So what??? Boy can I relate!! Sounds like most every family in the country since Trump came in the picture. I’ve had to unfriend most of my Trump-supporting cousins on FB. I don’t go to family reunions anymore because I’m outnumbered by the fanatics. Especially the ones who pose as Christians and Patriots, while at the same time they endorse the man with no morals, no integrity, no honesty and no respect for our veterans. Walz’s own brother has been estranged for 8 years. Know what happened 8 years ago? Donald Trump happened. His divisiveness has spread to everyone in the country, so this Walz family-thing is nothing newsworthy!.
The media is like a methadone clinic for spectacle. People would be far better off going cold turkey, but it benefits both parties. We all have families with cousins and second cousins, aunts, uncles, grand parents from both sides ect…and most extended familes probaly have huge variations in their political beliefs
I was born and raised in a small town in Nebraska. Its hilarious you think this, means something because so many from small towns there are stuck in their little boxes and never move away so the big scary world never influences them. What a joke, I moved away and joined the military to think bigger. There is a reason so many of these small towns get smaller or stay small we all grow up and realize we can be better and not be bigots.
Unlike RFK Jr., Walz’s immediate family endorse him, except his older brother. These other relatives are through his great-uncle. They are also from Nebraska, a red state. How much do they really know him or maybe just disagree with him because they support republicans. Remember, not all Roosevelts were democrats.
Wow and you couldn’t get any of them to speak to you which shows how little respect they have for your rag of a paper. They don’t accept his ideology. Trump’s family (not on the grift) don’t like personally or his political views. Even his wife isn’t campaigning for him but is his daughter. Kudos for the try.
Penny, I saw one website when they were asking about Kim Walters son and how people will make fun of him. I didn’t see it. I get where I saw it. I saw him abuse his son on stage when he almost ripped his arm off when they bring that up?if he does that in the world stage, what does he do to that poor boy in private?
This is a bit embarrassing for Trump supporters, of whom I am one. It says Nebraska Walz’s for Trump. Walz’s what, I might ask. The plural of “one Walz” is “a number of Walzs.” We do not use apostrophes to form plurals in English. The Smiths, the Browns, the Joneses, and the Walzs: English 101. (Sheesh!)
That’s what we’d expect of Minnesotans, lacking. Plus, we know there are plenty of these in every family. But to blatantly pose like that against a family member shows jealousy, ignorance, pettiness, and just plain meanness. Typical of their fellow Trump supporters all across social strata. No class.
Trump is a product of our society, and it’s a reminder that moral education is crucial in every family. His constant lying has caused his followers to lose sight of the truth. It’s important that we use our freedom to choose and speak, protected by our constitution, to hold our leaders accountable. Trump’s disregard for the constitution is alarming, and a leader’s moral fitness should be a top priority, regardless of their wealth and success in business.
