being about his own self! No, I will do everything I can to reciprocate the pain and hurt he caused! I’m done with perusal him get away with everything. No more!! If that makes me crazy, then so be it! Besides, you’re a man. Of course you’re going to want women to make things easy and be soft and calm. Screw that!
my issue is that I just found out last night, but he leaves again in 3 days (he’s in the military) so that’s not at all enough time to regain trust and how am I supposed to learn how to trust him again when he’s over 1000 miles away doing who knows what with who knows who. I’m not even mad at him I am just so hurt
To find out that a narcissist is cheating is not very difficult. They will find reasons to disappear, their phones will be put under a hundred passwords or a fingerprint password, they will rush out of the room to answer a phone call, their appearance will change like new haircut, new clothes etc. You will notice some new words or phrases they started to use commonly, they will find new hobbies that barely suit their lifestyle, their general behavior will change (they are mirroring their new partner). Basically, a narcissist will subconsiously give you a hell lot of hints, also your gut feeling is surely gonna suspect some shady stuff going on. Trust it no matter what a narcissist tells you. However, it might be extremely hard to CATCH a narcissist cheating. They will deny everything by all means, it is impossible to make them confess. Even if you catch your narc with another person in your own bed, prepare to hear 1000 and 1 more explanation of what REALLY happened. They are really good at hiding things and lying to people’s faces so you might never actually get them exposed, but you will surely know that sh*t is happening. You can hire a cyber expert to help you get remote access to their phone so you can track them and monitor all of their activities without them knowing. You may locate the top cyber specialists locally at Metaspyhub@gmail. com, where you can engage a well-trained professional to assist you.
“A bad decision doesn’t have to effect a person’s character FOR LIFE” i needed to hear that. I cheated on the woman I love. I am eternally remorseful and truly regret my poor decisions. I also think it is rather cruel that most people on these comments act like the person who cheated isn’t also an imperfect human and act as though they should burn in hell for eternity for a one time mistake.
Been with my husband for 16 years and he’s cheated 5 time 2 was best friends of mine. It’s totally destroying me my hole life has fallen apart. I’m taking mood stabilisers tablets coz I just can’t get back on track . I have no friends no as I can’t go though this again . He’s says he will never do it again but in my hart I know he will and it’s like I’m stuck going over this all the time it’s destroying me I have bad dreams and feel sick when a no I’d call comes tho . I know I should leave him but can’t bring myself to I have been totally loyal to him I wouldn’t look at another man
nothing More lonely than being in the wrong relationship, I used to think checking your partner’s phone was an invasion of their privacy but then I thought about it again. How can you give someone access to your private body but phones are off limits? At the time my ex was acting suspicious so I contacted ALMOD genius and he gave me full access to my ex sms, article calls, and social media accounts, so now i’m free from his lies and deceits, i’m grateful to almod forever
was very hurt. 25yrs.marriage. told his friends and my close friends because i was pissed. they protected him of course. protected the other chic as they was close friend circle with her and I was just the wife I guess. she claim he said he was unhappy and not valued and not respected in our marriage but never ask for divorce or allowed me to leave. or let me know he wanted to go.
Why would a husband lie for many years about infidelity – even after the wife keeps telling him she has a gut feeling about it. The wife sees the way they look at each other. The “by coincidence” things added up to something going on between them. It is his own brother’s wife. So WHY does he allow the woman he claims to love to keep being labeled “crazy”. Is a narcissistic woman that good at gaslighting her? The in-law said she would never have an affair with her own brother-in-law. Why didn’t she just answer “no” when she was asked if she had an affair with him? Why does he almost break his neck to see if they are home when driving by their house and so many more “things”? Why, why, why does he keep lying that he never touched her for many, many, years?
Hi…I am a 44 year old woman. Divorced 10 years now. My question is.. if staying true to your morals and character leave you alone . Is it still a good thing. Seems like I keep getting in situations with men….where the relationship only lasts if I keep looking the other way. Soon as I try to call them out on there bull crap. I’m either crazy, or it is requested for me to furbish proff and or scenarios on how he is even finding the opportunity to cheat. Do I just accept this fate? Or do NOT accept it and end up by myself. I do like being by myself a whole lot more than being alone. And that’s how it feels when your love is cheating on you. It feels very lonely.
After 20 years of marriage and 2 kids he asks for a divorce. He says he is the monster and has no one he wantsto leave me for. Then he confesses that during our time he had at least 20 people, men and women and some of them were just old enough to graduate high school… unprotected sex with most… possible pregnancies… He is almost 50 years old, has a severe mental illness, have been diagnosed recently… I always loved him and never stepped out on our marriage. He was a soldier for 20 years, I was his shadow, followed him everywhere and supported him. He tells me I am a fool for being with him. I just recently got my degree and we were looking at buying our dream home… this is not the life I imagined I would have. I left my country and family to be with him in the United States… How do I survive that?

I need your advice, this is my second marriage and of my husbands it is third marriage. The one ofvthe reason behind earlier breaking of my husband’s is mairrage is his cheating. I was not ready to marry my husband but my parents forced me. Later after marriage I used to like my husband but many of his activities make me suspicious that is he lying or cheating with me ??? What to do how to get out of this uncertainty???
I have been with my husband for 38 years. We had a great relationship and sex at least three times a week usually five years ago he had an ongoing relationship with a prostitute who was 22 years old. I have tried to talk to him as I had a breakdown. He claims he doesn’t screw around anymore but he still has all the signs. Since I read the text from The prostitute 5 years ago our relationship in every way is no longer what are used to be. We don’t kiss hug have sex I guess you could say our emotional bond is gone. I can’t afford to leave and he won’t. I don’t understand why he still here. The pain is just as bad as it was 5 years ago. My life is just hell. Why he did this and has fooled around is driving me crazy. She doesn’t seem to care.
I really needed this I love my husband and want it to work he have to too and stay transparent he say I’m worried about other female (not true) him Inetertaining other female and tryna be slick for getting we know one another…that hurt me and even though I love him I choosed to step back because I need some time to think because it can’t happen again and I won’t do toc for tac even though I’m mad and upset with him he got my heart and it’s crazy….I needed this advice Peace Love and Many Blessings

Cheating not only hurts the marriage but break the family up. My ex husband…JRR …the initials. Cheated on me throughout the marriage. Well I divorced him 14 years ago. But what he didn’t know is right before we faced the judge a month before…I took a man to our former bed. Do I regret it? No. But I got him to be a deer with antlers meanwhile we were still married. Lol…but seriously the pain doesn’t go away. The mistrust men. I’ve gotten to the point that I just can’t open my heart like I’ve done 27 years ago. Cheating does hurt.
My husband and have married for 10 years with three kids, within that 10 year period my husband has been cheating with a lot of woman,he hides his mobile phone from me,he hardly communicate with me,everytime i found out about a woman he would move to the next woman,i am tied and i want to go my seperate way with my three children……please i need your advise❤❤❤❤God bless
Thanks so much, but how do i deal with a husband that has confessed and ask for forgiveness, even went ahead to make some positive changes to make our relationship seems better, but still keeps in touch with these strange women ( secrtely) and friends that encourages infidelity. And he tries now to be smarter at it. How do I keep myself sane and safe in this scenario? It’s so painful
Good one… Cheating is a choice which the partner has selected already… I feel both the cheater and his/her partner in this cheating (the female/male) should be punished by God severely. They should get back the results of their karmas… The way they spoilt someone’s life, they should get it back from god’s end.
I seriously want someone to teach me, how to grow in these things. I have had many relationships and most of them ended in straight out cheating. I’m unable to trust any words now. It’s horrible. Throughout my life I’ve been outperformer in academics and career but this shit undermines my progress so much. I seriously need help. It’s exhausting.
I am married frm 23yrs…my husband cheated me n I came to know this on our 21st anniversary…my kids saw his pics with his girlfriend….n since last 7 to 8 yrs he is not even earning good and not taking care of family….he wants to be with family n trying to improve also..but I n my kids hve lost respect n love for him…don’t kniw what to do…
My boyfriend promisedn not to talk to some gal and I think he was catching feelings for her when I was away……so now after the promise he went ahead to talk to her and even his her contact….but you know God always reveals….I asked him and he was out of words so now..he deleted WhatsApp and stul promised not to do it again……..whatbshouldi do bcoz I feel so mad???
Yea goes to church but he still does caught him talking to someone on phone about be patient. While I was in next stall Wth well I seen his character All I have been is loyal to someone that never deserved it Or me when I can give it to someone else. It’s too late for that… It’s been a secret for too long he keeps her hidden.
My boyfriend of 3 months has lied to me about having children. I just found out he has 2 kids. I instantly dropped him but I’m sad about it and he didn’t take it serious at all. He was just laughing about it saying that he wanted me to find out on my own. He texted me saying he is sorry and that he get so guilty and he didn’t wanna tell me to ruin anything. I have 1 child myself and I have been completely honest with him. I’m just gonna leave him alone I can’t trust him at all. And I’m already pregnant by him I regret it so much. How can you lie to me about children?? Obviously he doesn’t take care of them and won’t be taking care of mine
Sadly ..a leopard never changes it’s spots..If the behavior is repetitive..I would leave..I’m not his mom..I’m not his psychiatrist..not his Pastor,..this ongoing behavior can damage u and leave you feeling unworthy..take time out to heal..and if you need to shut that door ✋then do it for you.. infidelity stems from deep within.
I don’t think marriage is in my list any longer, the only man I loved because of him my parents rejected me for good 18yrs of marriage he cheats all the time he lies, to spend on me is a problem, he doesn’t care about my feelings I suffered for 18yrs be4 i took my stand I left, the second man I meet again same thing, this second one promised never to disappoint or treat me the way the first did, no difference btw the two men I have meet I have decided to stay on my own and face my focus, the first always sleep with my tenants on our bed, buy phone and things for he’s girlfriend outside but I don’t have phone then, everyday I cry when my kids has gone to school, it’s a long story marriage is not in my list anymore
My bf cheated on me when I was working whole day and he was not working I had to do everything for him but also he cheated on me, when I got a proofs and showed him he kicked on my stomach and hurt me instead of saying sorry and I cried a lots and left him again he came back after 1 months and saying we should get marry he loves me only I have no idea should I give him chance I’m in trouble
You really want to make a cheater a “partner” when he’s not. I don’t remember hearing you say this is the deepest pain a woman can experience aside from the loss of a child. Anger is hurt they are one and the same. The man that cheats has no excuse. He could have taken several other directions. The woman who is hurting may never recover.
Saw his fake profile which had nothing but why he needs a fake profile on insta with a girl’s name? He’s looking for options to cheat and also He’s a liar he went to bankok and lied to me that he went somewhere else until I caught him by checking his location on phone and then he was sorry. What to do?
My 15year married 20year together husband left one night suddenly. Found out he has a woman he met at work. Since he keep coming back to me and her. When he argues with her he came back to me. I have been keep forgiving him. Tonight he betrayed me again. I am now letting him go. He loves her and nothing I can do. She is much younger than me and he said she understand him better than me. So I good bye him now. Painful..
