What Creates Strength In Family?

Strong families are characterized by warmth, good communication, predictability, and strong external connections. Appreciating one another is vital for individual self-worth within the family. Although they face stress and crises, strong families manage these challenges more effectively than troubled ones. Increased responsibilities enhance family power and bonding. Essential traits of strong families include effective communication, expressed appreciation, and a commitment to each other's happiness.

Crises can either weaken or strengthen familial bonds, highlighting the need to remember one's strengths during tough times. What Are The Three 3 Basic Needs Of A Family?

Modern lists of basic needs extend beyond food, water, clothing, and shelter to include transportation, sanitation, education, and healthcare, as highlighted in the Livelihood section of the Three Principles of the People. According to Maslow's hierarchy, basic needs encompass safety and physiological levels, while social needs address love, acceptance, and belonging—emotional relationships crucial to human behavior.

Feeding, as a biological need, is fundamental for health, especially in children. Essential family needs comprise housing, nutritious food, affection, and protection, with the family acting as the foundational unit of society, shaping members’ experiences and achievements.

Maslow’s Hierarchy details five stages: Physiological Needs (food, water, air, and shelter), Safety Needs (shelter and routine), and social/emotional needs (belonging and love). Healthy families respect boundaries and provide warmth, comfort, and socialization. Basic needs serve as a guide for personal development and wellbeing. Traditional lists identify food, shelter, and clothing as immediate needs.

When families meet these needs, stress for caregivers decreases. Overall, basic needs profoundly affect individual and family health, stability, and psychological motivation, emphasizing their importance in human development and community structure.

  • . I tell my husband that I appreciate physical hugs, kisses etc… he tells me that those things are not his way of showing love … that’s modern western way … and he doesn’t need to do those things to prove his love for me… he’s a good person but I just don’t have those feelings for him anymore. I regret marrying him. He doesn’t pray with me, lead my family in Christ (he doesn’t like anything church related like Bible studies, volunteering) besides going to church.
