How To Establish An Emotional Bond With God?

4.0 rating based on 100 ratings

In the movie “The Forbidden Kingdom”, Jackie Chan plays a role of a kung fu master trying to teach young Jason Tripitikas the art of kung fu. When feeling far away from God, the natural response is to develop a habit of praying daily. This is one way to strengthen your relationship with God, fostering a stronger spiritual connection and experiencing profound spiritual growth.

To stay connected to God, it takes a daily commitment, discipline, and renewed focus to keep Him first. Life gets in the way, and we look for intimacy with God in all the wrong places. To pursue deep and rich intimacy with the God of the Bible, it is essential to figure out how you personally connect with God on a daily basis.

Exploring the intersection of biblical teaching and psychological principles can help you cultivate a closer relationship with God. Engaging emotions ultimately means engaging God, the Giver of emotions. By facing our emotions, journaling our thoughts, studying His Word, leaning into our relationship with Him, and expressing gratitude, we open ourselves to His presence.

To create a heart connection with God, we should examine and acknowledge the condition of our heart, keep talking to God until your heart changes, and don’t gut out your day. Spend time in Psalms, pray through them, meditate on them, and try to internalize them.

Remember that relationships consist of emotional bonds, and the first step in creating a heart connection with God is to open our hearts to Him. Accept that a fulfilling intimate love relationship with God is personal, and we must embrace the truth that intimacy with God has no contenders.

How Can I Engage God Emotionally In Prayer?

Engaging with God emotionally in prayer is essential for meaningful connection. Psalm 42 illustrates this beautifully, expressing longing for past fellowship with God’s people. The importance of heartfelt prayer is mirrored in various contexts, such as in the film "The Forbidden Kingdom," where an eager student seeks wisdom from a kung fu master. Prayer is emphasized as a divine method of communication, encouraging us to ask, seek, and knock. Reverence in prayer, through body posture or reflection, signifies submission to God.

Paul exemplifies a commitment to prayer for those he serves, highlighting the relationship prayer fosters. To deepen our emotional openness in prayer, we can incorporate practices such as meditating on the Psalms and reflecting on Christ’s suffering. As described in Timothy Keller's book "Prayer," consistent dialogue with God leads to emotional stability and greater understanding of His character.

Practical techniques for cultivating intimacy with God include praying through scripture, focusing on specific verses, and sharing personal emotions. Active listening and contemplative practices also enhance this sacred connection. Regular, mindful prayer helps articulate feelings and seek God's empathy. Ultimately, while emotions may arise during prayer, they should not solely dictate our approach; instead, they can guide us toward deeper understanding and hope in our relationship with God.

What Does The Bible Say About Emotional Connection

What Does The Bible Say About Emotional Connection?

We are encouraged to build each other up through mutual edification, emphasizing that emotional intimacy must be rooted in humility and a focus on others; otherwise, it lacks true brotherly love (1 Peter 1:22). Healthy relationships hinge on emotional intimacy, which fosters connection and trust. The Scriptures provide guidance on cultivating this intimacy through love and respect. Colossians 2:1-23 highlights the struggle in forming these bonds. Key verses include John 15:12-13, where Jesus commands us to love one another, and Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, which underscores the value of companionship.

Furthermore, the Bible advises us to manage our emotions wisely, leading to emotional wholeness and spiritual maturity, as noted in Romans and Ephesians. We should bring our feelings to God, seeking His guidance in navigating emotions (Philippians 4:6-7). Scriptural insights encourage loving behavior, empathy, and forgiveness—crucial components in nurturing relationships. For instance, Romans 12:15 calls for celebrating others' joys and sorrows.

Emotional expression is essential, yet it must be channeled appropriately, guided by biblical truths. Ultimately, through God’s guidance and the power of shared emotion, we can cultivate meaningful connections that reflect Christ’s love and foster emotional depth.

What Blocks Intimacy With God

What Blocks Intimacy With God?

Idolatry, defined as depending on something other than God for fulfillment, significantly obstructs intimacy with Him. Each person's journey towards closeness with God is unique, often featuring personal revelations and insights into His love and power. However, barriers exist, such as a misunderstanding of righteousness, worldly distractions, unconfessed sin, and emotional states like worthlessness and fear of judgment. The prophet Isaiah 59 highlights these hindrances faced by the Israelites, emphasizing the need for good fellowship with God through obedience to then experience true joy and peace.

Building intimacy starts with knowledge; studying God’s Word is vital for understanding Him better. Sin, including willfulness, distractions, and a lack of a prayerful lifestyle, can hinder our connection with God. To foster intimacy, Christians can engage in self-examination through prayer, focusing on potential barriers and seeking God’s guidance for overcoming them. Effective paths to deepening intimacy with God include nurturing a desire for Him, eliminating distractions, and maintaining transparency with Him.

It is crucial to recognize that surrendering to divine guidance can transform fears into sacred experiences, allowing for a richer, more profound connection with God. Ultimately, acknowledging God’s everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3) can lead to overcoming barriers to intimacy.

Can God Speak To You Through Feelings

Can God Speak To You Through Feelings?

God communicates with us through our emotions, and discerning His voice requires both discipline and trust. Our emotional state, particularly if it's self-centered or wounded, can skew our understanding. There are three primary ways God speaks through feelings: to alert us and foster self-awareness, to anchor us in our humanity, and to draw us closer to Himself. Signs such as inner peace, repeated messages, coincidences, strong intuitions, relevant scripture, dreams, and wise advice indicate God's communication. Recognizing these signs is essential for discerning His voice.

In addition to feelings, God speaks through various means, including His Word, the Holy Spirit, and life circumstances. Although He may not physically appear before us, His guidance comes through thoughts and emotions, often perceived as a sixth sense. Traditional biblical narratives depict God's communication as direct and clear, but today, His voice often manifests in subtler forms—through our conscience, experiences, and even conversations with others.

The emotional aspect of our relationship with God is significant, as both the divine and human experience emotions. Mission trips or profound life experiences can also enhance our ability to hear God's voice. Ultimately, while discernment is multifaceted, the assurance remains: God speaks to us intimately through our feelings and life experiences.

Acknowledging burdens in your heart during prayer and maintaining a routine of prayer and Bible study encourages closeness to God. Open communication throughout daily life can also deepen your relationship with Him, alongside participating in church activities and engaging with Scripture regularly.

  • Holly spirit made me feel like saying this because someone is needing it… For anyone needing this… Today holly spirit told me to inform you that God sees your struggles, sees the burdens you carry, he is always there with you, and have carried your weights before you, lastly he told me to tell you that He loves you, and that you dont have to worry or fear about your current circumstances, but completely trust Him, as this is happening all for your own good, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.. There is no coincidence that you see this, God bless you ❤

  • Im 13 yrs old and i scroll on social media all day and i feel dead inside. I never go outside im mean to my faimily and my siblings because i feel so lost and hurt. This article made me cry so much i realize god is always with me, and i love the bible verse at 8:44 i wrote that down in a note book. Its 2 am and i feel peace again. Im also starting VBS (vacation bible school) tomarrow. I feel so fresh and pure and i feel so loved. Thabk you from the bottom of my heart. Im going to try and change my ways and follow god now that i found him again.

  • I was once a sinner… An addict to immoral articles, weed etc,… I had anger issues in my life always felt so lost, no peace within me and hurt and lonely, I was always judgemental, lived my life in fantasy world/imagination but God helped me to become a better person and freed me from my miserable life I used to live and mental illnesses I thank my God in the name of our Lord Jesus christ

  • I’m literally 11 and I always go through social media feeling so dead inside me. My daily life was boring, I barely went outside, never spent quality time with family and praying until I saw this. This really helped me so much with my relationship with god, now after seeing this, I started praying with my family and feeling more connected and alive inside me.

  • I’m 13 years old and I’m trying to have a relationship with Jesus and God, but it’s been hard because I would always slowly fall into my old ways and repent and the end of the day, I’m getting sick and tired of not being able to make up my mind and thrive for Jesus everyday of my life, this path is complicated but growing up in a strong Christians family I have to try as hard as I can and get rid of the distractions and mute the world, if you have any suggestions or tips on how I could start please tell me, God bless ❤️

  • This hit me hard, I’ve always grew up a Catholic since the day I was born, but I never truly sat down to care about God or Jesus, I simply pushed it away. I know so many prayers and so many things about God but I just wasn’t there with him, I treated it like it was another school project. I’m almost 18 now and in the back of my mind I always questioned if he was real or not, this article really woke me up. He is real, and he’s amazing <3

  • Aww,thankyou for this. I really needed something like this. The past few months, I’ve become an angry Godless person and it has been prohibiting my ability to have faith that God will take care of me through all of the storms in my life. I have become lazy and mean, and I ran away from home yesterday thinking I could run away from my problems. Now I realize that I can’t just ignore my sin and let it grow like the weeds they are. I have to lay them at God’s feet, because I can’t do this alone. And I’ve proven that because my weak heart hasn’t been able to change on my own. I need His strength to carry on and not give in. The talk my mom gave me last night,Scripture, and this article are giving me courage to stand back up and get rid of my laziness and anger with the help of the Almighty God who promises that He’ll always take care of me. So thankyou for this article,it’s just what I needed for this new day I have placed in front of me. ❤

  • Listen I am a 13 year old Boy/Teenager who just scrolls social media all day I’m inappropriate with my friends I’m mean to my Family I don’t read my Bible consistently and I sin repeatedly I’m trying to grow in the lord and I know he always with me. But I feel like he’s doing so much more than I am when it comes to bringing people closer to god, I just went to a church camp and saw him work a revival in my church and I realized that I need to stop worrying about looking cool or being popular and try and speak god through myself.

  • When I was a young man, the Holy Spirit came to me in a dream and had me feel the power of the coming of Jesus. It was a sunny morning and I was thinking of what I wanted to do that day, when I was interupted by a sound of a horn in the distance. What followed was minor tremors of an earthquake. I stopped and as the horn grew louder, the more the ground shook. The ground began to shake so violently that I could no longer stand. I tried to get up and run but all I could do was lie there and cling to the ground. It was then I knew that Jesus had come back and I was not ready. I tried to pray but the chaos and destruction going on around me, along with this loud sounding horn, put me in severe state of panic and shock. I remember thinking, “I can’t believe this really happening to me.” And then just as quick as Jesus arrived, he was gone and everything got completely silent. As the debris and dust settled, I stood up and knew that Christ had come and I was not ready. When I woke up, my heart was still beating and I had to know if this dream truly depicted how Jesus was coming back. So I got a Bible and went to the Book of Revelation. The first scripture in Revelation that I came to stated, “On that great day, who shall be able to stand.” I was given that dream 30 years ago and it connected me to what’s coming. I can’t explain it but I feel it again and I know the time to get ready is now. Whoever humbles themselves and repents by calling on the name of Jesus, shall be saved.

  • Thank you so much for this article. Recently I have been struggling with sin, and have gone astray from the purposes of God. I am that kind of person that wants to cease existing when sin takes and usually forgets that God is merciful and loving. This article made me realize that in my struggles and hardships, God is always with me helping get through it, and no matter what. Indeed othing can separate me from his love. God bless!

  • Tonight I felt as if something told me I was going to die. I’d had backslid this afternoon after I had told myself not to. I gave into my flesh and my desires and afterwards it hurt. Before going to sleep I felt as if I had slept before praying I would die. I scrolled for preachings about the word of God. And came across this website. I feel more at peace and have reconciled my relationship with Jesus Christ. I’m reminded that im not alone. He’s always with me. I just have to pay attention more. Thank you so so much 💗. And to whoever reads this, just know when the devils wants to tempt you or remind you of your past, remind him of his future. May God bless anyone and everyone.

  • I’ve totally messed up my life After 18 years of no intimacy with my wife and of her telling me she would never be like that with me again I finally broke and gave into my perverted sin I thought if I just finally did it I would feel relieved but it did the opposite I am now tormented by it and just after Christmas my wife said she’s leaving me for good She doesn’t know what I did but it’s that she just didn’t love me and finally had to move on I was given this article by a young man who I consider to be a son of mine because I feel so far from God for who I am a broken man This short article really helped in that I needed to find a way back I hit rock bottom with my relationship with Jesus Now i my must start the healing process Thanks

  • I have been struggling and been at the deepest part of my life, I’m 16. And had such a fire for Jesus. And I have been feeling so depressed and anxious, I haven’t read my Bible in a few days, and I feel horrible. I realized I was reading out of law and legalism, instead of love. I have been praying for God to speak to me, and this was on my YouTube recommendation ❤

  • It’s been like a week since I started doing devotions and grow a relationship with him, now, for some good and nice reason, everytime I watch something that doesn’t involve the Word of God in it, I feel like something is telling me, “watch and learn God’s Words!” I like it:) Thank you for this article, God bless you! Amen, Hallelujah! (I subscribed just now)

  • Dear Impact article ministry, You may think that your article is not getting popular as much as ed sherren or tailor swift. But you need to know that you are spreading the good gospel of Jesus Christ for the believers who are poor in spirit. God is using you to deliver his messages to his loved ones. Greater is your reward in heaven. So keep going. May Jesus provide you everything you need and bless your life. 💖

  • i love this so much, God called me here, I didn’t even mean to click on this but I did, and I’ve been asking for this!! Thank You God for this article and for Your abundant love!!!! Let’s continue our faith journey together, ready set go… we got this!!

  • Thank you so much I was trying to figure this out for years why Christianity was so boring. But you made it clear as day what I was doing wrong. I was to busy trying to please God by being religious reading my bible and going to church with out really understanding why I was doing these things, because I really didn’t enjoy doing them at all but now it all makes sense. Thank you so much you have saved a soul today.

  • Everyday I wake up I pray to get my day started and I say outloud “Today I choose Jesus” To live more like Christ ( walking in love & truth) I talk to God throughout my day to keep that communication open & read His Word. Its been life changing! My heavenly Father I love so so much! Everyday is a new day with its own challenges. My favorite bible versus..Phillipians 4:6 2 Corinthians 12:9 and Psalm 86:15

  • Im 18 and i recently wanted to grow closer to god even though im not from a christian housold. I have no friend that believes in god ( exept one catholic that is not a very good person to hang out with ) but since i dont know much about god i started reading some bible verses online and listening to testimonies, despite all of that and all of my prayers, i doubt about god’s existance and everythings feels like its a excuse like ” oh you cant feel him and see him but he is still there” i want to believe so bad because i know it will bring me the peace i have searched for, i just want him to talk to me to make me feel like he is really there, i have talked a lot to him but now i would like to hear what he has to say to me… my parents wont let me buy a bible or anything that COULD strengten my faith, i dont know what to do really.

  • Thank you so much for this article. I have been struggling to get closer to god. My idea of getting closer to god was foggy, and i did feel that my efforts weren’t genuine to serving god for god but serving him for myself. I was so scared of punishment that i thought that doing all of those rules would get me to heaven, that i could get myself to heaven. But that’s not how it works, only Jesus can get us into heaven, and I understand that now. Thank you, and thanks be to god for bringing me this wonderful, helpful message ❤❤ Jesus loves you all

  • I’m 11 years old and I’m trying to build a relationship with God and Jesus but I keep falling into my old ways and keep asking for forgiveness for the same sin and I’m currently trying to get out of that sin and have a relationship with God and Jesus and this article is perfect for me because it reminds me of how big Gods love for us is and to be a better person so I don’t fall into the same sin again

  • The Concrete Confessional addiction blog guy wrote a series of articles about how he reconnected with God (it’s organized according to the 12-Step framework / Christian spirituality, but it is pretty nondenominational). The most honest, humble, and funny spiritual takes I’ve come across in a long while.

  • Great article for future young christians to understand the love of God. Keeping it simple. During hard times, we rely on the thought that the holy spirit within us has not left us. Remember Romans Chapter 5. The struggle is necessary. It’s okay to struggle. We’ll have our good days, our bad days and terrible days, but the good Lord is still with us building us up through the Holy Spirit. God has strengthened me through the loss of two parents from cancer. Their death were two years apart, and as their care taker it was tough for me as well as for them. But I learned more from these struggles about God through these trials (may parents learned as well) that JESUS is still our king. God is good. It made me stronger and yes even now I have days when I feel I’m alone, but the bible and especially Romans reminds me that I AM NOT ALONE. Glory to God! This is a great article for our younger generation. Bravo!

  • Thank you very much. I am 11 years old and I have problems with not being straight with God. My parents have a saying, you can only live the truth or you only you a lie you can’t live both at the same time. tThis article really helped me and I will continue, following God and having a strong relationship with him and believing that he sent only son down to die for us because he loved us that much thank you so much. This article changed my life. God bless you.❤️✝️

  • at 38, I’m in the military and raising 2 kids alone, one of which is special needs. I try and do right by my kids and the people in my life, I see the beauty in the world around me when I drive through the farmlands in the morning taking my kids to school. I try not to screw people over or hurt them, and I like to think that the big guy upstairs knows I’m not perfect, but I’m doing the best I can. I hope that’s enough.

  • Thank you. Every time I watch one of your articles, it strikes me in the dusty corners of my heart. Self-discipline is not my strong suit, in fact I feel distinctly that lack, and it makes me think I am unsuited to glorify God or do anything for Him, especially since I can’t even do the drawing near to Him on my own. I feel that my mental disability makes it nearly impossible to be a good disciple, and I am very discouraged. Your articles do help ease that discouragement, so thank you.

  • This was a blessing for me. I just recently had a mental breakdown because of how the way I’ve lived my life hasn’t made much room for Jesus, even after I was saved. I still have a long path ahead of me, as every Christian does, but as a highly sensitive individual who overthinks everything, this gave my soul some rest and encouragement. I’m so glad I found your very helpful and insightful website! God bless you and everyone else on this website’s team.❤❤❤

  • I really needed this, you see. I’ve recently had a fear of death wash over me after the passing of my grandmother, and it has scared me. I lost my connection with religion, belief, and most importantly, God. I now know why I’m scared of death. It is because mine and God’s relationship has grown weaker and weaker. But now I can begin to build my friendship and love for God back up to the point it once was at. Thank you and my God be with you through your times of trouble and need. 🙏

  • Please pray for my friend. So many betrayed him, and he carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. He didn’t believe me when I said I would be there for him. I want to, and I pray to God that I have that permission. I want to be a part of his life through his ups and downs. But mostly, I want God to be with him. Please send prayers for him. He needs Godspeed on his journey.

  • Thank you for this, everything that I’ve been questioning myself has been answered. I struggled with the sins of stealing, I lied a lot, I also dealt with the sin of lust. But now that I know what our LORD JESUS CHRIST has done for me, I want to focus on my relationship growth with God, and look into the scriptures to purify my thoughts of doubt and push forward. I believe that this article can help a lot of other christians so I will share it to some people that I know, and by Gods willing, this may touch their souls and help them believe in him. God Bless all of you! 😄💕👐🏽

  • Amen thank you for this article!!! Thank you Lord and God for everything you given me, I’m thankful, Amen! I pray I’ll continue to be on the road you want me on Lord, I want to pick up my cross daily and deny the flesh, I don’t wanna be a sinful girl, I wanna worship and praise you and all your glory, so I thank you and ask you to continue to guide me on the path you want me on, and May I see you in heaven:)🤍

  • Honestly, as someone who has been saved by grace for 16 years, and not just strayed but actively ran from God for the past 5 years, this honestly brought me to tears. I really needed this, amd somehow it ended up on my feed. Thank you for being an instrument of the Lord and putting this up for me to come across years later.

  • I was just feeling worried about this and god sent this to my article feed for me! Thank you Jesus! I needed this! I have cut the sin out of my life, I was caught in lust and lies. I have went to the cross cried out to him at work to forgive me, for I know I have been bad and I felt that weight lift off that same moment after I was done crying! I just need to read his word daily and meditate on it. I need to cut article games out of my life it is a distraction! Pray for me that I overcome this gaming addiction I know it isn’t necessarily wrong to play them. But they were an idol to me in a sense that it took my time away from him. I have started to read daily. And I started in Matthew and I’m on luke now! But please pray over me that I may kick this nasty habit that is taking my time away from him. I ran already and he brought me back. Time to get SERIOUS! Amen! Bless you for reading this and have a blessed week!

  • This was a such a great reassurance that I needed. I slip up so much that I just sometimes feel like I’m no longer saved and I start to question myself if I’m even saved anymore. I still hate the things I do because like Paul said “The right I wanna do I don’t do it, the wrong I don’t wanna do I end up doing it” I need serious prayer because I’ve been saved for years and I just constantly doubt myself that I still belong to God and I hate feeling like such a slave to sin”.

  • I really want to just cry, but im 12 and dont want to worry anyone. If I cry, I will not stop, and my eyes get really puffy. I did cry the other day and my mom noticed. I still dont trust anyone but God. I need help. I dont want to live cause I want to be with Jesus. But I dont want to kill myself or hurt myself. I see no point in life anymore. Im just waiting for a sign from God. Edit: ty to everyone who has showed me support in the replies. May God bless you all!

  • I deal with the top 2 extreme chronic pain health issues just under terminally ill cancer. One from failed brain surgery and other from a failed back procedure. I’m a completely different person, for the good and the bad. Heavy meds help keep the pain under control. It helps me to just be able to do basic things like hygiene grocery shop laundry. But I noticed it cuts off my longing to get closer to Jesus. I don’t know how I’m supposed to deal with this in the long run. This year is 5 years and it already feels like it’s been a lifetime.

  • Just last night I fell into temptation, and as a result felt guilty about it. I prayed for forgiveness and read my Bible this morning without realizing that I don’t get close to God again that way. I’ve been doing this for months until finally this article came up on my page and I finally learned the truth

  • I’ve had always thought that Jesus and I always had this distance right now because no matter how much effort I put in such as reading the Bible everyday and praying everyday, it still felt the same, so when I saw this article in my youtube page about “how to improve your relationship with God” I tapped the article without hesitation, and you gave me a smile when you said “God is close to us because God the holy spirit, dwells on us”. If your also in the same situation as I did, then I want to tell this that, God loves you no matter what, he is always and will always meet us, wherever we are, no matter how far we think we are. God is always in our midst. It’s just His nature. Have a great day or have a good night! And don’t forget that Jesus loves you. >3

  • The greatest that ever lived; He had no servants, yet they called Him Master. He had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. He had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer. He had no army, yet Kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He had no crime, yet they crucified Him. He had no need, yet He forgave them as they mocked. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. His name is Jesus Christ and He is the Saviour of the world.

  • Man, thank you so much, this article literally renewed my day. I was so disappointed in myself because I thought God was far away from me and I just cried and was really sad. But this article really made my day and saved me, now I really understand how much God loves me! Thank you so much, I can’t even express my gratitude. God bless you!

  • Normally I pray with nothing distracting me twice a day but with me working out and my body being sore I changed it too once a day for now just till I Stop hurting and everything about me changed but sometimes I still slip up and say stuff I shouldn’t. But I’m still in the learning process of me following Jesus. And I was just so used to saying these things before but I know I will get better with it and be a better person because of it. But so far I’m so proud of the progress that I’ve accomplished this was always the person that I dreamed of becoming when I was younger

  • watching this article I’m realizing why I feel so far from god, i got focused on the rules and trying to do right by god, just trying to make him happy i guess. but realizing i fell short of his glory every time i got harder on myself and got so hyper focused on trying not to break any commandments, reading my bible and praying non stop it started not to come from a place of loving god and doing it but just doing it as if it was a job. this article woke me up thank u

  • Thank you! I needed this. For the past couple of years I’ve been following people on social media and listening to secular music and recently I’ve been feeling the Holy Spirit telling me that I need to stop doing that and unfollow those people. One of those people I was following until she went on maternity leave (she had sex before marriage, cusses a lot, and it’s easy to tell she’s not a Christian) until I felt the Holy Spirit saying “you have no idea when she’s going to have that baby. It could be tomorrow, it could be in 2-3 weeks. You should unfollow her now” so that’s what I did. I unfollowed her. Then I’m following a music artist who I’m waiting until her next release (end of this week) and then I’ll completely unfollow her (I haven’t been listening to her much anyways and last time I tried to listen to her I got a minute into the song and felt like i shouldn’t be listening to her so I switched music. Because of that I don’t even know if I’ll even listen to her new release). I feel God trying to work in my life and get me to be better by getting me to unfollow these people Question to anyone who’s still reading at this point. I’m following someone on instagram who posts Christian articles, but recently I’ve felt like I should unfollow him because most of his content either gives me anxiety or he says that the only solution is to go to his company and get a mentor. He never says anything about “go talk to a pastor or someone you trust (and the way he words it, he makes it sound like this is the only way).

  • Thank you for this. God bless anyone looking at this and your family. God is the all powerful who could snap everything away from us in a second! But putting your faith and trust in him is the best thing to do. I am still very young and havent even finished high school yet and I know those words. Im still working on it though. Cherish God and he’ll cherish you. ❤Amen Please give me guidance or advice anyone 🙏

  • I love this website so much. I was grown as a catholic from birth and you have been aiding me by helping me build my relationship with God. Thank you so much for always posting articles of frequent asked questions so that we can all be saved by our Lord and Savior. And your purpose in life is to make sure that most of us are doing well with our relationships with the Holy Trinity. Thank you for everything and Amen ❤

  • This made me cry. I have been struggling a lot in life and people have tried to use God against me to try and say I’m doing the right thing. And now I am in a relationship I am so scared of loosing I’ve come to my knees with God so he can guide me in the right direction. I truly hope God can save me as he has done so many others and I wish to devote myself to him so that I may worship him and finally be at peace in my life whether that be on my plan I life or something completely different

  • Today i started having doubt about Jesus i keep asking myself what do Jesus look like and someone in come tary article said its not the look who count but the action and i felt far from God and now here i see this pop on my screen that surely a message of God thank you my lord i love you with all my heart and mind Glory to God amen ❤❤❤❤❤❤

  • This is one of the best sites I have subscribed too! You’re teachings are great, easy for us old folks to follow along even for nonbelievers to follow along..and are from scripture that I can trust and rely on. Where have you been most of my life? Thank you so much and keep on doing what you’re doing because this site is GOD approved. ❤

  • Thank you man. Really helped me out. I was a Christian but when my dog fell sick I prayed everyday for god to save him but he died… then I lost faith, and then my parents divorced, and then I changed city and THEN my tarantula (I like spiders don’t judge please) died at only one year old. I’m stressed for school and I am having suicidal thoughts very often these months. But your articles are helping me not thinking about what is happening and to go in reconciliation with god, thank you. Amen 🙏 ✝️

  • Thank you, brother, for giving Sight to Me blind, for making me realise the truth, that No matter what we do, we’re never worthy of Heaven, and it is God’s Mercy and Jesus’ Sacrifice alone that Gives us Salvation. We must be thankful and Grateful for God’s Love, He Loves us so much he let his Only Son die for us. For us! We, the Sinful Creatures not worthy of Heaven! Yet He still lets us into His Kingdom, we must be grateful to him, for all the Forgiveness he gave us over the years. I couldn’t finish perusal the article without Shedding a tear, realising my mistakes, and my misguidedness in Sin. Thank you for Reminding me why i am where i am, instead of being punished for my Sins.

  • This article came at the right time it felt like God was distant now than it was before it felt real close and I felt happier and better with myself and I had a crazy aura around me but now I know it’s going to be me to make the difference I need to make more time with God and grow my relationship with him better I can’t just read the word of GOD here and there and expect everything to be better I need to go head on with the Lord and be closer to him

  • These past few days I’ve been struggling with my sins why do I do all those things which is not good for me and it will make me feel distance from God but knowing that God will forgive me no matter what. Now I’m trying to turn away from those sins and try not to keep on letting God down and pray that everything will change after my baptism.

  • i’m a 15 year old christian from india, i’ve been really distant from good from the past 10 years and it may be due to my family’s distancing from god and church. they were not very fond of going to the church or having a habit of praying or reading the bible. and honestly, i’ve been like that as well, but i think it’s time for me to change and get closer to god, i don’t visit the church often enough, but i will build a habit of reading the bible everyday, praying, applying the verses in my daily life and just focus on being a good person.

  • I got converted to christianity back in 2005 just after my highschool graduation,i might be still struggling as a human being and sometimes even feeling dead daily but still scratching and clawing my way back up and walking and swimming my way spiritually to his word even if i dont get it most times,at least i havent fall like this crazy mother god ladie i saw not so long ago in a documentary film, its unbelievable how twisted she was and how powerful can a brain go after any choice we make :/

  • I can’t even right now- I almost started crying and had to hold my tears back. I don’t want to share what I did but lets just say I feel guilty, like really guilty. Guilty to the point where when I went to do my night prayer- I didn’t even pray for me just people like my family because I know as it is, no one is deserving of God and what he does but now I feel really undeserving. I haven’t even finished the full article in fact I only got to step 2 but Step 1 really helped me see that I need to just trust and believe in my faith and I am saved through that. If anyone has help or tips please let me know <333

  • After summer break which I spent in my home country with my family, I came back and we moved to another city here in the Uk.. I haven’t been to school for 2 months since September and for the past week I’ve been trying so hard by reading the Bible everyday and praying (which I always have) but in the end of the day I always go back to my phone bc I have nowhere else to go or do something im thankfully going to school next week again and I pray me and my brother can be light there ❤

  • I was a pure skeptic of God from my teens I studied everything science (as a hobby of course) but as I got to 32 something changed I can’t explain it, like everyone everything moving in such a rhythm God just made perfect sense and all of a sudden he was there and the funny thing is as a kid growing up in a Catholic family i hated religion and it only got a pass because of how lovely my parents were but all that dark miserable scripture used to put me off it was like gate keeping as if I had to be as miserable as the old preachers to know God it seemed very controlling then like I said at 32 I found God or he found me because it happened completely independently from any church or religious guidance but eventually I picked up the good book and read it my way and I won’t lie I wonder how much was lost in translation over the centuries and how much was the true word of God but I found the journey meaningful and it felt right to live by the book as best I can and as I read about God I knew this was the guy who found me and I’m at total peace with my maker and at peace with myself. Christ is king 🙏

  • I’m struggling with life, but I know God is with me. Finantial, work, and relationship problems. I’ve had problems with immoral content but it’s over now through God help I have over come that in my life. I return to God’s guidance through the Bible but I feel slow. I know its not going to happen overnight it just seems overwhelming for me sometimes. God is the only God. P.s. sorry for the ramble. Trying to overcome adhd aswell..

  • God the father the creator You’ve done so many things in my life I ask you to forgive each and everyone in the world for noone is perfect but you. I ask that those people who think there are not close to you bless the world let everyone go to heaven and follow your name let those people who made sin forgive them

  • I am a student in college and lately i have skipped alot of my classes and join the wrong group of friends I was lost so i was always on my phone believen that it can remove this empty feeling in my mind however nothing has changed I miss my past self where i was not into any of these sinful thoughts so thankyou for helping me out in this time

  • thank you this one helped alot, I’m struggling as a christian, I do Bible study every week but my heart hasn’t been truly 100 percent in it, I’m not as passionate about God as I used to be and want to be, I’m with God forever it’s just a hard road, please pray for me, much love in Jesus name, amen <3 !

  • I felt a disconnection and cried out to God, to feel His love. I felt in my spirit “reflect on His work on the cross” I realized, God demonstrated ultimate love by sacrificing His begotten son, allowing Him to be humiliated and tortured, so that we can have eternal life with him. Jesus humiliated Himself for my sake. The depth of the agony, suffering, and pain He endured for my salvation is beyond my grasp. What kind of love surpasses this? If you ever catch yourself complaining about the minor hardships of this worldly existence and feeling distant from God’s love, remember the work on the cross and nothing surpasses that! Focus on the tremendous price Jesus paid for us to be in harmony with God, rather than getting caught up in all the rules to follow. Thank you, Jesus, for your unparalleled love and sacrifice. I love you and am forever grateful✝✝✝

  • Sometimes I feel like there are two classes of Christianity. Pentecostals and everyone else. Pentecostals seem to hear from God constantly. It feels like i’ve done Christianity wrong my whole life. Could you also speak to where the power comes from to live a Christian life that is impactful . I love your articles so much!!!

  • Thank you so much for uploading this. It really did help me so much. I learned a lot from this article, how I’ve been doing so many things wrong and I was not really putting an effort to really feel the presence of the lord because my mind is focused on things that doesn’t really matter. I took advantage to the fact that god will never leaves no matter what thats why I keep putting god from the side… This is why I am confessing right here and now that I am a sinner, and Jesus Christ is the lord. I am not even worthy to call upon his name because I am so unclean… Please pray for me, i am really struggling everyday😢 God please help me..😞🙏 I don’t know what I have becomed right now at this moment..

  • Very informative. It solidifies the poem from another youtube article and gives more definition to that same article. ” Why I hate Religion, but love Jesus” – Jeff @ Alyssa. it is only by his grace that we are saved, but it is by our works. how we separate ourselves from the sinful nature in this world and draw to his word that keeps up feeling close to him.

  • That’s exactly what’s happening to me. I feel distant, even tho I know he is there. I started sinning more again, even tho I know it’s bad and not benefical in any way. And I totally for got about the Holy Spirit. I didn’t realise the Holy Spirit is always with me. It’s Like I just threw it out of my mind. Now I am aware again, and I thank you for this Reminder 😊
