Does The Kennedy Family Provide Assistance Hillary Clinton?

5.0 rating based on 42 ratings

The Kennedy family, including John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy, is divided on whether to support former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton or Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren for the Democratic presidential race. All of the Kennedy family members who have held elected office, including John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy, have done so as members of the Democratic party. In an echo of 2008 when Ted and Caroline Kennedy backed upstart Barack Obama over Hillary Rodham Clinton, members of the Kennedy clan have been quietly supporting Clinton.

RFK Jr. cannot hide his record of endorsing Hillary Clinton, supporting the Green New Deal, fighting against the Keystone Pipeline, and praising tax hikes. Caroline Kennedy, whose endorsement of Barack Obama in 2008 was a major setback for Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign, said Thursday that she would “absolutely” support Mrs. Clinton. President Joe Biden has welcomed the support of Kennedy family members, some of whom have lined up against RFK Jr.’s campaign.

Hillary Clinton cited Robert F. Kennedy’s June 1968 assassination as a reason to remain in the presidential race against Barack Obama in 2008. Kennedy’s life was a world away from that of the wealthy, urbane president, but, like many Americans, he deeply admired President John F. Kennedy and his family. Caroline Kennedy, whose endorsement of Barack Obama in 2008 was a major setback for Hillary Rodham Clinton, said Thursday that she would “absolutely” support Mrs. Clinton.

In conclusion, the Kennedy family is divided on whether to support Hillary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren for the Democratic presidential race.

What Did Kennedy'S Siblings Say After He Suspended His Campaign?

On Friday, five siblings of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. condemned his decision to suspend his presidential campaign and endorse Donald Trump. They released a joint statement expressing their desire for an America united by hope, individual freedom, economic opportunity, and national pride. This endorsement has strained family relations, as multiple family members, including fifteen who previously supported Joe Biden, publicly denounced Robert's actions.

Kerry Kennedy, RFK Jr.'s sister and a human rights activist, expressed her disgust at her brother's choice, suggesting that their father would have detested Trump's values. The siblings characterized his support for Trump as a "betrayal" of their father's values, calling it "a sad ending to a sad story." Jack Schlossberg, a cousin and grandson of JFK, described RFK Jr. as "for sale" due to his Trump endorsement.

Responses from family members indicate a deep rift within the Kennedy clan, with many concerned that RFK Jr.'s actions could adversely affect President Biden's reelection campaign. As the situation unfolds, the tensions over his political alignment remain palpable among the storied Kennedy family.

Does Robert Kennedy Support Hillary Clinton?

Presidential candidate Robert Kennedy, Jr. has a notable history of supporting Hillary Clinton, transitioning from a Democrat to running as an independent in his current campaign. In a recent Yahoo News interview, Kennedy endorsed Clinton for president and expressed gratitude towards Bernie Sanders for his actions within the party. His endorsement for Clinton dates back to at least 2000 when he praised her character in a Senate campaign ad. Kennedy has emphasized her potential leadership on environmental issues during her Senate candidacy.

Amid the current political landscape, claims have been made about Kennedy being labeled as a radical liberal by Republicans, while some Democrats assert he is being financed by right-wing donors. This positioning may attract support from disenchanted voters, including former supporters of Governor Ron DeSantis. Despite the Democratic establishment's concerns regarding Kennedy's independent run, polls indicate he is garnering significant attention and support from voters, potentially influencing the upcoming presidential race.

Clinton’s invocation of Robert F. Kennedy's 1968 assassination is noted as a historical reference in her campaign strategies. Kennedy's independent candidacy could pose challenges for both Biden and the traditional Democratic agenda.

Did Hillary Clinton Refer To Robert F Kennedy In 2008?

Hillary Clinton faced backlash after referencing the 1968 assassination of Robert F. Kennedy to justify her decision to continue her presidential campaign against Barack Obama in 2008. Clinton suggested that historical primaries, like those following Kennedy's assassination, can extend beyond expected timelines, thus defending her persistent pursuit of the Democratic nomination despite dwindling support. Her remarks quickly garnered media attention and led to criticism from her opponents, particularly Obama’s camp, who viewed the comparison as inappropriate.

Clinton later apologized for her comments, emphasizing her intent to highlight the unpredictable nature of political races rather than to invoke the tragedy of the assassination itself. The discussion surrounding her controversial allusion caught the attention of the political landscape, reopening debates about the implications of historical references in contemporary electoral contexts. Despite the negative reactions, Clinton maintained a narrative of resilience, pointing out that several primary contests have historically continued even amid challenges. The uproar underscored the sensitivity surrounding discussions of assassination and its impact on political discourse, reflecting broader tensions in the race for the nomination.

  • This is exactly how it went for me. In 2016, 2017, 2018 I got curious with the friends and strangers who voted for Trump, legitimately trying to understand their point of view. And what I saw was people who felt let down by the establishment. Then I fell in love with Tulsi Gabbard in 2019 because she’s composed, service-oriented and ridiculously smart. Then I heard Hillary Clinton, who acted entitled and childish after she lost in 2016, actually have the nerve to imply that Tulsi, who’s the most patriotic Democrat, was working for the Russians. Then I found out that it was because Tulsi stood up to Hillary when she stole the primary from Bernie in 2016. I have zero respect left for Hillary Clinton – from my perspective she doesn’t deserve to use Tulsi Gabbard‘s name in a sentence.

  • Its so bizarre how I’ve been silenced 18 different times for posting this comment. Admittedly, I’m getting exhausted with resisting the unforgiving dynamics of this website. Its negligence & oversight is provoking me to leave this site behind & never go back. However, regarding a persons original post & what I would assume is the highlight of why I’m getting silenced with impunity in the first place; my guess why people are resistant towards the concept of “Make America Great Again” is because there are people with undying confidence that America isn’t in decline. So they will resist any possible concept that it isn’t great. Even if it means embodying some semblance of hypocrisy.

  • I don’t think we’ve had a politician who’s had any answers, or even sought to get at the “root causes” of chronic disease in America. Chronic illnesses are off the charts, and all Washington can do is throw money at the problem. We’re consuming unnatural chemical cocktails daily, we’re surrounded by invisible frequency/electromagnetic pollution, we clean ourselves with petrochemical soaps and detergents, and the pharmaceutical alterations to the human brain are hardly even studied, let alone acknowledged in public debate. All these things are manifested by the various industries that lobby and regulate our government, and own our representatives.

  • As I looked through the glass, and I noticed a dim light coming from under the bridge. My curiosity led me to investigate, there I found a man kneeling, with a drill in hand. The man was drilling a hole, approximately an inch in diameter into the lower portion of the supporting beam that held up the bridge. I called out to him, “What are you doing” He appeared startled, it was like he heard me, but he could not see me! He appeared puzzled that, I could see him, he then followed the voice, only to find that I had closed the door. The bridge was there to join two separate entities, a man and his neighbor. • During the Trump administration, policies were implemented at the U.S. border that included stricter enforcement measures under the banner of reducing illegal immigration and addressing human trafficking concerns. One aspect of this approach involved the use of DNA testing to verify familial relationships among migrants at the border. This was part of an effort to prevent human trafficking by ensuring that adults accompanying children were indeed their family members and not traffickers pretending to be relatives. These measures were part of a broader set of immigration enforcement policies, some of which were highly controversial, such as the separation of families under the “zero tolerance” policy. The administration argued that these policies were necessary to secure the border and to crack down on human trafficking rings. during the enforcement of stricter border control policies, authorities reported cases where children were not related to the adults claiming to be their guardians. These findings supported concerns about child trafficking and the misuse of children to exploit asylum laws. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other related agencies highlighted such incidents as justification for implementing rigorous screening processes, including DNA testing, to verify familial relationships. Federal Actions Against Human Trafficking Under Trump: Executive Orders and Legislation: Executive Order on Combating Human Trafficking and Online Child Exploitation in the United States (January 31, 2020): This order aimed to strengthen federal resources dedicated to combating human trafficking and to expand education related to child and human trafficking issues.

  • Translation: “I opened my eyes and started paying attention and what I saw horrified me.” AKA the revelation that I and practically every Walk Away from the Democrats underwent that made us change our minds about what we were supporting. When, as President Reagan said, we realized that we weren’t leaving them; they left us.

  • It’s like I am hearing my thoughts narrated by someone else, I was also a lifelong Democrat and I was a never Trumper from a family that had been Democrat for over a century, a family that had been here since at least 1805, I thought I would always be a Democrat but people like Hillary changed all of that, my countrymen are not deplorable, and those people that are called “rednecks” and “hillbillies” are some of the kindest most honest Americans you will ever meet, I will never vote for another democrat, my patriotism will not allow it

  • I am a life long conservative..normally I completely despise all democrats..I’m old enough to remember the assassination of JFK..In my mind he was the last democrat who loved and served his country with honor…along comes RFK Jr..I totally admire this man bc he sees the difference in rite and wrong and like his uncle he loves his country..his family is at odds with him as is his wife but he stands on his principles and beliefs..this is a man to respect and honor

  • Never in my life would I have thought a Kennedy would jump ship! JFK did it during WWll off of PT 109. It took personal conviction for both him and Tulsi to do so. This tells me they are putting the love of Americans first. I hope Trump finds cabinet posìtions for them. Their ideas and values would be great for improving our country!
