I’m sure he’s a nice person. It sounds like his family background is made up of high achievers. There comes a time in life where even if you are working in the family business, you need to actually be working. Not just living off others hard work. His body language gives off insecurity. Maybe he’s afraid of failure, so he just doesn’t try. People don’t need marriage and children to be successful but good old fashion work does build confidence and makes one proud of their accomplishments. Nothing is worse than when you’re a 20 something hanging out in the local pub and some 40 or 50 year old man is trying to hang out with you. Time to move on out of the college scene and behavior.
Hes very articulate but doesnt realize his upbringing isnt due to being lucky its a blessing actually ppl want him to work but forget the reality show is work in a way he may not have the traditional 9 to 5 but its something hes earning a salary from so hes working not to mentioned he comes from wealth and i believe he stated before that he invest his money as well and has invested in certain companies etc..that he has a nice return from so iam assuming that also plays a role with his lifestyle he may appear peter pan like in certain aspects of his life but i think the areas that matters he probably has that covered more than ppl know or give him credit for
Wondering if Shep is Italian and if his dad knows the cuisine and if there’s any authentic Italian food in Charleston, I was reminded of the Manzos. I had my mom’s repast at the Brownstone in March 2006. Lauren took care of us. What a doll. I hope I overtipped her. Knowing me, I probably did. The food was YUM! And Lauren made sure I had a doggy bag (a shopping bag, two shopping bags) full of the leftover food to take home. Those of the Brownstone staff who met my now late great little bro w/Down syndrome got a huge kick out of him and were so respectful toward him. And playful. Nothing but good things to say. Even the price was reasonable, given the delish food.
This comment section cracks me up. I assure you Shep isn’t loosing sleep over the opinion of people like y’all. The comment section reeks of jealousy and trust me people that come from old money like Shep does are use to it. I grew up the same way and I have a trust fund that will last me a lifetime and then last my kids most of their lives. However, I went to college and have a excellent job as a marketing manager but I don’t have to work. I choose to bc my parents instilled values and a work ethic in me. Most people are jealous of others that don’t have to bust their asses and only barely get by and that’s a normal feeling. I would be too. I can buy anything I want and buy my kids anything they want at anytime. I could quit my job right now and still live the lifestyle I do. My husband is a doctor who grew up privileged too and we get a lot of hate thrown at us sometimes but we just laugh it off bc we know it’s coming from a place of resentment and jealousy. Of course none of y’all would ever admit it but everyone wants nice things in this life and wants to drive the best cars, live in the nicest homes, go on the best vacations. We’re extremely blessed and I don’t take it for granted. I’m so thankful but their is no point in degrading Shep bc he knows where it’s coming from and he could careless.
His inherited wealth and lousy attitude are indicative of the privilege that is offered to those that are undeserving. Ones self perceived intelligence is just that, perceived, not a given. Like so many that do not earn their easy lifestyle the superiority claims and attempts are truly comically sad.
